I don't want to dampen your enthusiasm, but I tried one of these a few months back and while the idea is great and it works fine with certain devices, the shape of the TG01 back is such that it doesn't have a sufficient surface area in contact with the rubber pad to work. It is due to the slight curvature and also the raised ridge just to the side of the speaker port. Basically the coefficient of friction is too low and it gently slides off.
It is better (but not perfect) turned landscape; you might improve by gently removing the platic ridge, but I decided not to mess about and returned the item.
Da-i-jo-u-bu! (no problem) as they say here in Japanese-o-land!!
K... you have got a point there, thanks man, so I got the black silicone case for the TG01 from http://www.amazon.co.uk/BLACK-SOFT-...1?ie=UTF8&s=electronics&qid=1276388504&sr=1-1. The back should be now relatively flat, I really appreciate your advice, I don't think I would have picked up on that. I assume with the silicone that it will be more sticky too. I plan on only having the device in portrait on my desk, I will let you all know of any issues if I have any, I will post some pics of the device in the cradle on my desk. I also ordered a right angle micro USB plug-in for my device so it doesn't look strange on my desk. The angled plug-ins are looking really cool, have a look on eBay, just search for "angle micro usb" and you will have about 4 different types of angled USB plug-ins. I think that having an angled adapter will make the device look really sharp sitting on the cradle rather than having this cord stick 5 inches outta the side of the machine.

OOOOOOOOO HEY .. I got something better!
Gotta love em Chinese guys, they copy everything n' sell it fer 20 times less. EHHEHEHE.. Check it out, go on eBay, search for "usb cellphone stand" or just click on the long search link here and you can buy the item for like a couple of bucks with free shipping. It doesn't have the memory cards reader, but who needs em' anyways!

This kind of gadgets usually are:
1) Rubbish
2) No bad for it's price
This one seems a good idea. Give us your review when received!!
Nice day
Thought this might be a decent thread to help poeple buying their TF700s and grabbing some goodies while they are at it. So here's what I bought. Will put up some reviews once they get here. Everything bought (and linked) through Amazon.
Digitl Car Mount - The type that you use a seat bolt to attach.
$24 + $6 shipping
Garbage, Didn't fit properly and wobbled everywhere. Returning.
Poetic 3-Pack Screen Protector - These are for the TF300, but as pointed out by Mech, they should work fine.
$15
Great fit, slightly small, but this makes it alot easier to apply then ones that are the eact size.
TF700 Tablet
$534 shipped
Love It
Sandisk 32 Gb Micro SD card
$20
Exactly as advertised. Comes in non-retail packaging.
HDMI TO MINI D HDMI cable

Do you have the roo Case in yet and are using it? I am curious to the fit, because I also would like to use this same case for my TF700. Thank you for posting this info for us.

Yea man, it was really bad. It's basically a RAM Mount knock off, but it has a single flemsy bolt down piece. The holes were all too small to fit the seat bolt through and had to use a smaller bolt. The arm it'self wobbled and swayed and the jaws to hold the tablet were too small to even fit the tablet. Seemed like a great deal at $20, but was too good to be true. I'll probably go look at what ProClip has thought up as far as positioning tablets in my truck and just make one.
Hi,
i was looking to get a messenger style bag that would fit and protect my TF700 but couldn't find much information so i thought it would be a good idea to list the items that do fit it.
Personnaly after some online search i decided on STM's iPad Scout 2.
The bag is really thought for an iPad so the TF700 doesn't fit perfectly (see attached pictures), you might want to get the XS Scout 2 (for 11" laptops) if that's an issue for you, but i wanted a vertical bag (the XS holds the unit horizontally).
But i'm happy with it, the device fits with or without the dock and the bag is the perfect size for me (holds in addition to TF700 a kindle, small notepad, keys, pens and a few small items).
FYI the bag was 46.94 GBP with european shipping included, or $44 on amazon.com.
I own this bag Mobile Edge vertical messenger bag
I like it a lot. There's room for my 13" laptop and my TF700, plus a bunch of other stuff.
Another beautiful three - http://www.gojistyle.com/sleeves/102_inch.aspx and http://www.mobileedge.com/slimline-ultrabook-tablet-folding-tote.html and http://www.bonecollection.com/en/products/detail/ipag/
Yes, not exactly for TF700 but seems to fit the tablet + dock
I use, and really like the Case Crown Messenger Bag. 4.4 stars out of 53 reviews on Amazon. $32.19 with free prime shipping, a little expensive IMO but it fits very well (dock on/off or dock stowed separately and there's compartments to keep the tab and dock apart so nothing is getting scratched), has a few pockets for accessories and is well made. I've used a few messenger style bags and this is by far the best one I've found.
I found this, http://www.ebay.com/itm/SUGEE-Moder..._Accessories&hash=item4169697d23#ht_963wt_932

Hmm, new ebay seller with 0 feedback and this bag is $32.99 and coming from Hong Kong? The bag itself looks decent, but not worth it for the way slow shipping and risk...
I've been using this one by Targus. It's made for the iPad, but it fits my tablet with keyboard perfectly, and is a great little gadget bag.
I use a generic 10.1 inch tablet, inland, microfiber sleeve I got at fry's for 2 bucks on one of their sales. Anything can work really.
Sent from my ASUS Transformer Pad TF700T using xda app-developers app
Mobile Edge Edge Netbook ScanFast for 13"
I'm pretty happy with this one. I had a laptop bag, but it heavy and bulky. In addition to being trim (thinner than it looks in the pictures, actually), this one has the most comfortable gel-filled strap ever.
Nappolo Cumana
I second the Targus Citygear bag. The infinity fits perfectly, and you have room for a legal pad, charger, pens, phone, etc. It's not so large that you may as well have a backpack or a full-size messenger bag, but it has ample space for everything I need, and has padding for protection. I picked mine up on amazon (prime eligible!) for $23.43.
Am using a small suitable for 7-10.2inc netbooks/tablets, its Case Logic VNA210 Black... (can't provide link becoz of insufficient posts, but Google is your friend )
I paid around 24 Dollar (+/- 20 Euro) and it easily can handle more then one tablet, or combination, tablet or tablet with dock or other stuff like external harddrive (in my case it holds a WD My Passport 500GB in the small front space) and there plenty of space left for other small stuff like extra SD cards etc....
kind regards,

:good: This one as well. Been using it for about 1.5 years now (got it with my XOOM in March, 2011). Perfect fit, travels well, plenty of pockets for phone, keys, etc.
It's my daily driver.

Thanks for posting this. Have you or anyone else looked at the STM Stash? http://www.stmbags.com.au/catalog/laptop-bags/stash-iPad/
I like the STM style and functionality but the closure on this Scout looks strained by the TF700 and I'm worried the velcro won't hold after a while.
So after reading around various other older threads and using my google-fu, I came to the realization that if there was a specific desk-dock (not to be mistaken with the lapdock [has its own thread] or the vehicle dock) for the A2, that it was already long gone from the market. What I was able to find however is that there are still plenty of 89511N and 89512N available out there.
The Motorola HD Dock is currently $18 w/free shipping for Prime. It has an HDMI port.
The Motorola HD Station Dock is currently $30 w/free shipping for Prime. It has an HDMI port as well as 3 USB ports.
These are the only 2 'desk' docks that I know for certain are compatible with the A2. The Bionic dock, while compatible in terms of function, just looks plain awkward, and at least in my case, trying to reverse the cables just left me with a non-functional dock.
Also available is the Motorola Atrix 2 Vehicle Navigation Dock, also at $30 w/free shipping for Prime.
I'll keep my eyes peeled for other A2 'dock deals' and post them here as I see them.
Thanks for the effort.
I wanted to Buy HD Station (with Remote), it is not available on Motorola website and Amazon is selling it for $ 105.
can you use your Google-Fu skills and get good deals
I built my own dock with a nice piece of wood and a router attachment on a Dremel. Just routed out a groove and beveled the edges nicely, then drilled a hole in the right spot for the a usb cable to stick up and sealed it in with epoxy.

Will do when i get home later!
I have to say that I would have made some modifications doing it again, mainly in my choice of wood. what i used was way to hard and was extremely difficult to route out, causing some burning.
Cheapest I could find at this point was Micro Center for $72.99, but only available in store. Otherwise, yeah, eBay and WalMart both have it for 105, as you noted. The model number for that specific one is 89522N.
While watching ebay a few days ago i found this lapdock for the original Atrix , they usually go for $50 used! so this one is going for almost $16 with $2.99 S & H and its brand new in the box! there is 9 hours left on this auction yet,but here is the product # 230975680637 for any one who is interested.
Modding one of this puppies was fun and a great addition to my A2.
I just bought (in Italy) the tablet Asus Zenpad 3s 10 LTE (Z500KL) but no genuine accessories seems to be available on the market.
Do you know where I can find the ASUS Z Stylus or any compatible one with same functionality and fit?
Or which characteristics I should look for in a compatible stylus (i.e. capacitive, resistive, inductive etc.)?
I'm also looking for Asus Folio Cover or any other cover with custom shell for Z500KL.
Thanks in advance for help!
Marce
Hi,did you find any compatible stylus?I placed the order for the tablet some days back.Disappointed to see that the Z stylus is no longer available.
I can vouch for this 2-pack of capacitive styl-..styluses-...styli-..sty...stylusseses...
I can vouch for this capacitive stylus design; it comes in a 2pack ($15)
capacitive=passive, universal (like the ****s of conductive rubber that come attached to pens, but like different material and on steroids)
amazon /MEKO-Universal-Precision-Capacitive-Replacement/dp/B00N1BRWLA/
they have a stubby end which is very very responsive but not very accurate for writing (if you write small like i do)
and they have a plastic end with a disk on it, with a piece of metal that has a thin layer of plastic over it, and touches via proximity, you can see exactly what the point is drawing when you're using this end, but it can be a little unresponsive
(i accualy took a nail file to the plastic tip and sanded down so the metal gets closer to my screen, and it started working g r e a t )
ASUS also makes a capacitive stylus with the plastic disk tip. comes without the microphone-like end, and comes in a one-pack tho ($15)
amazon /Transformer-BoxWave-FineTouch-Capacitive-Precise/dp/B00TUPRFP4/
as far as active stylusesesyli go, there are a few zenpad ones on amazon for like $200, which hecking sucks, i'm really sorry. have you checked the compatibility of the ASUS pen? ($50)
amazon /Asus-Active-Stylus-Silver-90NB0000-P00100/dp/B01LYQEREB/
how about the wacom bamboo pen? this is another good generic microsoft-compatible active stylus. ($66)
amazon /Wacom-Windows-Touchscreen-Devices-Surface/dp/B076VQB8DQ/
also the BETOP surface pen is a very good microsoft-compatible active stylus ($40)
amazon /dp/B0716LK55W/
i really hope this helps! it's super hecked that ASUS still sells zenpads but no z stylus. you technically CAN buy a z stylus on amazon, but it's like a dang collectors item ($200+)
amazon /Stylus-ZenPad-Z580CA-Z300C-Z500M/dp/B014D6K38U/
also probably the highest rated active stylus that's in the lowest price range is the zspeed, which is rechargeable (bonus over most others listed here) and has a durable but not scratchy metal tip, assuming you don't drop it on concrete or something ($30)
amazon /Zspeed-Precision-Android-Samsung-Tablets/dp/B01LWJZ2JX/
I really hope that this list helped you decide! there are T O N S of options for you, and i wish there was a way for me to time travel and get you that Z stylus!
xx kendall
This place sells z stylus for a normal $37.00. I just ordered one, let's see how it goes. Link bellow,
