this rom http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1473218 flash
JaggyRom_3.2.1
before flash do this
1. Install HTC Sync on your PC
you can download it from: www.htc.com/www/help/htc-explorer/#download
(needed so computer recognises commands)
2. Unlock your phone's bootloader
- Following the steps in www.htcdev.com/bootloader
Note: HTC Explorer isn´t listed as a working device yet but it has been tested and works perfectly. Choose "all other supported models" when selecting device.
3. Add a recovery
That will allow you to install .zip ROMs. You can access to it in the menu android phones have when booting the phone after removing-inserting the battery and pressing "volume down" and "power" buttons simultaneously. (Other phones have different button combinations).
- Download A310E Recovery.zip
- extract it in any window on your PC (ie: C:\HTC)
- run the recovery.bat with phone in fastboot mode (first option in the "3 android menu" ) and connected with usb.
Note: I edited the recovery.bat and removed any unnecessary commands so no errors occur
Done! You got the recovery installed if no errors, you can now install any compatible .zip ROM or app.
4. ROOT the device
- Place this Superuser.zip file somewhere in the microSD first.
- Go into Recovery mode ("volume down" + "power")
- install Superuser.zip with the option "install .zip from sd" from the recovery menu.
Ohkay. And anything else you flashed ? Before flashing this rom, or after ?

no after flash no service show and Error while searching for network
Maybe some problem with the rom. Just to be sure that it is not your hardware fault, flash any other rom, or the stock rom. If you receive network then most probably something wicked happened while you were flashing the rom (assuming this isn't a bug in the rom).

This tutorial is for noob people like me who needs a clean, simple and secure way to achieve something more from their stock ROM phones.
No doubt the devs are doing magics with their images but probably there are many conservative people who want to stay with their original firmwares.
So here we go:
My phone was runnig RUU_Saga_HTC_Europe_1.28.401.1_Radio_20.28b.30.080 5U_38.03.02.11_M_release out of the box first. It was S-ON. I S-OFFed it using Alpharevx and then I rooted it with Gingerbreak 1.20. Then I decided to update the phone with the stock RUU_Saga_HTC_Europe_1.47.401.4_Radio_20.28I.30.085 AU_3805.06.02.03_M_release_199410_signed and I lost my root but the phone was still showing S-OFF. Rooting with Gingerbreak is not working on 1.47.xxx ROMs. I rooted it using 4EXTRecovery v2.1.0 FINAL and this file from http://unrevoked.com/rootwiki/doku.php/public/revolutionary
To install 4EXTRecovery v2.1.0 FINAL on a non rooted phone(thanks to madmaxx82 and .sh4d0w.):
1. Download and unzip on your PC the attached 4EXTRecovery v2.1.0 FINAL.zip file
2.Copy all 5 files to the C:\ directory of your PC.
3.Connect your phone to the PC(debug usb option activated) charge only
4.Run cmd to open console, point to the directory where you copied the files and type: adb reboot bootloader - device will boot into the bootloader
5.Type: fastboot flash recovery recovery.img
Done
After reboot you should have 4EXTRecovery installed available from recovery option on your hboot menu.
6. Copy to the root of your SD Card the file su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip which you can download from here
7.Go to the 4EXTRecovery > install from sd card and choose su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip
8.Done. After reboot you should have SUPERUSER installed and your phone is rooted again
To get Ad hoc wifi support:
9.Download and unzip the attached Ad hoc.zip file to your PC.
10. Install from 4EXTRecovery ADHOC.v2.zip file and reboot.
11.Copy and replace wpa_supplicant file to: /system/bin
(you can use file expert apk from the market to do that)
Done. You have an Ad hoc wi-fi support.
YOUR PHONE MUST BE S-OFF BEFORE TO START THIS PROCEDURE!!!
DO IT ON YOUR OWN RISK!
Good luck!
You can have a look here for double check: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=16171869&postcount=184
Just to be sure: does installing 4EXTRecovery or su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed wipe any data from you phone?
NO it didn't !
I did it last night and worked !
Phone remains untached. Just rooted

If I have ClockworkMod Recovery installed already then can I install 4EXTRecovery on top of that?
I don't think so. You better don't. But why do you need 4EXT once you have already CWM installed? I just shared one option to root 1.47.xx ROM which was not possible to do with Gingerbreak. If I have to remove CWM I would flash stock RUU. You will keep your S-OFF but will loose root. Then install 4EXTRecovery and proceed to root with the su-file. But maybe there is more elegant and time-saving way to do it. Just surch around the forum.

Uninstall all HTC drivers and HTC Sync from your PC. Download fastboot drivers available here and install them. Make sure your phone is with USB debug active, connect it to the PC(charge only) and you should be OK. After everything done you may install your HTC Sync again if you want.

But you have SuperUser installed so your phone is already rooted. What actually are you trying to do?
When I was installing the stock ROM I was using the drivers provided from the official HTC website. Before to succeed with flashing the RUU it gave me couple of times connection error and waiting for device. I tried with sync option and with charge option and it worked at the end. You can try that too. As far as I remember flashing the RUU was with USB debug OFF.

What is the problem with your wifi? Install the file expert apk from market. Open it and go to the place on your SD Card where you put the file wpa_supplicant. Copy the file and navigate to /system/bin and paste it - it will ask you to overwrite the existing file. Press ok and that's it. Make sure that you have installed the ADHOC.v2.zip file from recovery too.

thats because you dont have root and you have to flash the su-2.3.6.3-ef-signed.zip in the recovery to gain root access...
follow this simple guide:
1. Download the file su-2.3.6.3-ef-signed.zip from here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/attachment.php?attachmentid=670828&d=1311991644
2. Copy su-2.3.6.3-ef-signed.zip to your SD card root folder (main folder of your memory card)
3. Start clockworkmod recovery (instructions below. See To Start Clockwork recovery)
4. BACKUP YOUR ROM USING CWM BEFORE ATTEMPTING ROOT!
5. Navigate to "Backup & Restore" using the Volume Down button and press select (power button to select) then select "Backup"
6. Select "install zip from sdcard" after backing up
7. Then select "Choose zip from sdcard"
8. Then select "su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip"
9. Then select "Yes - install su-2.3.6.3-efgh-signed.zip" to confirm
10. Then go back
11. Then reboot.
12. You're rooted!
I've got s off and successful backup bus still no root...
I've followed the steps above to a "T" over and over with the same result. Every time I download this zip file and save it to the root of my phone's sd card. Then I open clockworkmod recovery mode on the phone, try to install the zip and all I get are when I open the SU-2 folder is more subfolders which clockworkmod tells me are empty. I've been working on this for days and can't figure out what I'm doing wrong to still not be rooted. What am I missing?
I say just follow the steps
revolutionary
superCID 11111111
PD58IMG of CWM to root of sdcard
bootloader(voldown + )
cwm installed
reboot
remove pd58 file
fastboot uncheck
poweroff
vol down+pwr
pick recovery
cwm
backup
flash custom rom that already has root
my two cents. this way was easier for me.
Great! It sounds like this will be helpful. Please forgive that i am a noob and I'm not familiar with the steps you just described.
1st. What is supercid 11111111?
2nd. It sounds like these steps are for installing CWM and creating a backup, which I have already done.
3rd. So you are saying that at this stage I can simply look for a custom rom that has root built in and flash it as is?
I appreciate the help and would benefit from any further explanation.
Thank you
ok so I've tried to install a custo rom - the latest leedroid- to see if it would work and I'm running into the same problem. I download the zip file, and then save the downloaded folder onto the root of my sd card. But whenever I go to install zip from sd card and select the file, all I get is subfolders. Where is the file I need to install for the custom rom? Am I doing something wrong? Is this because I'm using a mac?
My sd card is formatted properly, usb debugging is active, CWM seems to be working well enough, I don't get it.
Hi all,
This is an basic how to for reflashing a Stock-ROM.
I made this so the newbies can reflash their phone to stock after trying out any other awesome ROM.. And to prevent these questions in the threads!
REQUIREMENTS
Original Samsung Cable
Odin V4.43 (Click me!)
AriesVE.OPS (click me!)
Samsung Drivers installed ( Download and install Samsung KIES!)
Patience
'
STEP BY STEP GUIDE
You have downloaded Odin and AriesVE.ops (Yes?)
Great, lets get started!!!
First: Open the taskmanager on your computer (ctrl+alt+del). Go to "Processes" and search for:
Note: Samsung KIES has been updated to version 2.5
Code:
KIES.EXE
KIESPDLR.EXE
KIESTRAYAGENT.EXE
KIESAIRMESSAGE.EXE
Close all of these... :good:
Next: Download your ROM ( for stock ROM go to Samfirmware.com and make an account and search for GT-I9001) Download the correct ROM ( it is an .zip file so unzip it, if it's password protected the password could be samfirmware.com )
You can also download from here: http://samsung-updates.com/device/?id=GT-I9001#
For an easy way check this list: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2002171 (©Outerh3aven) here you can find every stock rom atm availeble.
Then: Open Odin, if your computer is running on Windows 7 or Vista select Odin and press the right mouse button in and select "Run as Administator"
Then: In odin select "One Package". In the line OPS you have to put AriesVE.ops, so click browse and search for the file.
Then on the bottom of Odin you'll see "One package" Select the StockROM you just downloaded.
Then: Turn off your phone and turn it on in Download mode ( Volume Down + Home + Power) and connect your phone to the computer.
You'll notice a yellow square with COMM(3)! and in the log you'll see Detected!! and Added!!
Simply pres START and grab a beer .
Your phone will reboot in recovery to finisch the job. After this it will reboot again and your phone is back to Stock. This proces takes time so be patience!!
Pro's:
- Stock so you have your warranty back :victory:
- Stable (only the launcher is not stable.. )
Con's:
- Full with bloatware
- No root and not able to use apps which require root
- No theming
- No OTA
- No ICS or JB
Some things that can happen during flashing:
- Odin gets stuck at Setup connection!!
> Just remove phone (you'll see FAIL!! dont worry!) remove battery for 10 sec and try again..
- Hang at boot
> Remove battery, turn your phone on in recovery and wipe cache and wipe data/factory reset
-Odin is not responding
> Dont do anything!!! Wait and see what happens!
Some advice:
When the flashing process gets stuck at System.img.ext4 download. Try it again for at least 2 times.
If that doesnt work for you. Flash BroodROM RC5.
You'll wonder why :silly:
Well, for some reason it fixes the partitions and after the installation of BroodROM RC5 your phone will reboot succesfully.
Hit thanks if you think it's usefull!!

ROOT SOLUTION AT #8 POST IN THIS THREAD
Click Thanks if i helped you
Hi, i try to root this phone and i don't found the way.
First of all, this is the phone info:
Hardware : MT6575
Model : TSD A93000
Build number : SJ_A952_A881_M00_S07_120827
Build date UTC : 20120827-095217
Android v : 4.0*
Baseband v: MAUI.11AMD.W11.50.SP.V10, 2012/07/03 17:10
Kernel v : 2.6.35.7 ([email protected]) (gcc version 4.4.3 (GCC) ) #1 Mon Aug 27 17:45:08 CST 2012
(if you need more info, only demand me)
* I think that this phone IS NOT Android 4.0 because tap-in several times in "setting→about the phone→Android version" show the Zombie Arts by Jack Larsson and also the kernel not belong to Android 4.0, for this think i doubt of the MT6575 processor, thereby, how can i be sure of this info? something apk you know?
When i connect phone (mode debbuging and unknow sources ON) at MTK Droid Tools last version, the software "not responding". I try to install several ADB drivers, but seems none work. The only way to "connect" is when MTKDroidTools is "not responding" i open a cmd window and kill the adb server with "adb kill-server", in this moment the MTKDroidTools stop and read the phone, in this moment i copy&paste the phone info up here. Anyone knows something about it?
1.Dowoad the file from the link below.
2. Then download Clockwork Mod Custom Recovery.
3. Then boot into recovery mode, and choose "install from SD Card".
4. Choose Clockwork mod recovery.zip, and it will boot you into a different recovery.
5. From that recovery mode you should be able to flash .zip files without signature verification.
6. Choose install zip from SD Card and choose SU Installer.zip.
Note:To unroot just flash SU Uninstaller.zip the same way you did to flash Installer.zip.
Downloads:
CWM Custom Recovery (Choose either Touch Recovery or Recovery for your device.):

hello, i have tha same smartphone, can you please write the tutorial in english as well ? google translate isnot something i trust for these procedures.
Also som questions:
Do you have the original rom so that if we brick the phove we can revive it via SpFlashTools? Have you managed flashing CWM recovery?
It is very cheap for its characteristics.
Back camera is most likely 2mp (or 3MP) and front 0.3 for sure. I tried resizing and i found that out . Still more than acceptable quality. I got Antutu score of 4500. It is really high for 6575, since my old 6575 could reach 3700 and my current 6577 gets 6800. I really apreciate that too.
dont really understand what is the real clock of the cpu. . Antutu says 19998.84mhz which is rather impossible for a 6575. Cpu spy as well cannot retrieve the frequency states.
checking the gps now

It would be very usefull for someone to post here the original rom so as to be flashed via SpFlashTools since it is 6575.
PS i dont own it now, i gave it to a friend but i m sure he will ask for my help soon, since i am the one who is aware about technology products...
Thank you anyway
I got really big problem with rooting that phone...
i did everything as this instruction says (that spanish one posted by nomerallo, using mgyun software)
and now some of the root checkers says that i do have root acces, and some of them says that i dont!(WTF!?)
And still programs that need root accesto work - doesnt work
and i cannot make root process again because program thinks that phone is already rooted (i cannot click on that ROOT option)
any ideas how to deal with it?
