My TF101 is completely stock, ICS .27, non-rooted. I decided to try to wipe it and start over, since I've installed/uninstalled countless apps.
When I try to reinstall the OS, it doesn't work. All I see is the Android robot with an orange triangle over his chest.
What has happened? Can anyone help me figure out how to fix this? I downloaded EasyFlasher, but can't find the ROM on ASUS's web site anywhere.
I'm inexperienced with Android ROMs, so if anyone can point me to step-by-step instructions, I'd appreciate it.
Thanks in advance!
Sam.
The rom is here in the forum.

Yeah, I missed the link in your message. That's the one I eventually found. Thanks again!
For windows you probably put it in apx mode (power+volume up screen goes black). I guess easy flasher should take care of the rest

ZIP File?
I found and downloaded the ROM, which was in a 7-Zip file. EasyFlasher wants to see a ZIP file. I extracted all of the files from the 7z file. Do I just repackage all of them into one ZIP file?

For Linux you just get wheelie and throw all the files in the stock folderr and just run the right script for your device sdk1 or sbk2

OK, now I'm really confused. Linux???
Here's what I have:
- I downloaded the ROM, which is named NVFLASH_ICS_9.2.1.27_US_NOROOT.7z
- Using 7zip, I extracted all files.
- I tried adding them all into a ZIP file named "ASUS Stock.zip, which appears to be what EasyFlasher is looking for.
- Ran EasyFlasher, and got the following:
Flashing Asus stock zip
>Extracting files.. please wait..
>Extracting blob archive..
ERROR! Blob wasn't extracted! Check your .zip file in AsusUpdate folder!
Make sure it is the original .zip that you downloaded from ASUS
>Extracting from blob...
>Cleaning up before flashing...
>Checking file sizes
>SOS size 0kb
>APP size 0kb
>EBT size 0kb
>LNX size 0kb
Done!
So, it seems that there's something about the ZIP file that EasyFlasher doesn't like.
Is there another tool that will let me re-flash the stock ROM without rooting?
I'm the wrong one to ask about windows flashing. If you have linux I know it can be done.

It's easy: install Total Commander -- in its main opening screen, you'll find a link to "Installed apps". From there, copy it to any folder or upload it to Dropbox or something. That's how I manage to sideload if I do not have Titanium Backup available on the other device.

Then you're not looking. Just Google NFL 2012 Pro APK...
Also, do you mean 2012 v1.1.0 or 2013 v1.1.8? Because I'm finding both.
I thought he was referring to to this app, which is just a news and score aggregate app. It also has ties into the NFL's Audio Pass. The link is for the US version.
If your talking about the 10 or so sites that pop up the first page of Google. They are bogus. They all bring you to adfly and the file doesn't work. They also want you to download load other apps. It's all a gimmick.

I got the apk off my phone and I uploaded to my dropbox. The APK itself will not work so there is 2 files you will need to download, APK itself and the cache file to get this game running.
link removed, need space on my dropbox
Run the game, it should say something about unsuccessful download or something just click retry. After the game is reload automatically it should run.

Sorry I don't know the answer to that as I don't have ZTE Warp device. I have only tested on ASUS TF700, and Galaxy Nexus.
But if the app closes due to the data download screen where you press OK to continue, then you have place the cache file wrong. It should be '/sdcard/Android/obb/com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftF3HM/main.118.com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftF3HM.obb'.
I've placed there do I need to extract?
Sent from my N860 using xda premium
The file I uploaded is in .rar format so... Yes you do need to extract it. As I stated above the file location should be just like - '/sdcard/Android/obb/com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftF3HM/main.118.com.gameloft.android.ANMP.GloftF3HM.obb'.

Yes, this is for unlocked and rooted, you must be on stock rom first (JB .23) before apply this update. Don't do the upgrade with custom rom. Here is how to:

If you're running cromi rom, just wait for a new version, should be release very shortly. If you are on others, you need to reflash full stock .23 then fastboot twrp then flash the upgrade or wait for the rom owner to release the upgrade version.
Thank you very much jkvato

Hi!
I pulled the nandroid backup from my phone and now I can't push it back. When using adb push, it does not finish the process on command prompt (I added a picture below).
When trying to restore the backup in CWM, it says ''md5 mismatch''. I reinstalled the original ROM (CM 11, KITKAT by thewhisp), but all my settings are gone and it's really frustrating to set it up again.
Do you have any idea how to fix this?

If you scroll down to *************************Most current version*****************************************
you can get the latest version install able via twrp.
This rom is from i708Q http://www.iviewus.com/index.php/i-708q.html
Our Ares 8 use 5.0 which has bad memory leak, the rom from i708Q doesn't have the leak problem, so it's a good match for our Ares 8, it's and upgrade plus fixes our tablets leak.
known problems
volume is low on speaker, head set sound is fine
camera doesn't work.
Those that want to try are more than welcome, I tried to find the easiest way for you all to install it, I installed long way myself and tablet runs great, I will just post short way here, I flashed my tablet's bootloader back to 5.0 to make sure this way works.
I have included a windows and Linux scripts, you should only need to set permission on Linux script and it should be good to go, I guess same for windows.
adb reboot bootloader
then launch the script, I just open terminal drag and drop script in terminal windows.
once done tablet should self boot, takes sometime to boot, commands can also be typed via hand if you rather not run script.

Here is twrp backup.
download, extract to twrp folder, factory reset and restore.
https://www.androidfilehost.com/?fid=24421527759885374
*************************Most current version*****************************************
This is the most updated rom, includes camera and rotation fix.
To install place on sdcard boot into twrp and install like a normal rom or zip file, doesn't contain root, you can flash chainfire su to get root.
Twrp may seem like it's not doing anything but it is installing rom, onced rom is installed you will see a button saying reboot to system, first boot takes a while.
I always start fresh and factory reset, it may or may not be needed you can try either way.
I can't find a solution to the sound being low, so it will remain that way unless someone else finds a solution and fixes it.
