Hi XDADevelopers!
I'm working on my Univiersity final project and I need to develop a device which will be paired with a Xperia S or a Galaxy Nexus via Bluetooth, so I need to know the following things:
Which is the maximum bitrate these devices can receive through bluetooth?, Does it depend on the android version?. I need to send aprox. 9600 bits/s
If you could please help me with this information or tell me where to find this, I would appreciate it so much.
Thanks!

Hi all
I have read alot about (headset/handsfree) but it seems
I dont understand the principle of compatibility
So here is my questions:
1/ Does the VH700 from Sony Ericsson work on galaxy S i9000 (both music and calls) ?
2/ What is the best BT headset avaliable for galaxy s i9000 ?
Thanks in advanced
Hi all,
I bought the MW600 bluetooth (http://www.amazon.com/Sony-Ericsson-Bluetooth-Stereo-Headset/dp/B003DQ1DCM) and everything connects fine. I can play, go to next track and back. I can even accept calls and change volume. The only thing I can't do is see the current track playing. This is the primary reason why I bought the device.
I'm sure that this device works with the intended phones (sony Ericsson) but is there anyway to have track title be displayed on the MW600?
Is there also anyway to display custom data? I think if the MW600 can't display the track titles, at least have some way to display any text (as a poc).
Thanks for reading.
Hello,
I've got a Sony Ericsson X10 Mini with a custom version of CyanogenMod 7 (Android 2.3.7). Since the CM7 RC0 release, the AVRCP 1.3 ( http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/AVRCP ) module was added in BlueZ (the Bluetooth stack in Android & Linux in general). So, if you install CM7 on your device, you'll get track name!
I also thought about display custom text/data on MW600, and I think that we need to emulate the stock/CM music player, because it's the only player who display track...
Unfortunatly, I haven't yet the skills to code an Android app to do that :/
Hope that's help, and sorry for my english
PS: on the original Sony ROM, the track name doesn't show (like all Android w/o CM yet
Hello guys,
my team is developing a streaming app. This app is fully working on Galaxy Ace (the target device), but we have problem with other devices.
The problem is the audio, because the only video app works great on other devices.
I want to help my developer, I have a mediacom tablet, and I want to help with debug.
But it seems it's not possible to run a debug configuration with just an apk, I should have the project instead.
There's an easy way to get a log message running the app from the device?
Maybe any hint for the audio streaming?
Sorry for bad english
Hello All -
Recently I cannot pair my YouTube in Android into my tv. My TV is Panasonic, and basically this TV is only able to connect to Internet, and browse. However, it doesn't have the luxury to have YouTube application.
I used to pair it by browsing to www.youtube.com/tv#/browse, and it will go to setting, and pairing setting.
I will be able to generate pairing code, and my Android - Note 3 can pair to TV. Hence, I can launch YouTube video from my Android.
Recently for some reason, it is no longer able to do it. If in TV, I browse to www.youtube.com/tv#/browse, it won't go to pairing YouTube setting, and it will only go to red blank screen with YouTube logo.
The question is whether you have the same experience like me, and encounter the same issue or not? If yes, what did you do to resolve the issue so that you can pair your TV with Android?
Kindly please ask your advice, and appreciate it much your thoughts
Thanks,
Cheers,
Hello All - Kindly please ask your thoughts, and much appreciated for the input.
I attached the screen that I got in the TV, and it doesn't change to the setting like it used to be.
Is this issue caused by TV? If you have any idea to solve it, or if you have any suspect for the root cause on this. Kindly please ask your thoughts, and much appreciated it.
Kindly please ask your thoughts,
Thanks, and cheers,
