[Q] mouse n keyboard - Transformer TF300T Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

so i like playing games on my tf300t and i would like to play fx dead trigger with mouse or controller. to do that you need to root and i dont want to root becouse rooting breaks warranty, is there any way arround this? or can someone come up with a alternative
any help appreciated.

If you have the keyboard dock try plugging a usb mouse into it on the right side. Otherwise maybe a blue tooth mouse and keyboard. I think the real problem is that the apps aren't designed for that type of input.

[Q] TF300T Keyboard mouse gaming mod?

has anyone created, found or produced a keyboard mouse gaming mod? With the advent of the TF300T keyboard docking station which allows me to use a standard mouse through the USB port and it's own built in keyboard, being able to do this would be cool. Anyone know?
I'd also be interested in this, or something close to it.
I'm using a Logitech M600 touch mouse through the USB port on the TF300T keyboard dock, and it recognizes a left-click and the scrolling motion, but nothing else. It'd be great if there was a way to customize mouse inputs.

Type Cover can't handle mouse and keyboard simultaneously

I'm not sure if it's just my cover or not but any time I am typing something the trackpad disables itself. While this is fine when making documents, it really sucks when trying to play games on it. If I hold down wasd to move I can't look around due to the trackpad being disabled. Is there a setting or registry tweak to fix this or is this just how the type cover works?
Wow, I never even realized that it does that. I will keep an eye out and let you know if I see or hear anything to bypass it.

Same here. If a key is being held, the trackpad stops responding until the key is lifted.
did any of u try this with a bluetooth mouse?
Using a separate mouse works fine (Bluetooth or usb). The problem comes from the built in trackpad on the typecover keyboard itself.
It's one of only two issues I have with it (the other being the infamous Fn problem)
ahh kk i dont have any worries i despise touchpads

This is by design, it is to prevent your palms causing the mouse to move while typing. It is implemented in the driver, and isn't user configurable at this time.

Makes sense. It would be nice to be able to disable that though.
I have a bluetooth mouse which I bought for the Surface(the Wedge) but it would be great to be able to play games with the type cover on quick trips instead of having to carry around the mouse.

Mouse and Keyboard on Your Phone

Obviously tons of people use mouse and keyboard on their Android Tablets. It is much more comfortable typing and navigating using mouse and keyboard. That nice big screen makes it feel much like a computer.
I use them all the time on my phone. I sit at a desk for a good portion of my day. I can setup my phone on a stand, hook up my mouse and keyboard, and I have it at easy access without having to pick it up or really break away from my work position. I have my headset hooked up to it so if I get a call or anything, I'm right there to answer it.
Does anybody else out there use a mouse and keyboard on their phone? If not, have you considered it?

Ipega 9023 on my Nvidia tablet K1 device

@ android 6..1 latest
I am trying to play RTS games via gamestream on my laptop to my Nvidia tablet using the ipega controller.
Now it does work and im reasonably happy though i suppose it will get some getting used to.
I am using the Keyboard and Mouse mode. While controlling the game with the analog sticks and gamepadbuttons function as mouse buttons.
But i am wondering to try some other things.
Can I for example increase/decrease sensitivity of the analog sticks functioning as the mouse?
Or increase/decrease the acceleration of the pointer/analogstick..
Would be great if you can fiddle around with it.
Also one other thing I really want changed is the keyboard mode. Some default keys are mapped to the keyboard mode of the Ipega 9023.
Now ofcourse I want to use specific buttons for the game itself and switch between keyboard and mouse mode as I play my RTS.
But how would I do this? There is no documentation on this... which is annoying.
I also heard about Tincore. I installed it and it sees my controller, but not sure if this app can do what i want and how I would do this...
Also have the software from the ipega company called android gamepad center. I started it but im not sure what this software does.
EDIT:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-okXI-BM52Q
From around 1:40 - 2:00 you see him starting the android gamepad center. If I do it like this like him, the gamepad center screen doesn't change, At my screen it just keeps saying connect blue tooth controller.
It would be interesting aswell to create virtual buttons on the screen so i could controll the game via touch screen.
Hope someone can help me on this. Thanks
Bump. Anyone have the ipega9023?

Yes you can use a cheap air mouse with keyboard cheaper than magic mouse but some keys are missing or not working :
Home, Back, guide, 3D, parameters, device, colors keys
You can also use a keyboard with touchpad
