Xperia J
The problem of Xperia 2012, no solution so far for Bootloader Unlock Allowed: No.
I admit it's tricky. but I trust in the minds of brilliant developer.
I think the users of xperia J are forgotten by developers. only root my Xperia J the moment.
and has not been developed CWM specific for Xperia J - Bootloader locked.
In order completely abandoned by developers. not to mention ROM with kernel stook to Bootloader locked.
miss my Xperia ARC S. :crying:

Not if your phones branded the carrier locks away fastboot to protect the sim lock certificate

Ive been curious about fastboot.. :confuse: what does fastboot do, what do we do about it??

Fastboot is a mode to beable to flash img files like custom kernels which are needed for custom roms like fxp. Sony lock the bootloader ( to protect there drm security keys I think) there fore locking away fastboot. Then if your xperia device is branded ( simlocked to a certain network) they put another block in place to protect the certificate. Without being able to gain access to fastboot your stuck with Sony's stock rom.

Hi there,
I'm not sure of unlocking the bootloader of my Tipo, cos the last time I installed a custom ROM (Paranoid), my mobile died and fortunately I've recoved it using Update Service.
Now I want to install JB (Pure CM+: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2284432) but I need some help and don't wanna lost the money!
Thanks in advance
to unlock bootloader you must downlad SE bootloader unlocker, install fastboot drivers from its folder, type your imei and press unlock bootloader....very simple

Unlocking bootloader is not dangerous, installing custom kernels might be.

Thanks for the reply. Are custom rom with J will fit into E? And the second question is whether to install the official rom that need to have unlocked bootloader or not ?
To install official Rom via pc companion , you will need a locked bootloader otherwise you will brick your device
Official updates can be installed via Emma the official Sony flashtool or androxyde flashtool if u have a locked Or unlocked bootloader
And about roms
I have never tried.. I don't wanna try either
Because I can't raise enough fund for a new device if I brick my phone

[Q] [Suggesttion] Could we port a CWM to Xperia E!

Hi!
I have an idea which could work (possibly ), if we (someone) can port a cwm that is made for another device for locked bootloader like Xperia Z then could we successfully make it work. This works on a locked bootloader because instead of installing cwm on the boot partition as you would normally do with an unlocked bootloader, you would install it on the system partition.
You can do this for many other devices so could some devs possibly port cwm.
Thanks!
Nice !!. I am looking for exactly this... Please devs try something please!
HIT THE THANKS BUTTON IF I WAS OF ANY HELP
