Well u download that 10f file make sure its. Kdz and not a did file type cuz I downloaded one that unzipped into. Tot instead of kdz then u download LG flasher or something. Google it its simple man u just flash the kdz... are u on 10i?,

dear both, i am also stuck in v10i lol..but i found the way out..i am trying but i think its not going to work..TOT files can be flashed by a tool called "LGNPST" .. first you need to download lgnpst store & Lab version..then download lgnpst components & Generic support models..all these files are individaul .exe files..
in order to flash tot files you must have the specific dll & tot file (rom).
register your dll by typing :
cmd: regsrv32 (your_dll_file.dll) (i failed on this step..)
after that restart your pc, open lgnpst tool & Flash..
let me know if you got sucess..

Well, technically once you download everything I think you can do the kdz method(i think you download everything beforehand, and then use that method?) but I've never used that method or read over it. Lg's update tool needs a constant data stream. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.

get proc address error (127) is what KDZ updater is giving me when i am trying to flash my LG optimus p504 back to original ROM. It was stuck in emergency mode because i tried to update it to 2.3.3 with p509 roms. But now i am getting that error.
Does anyone have a idea why it is doing this!
It would be awesome b/c i would really like to use this phone again!

and nothing. Since its stuck in emergency mode i cant back up my NV so the program doesnt allow me to proceed with out it. then i followed a tut to try to trick the program but that didnt work either.
is there another another idea?

Well before u for thru the trouble of directing me...... it is ics OK I got it during Dec it was on v10f OK I updated before I knew bout rooting I think I found 10f I was thinking I could flash the kdz... I'm new just saying what I've read.... the v18 rooting method reboots my phone but no root or super user just says mounted permissions denied (are you root?) Bin4ry says its not supported then I read... I didn't talk to him... OK but v10f is the version of the LG p870 or LG escape ... I used the 1.2 download mode just Like ppl who have my phone did I went by everything its just the 10i and it was a hard time finding the old firmware its downloading now... what do u think or is that a dif. Method

Hmm.... man its the only file I found for the phone.... I hope its right... I really want siaxix controller.... and to b able to use my phone ad a mouse and keyboard for my ps3 Wichita I need a root to do.... I'm so close I feel like to doing it.... The root scripts run on my phone but the last update fixed the vunarability so I am hoping by flashing down if all goes well I won't have the "mounted: permissions denied (are you root?)" Its the only error everything pushs Im guessing to a temp file when it says moving file to there places is when I get the mounted thing

Hello!!!good day to all
I have a p3100 runing an OTA v4.1.3
And i just want to root it so i use P3100_CWM-6.0.2.7_SUPERSU-0.99_BUSYBOX-1.20.tar.md5
I flash it using ODIN via pc
Everything works fine except
1. v4.1.3 become 4.1.2
2. One battery(root) when i lock my phone it turn to black and when i unlock it there is no response..so i nee to reboot it again(so i just uninstall it)
3.when i try to update it via OTA..the responce is device modified
I use triangle away and it works also fine except
1.when updating OTA i take 12 hours checking for update and after 12 hours the responce is always checking for update..i just quit updating
My question is will i be able to recieve OTA update again?
Im stuck on 4.1.2 while my device before is 4.1.3?
Ps. Can someone provide me a flashable 4.1.3 using ODIN pc...

Edit: err wait sorry those were for p3113, the p3100 should boot 6.0.2.7.
So, you flash recovery 6.0.2.7 and it won't boot into recovery after you flash with Odin?
Done flashing 6.0.2.7 OTA update still takes long time and same as checking for update for long period of time so i stop quit updating

There was never 4.1.3. And if there was root cannot "downgrade" it. And you dont need to use OTA updates. Just look on samsung-updates.com and check for updates.

So i guess i wass wrong..but i think there was .3 in there..if i flash the karnel of 4.0.3 on my device downloaded at samsung update, will my device start working as 4.0.3 as it is normal and will still recieve ota update??thank you for the help

Well if you want to recieve OTA updates you must flash a stock frimware intended for your country like if you are in USA flash A USA frimware !!
All flashing methods of stock roms are involved into odin a special program to flash samsung devices !!!

Download file is in zip archive you must extract the folder in this folder you have something like xxxxxx.tar.md5 use this firmware to flash.

Yeah ive read about it but its the only method which works for me everytime once got it bricked though, was lucky to get back to life
This time also got a bootloop but after removing the battery and putting it back made it work

flash oldest custom rom that you find and update after with LG Suport Tool to stock 2.2.2 , that will make your phone stock withaout custom recovery or anything else, download from LG site that tool, and 2.2 or 2.2.1 roms you can find in development, something really old
or downgrade to old bb and upgrade with same LG Suport Tool
