[Q] Unable to Hard Reset on CM 10.1 /w Encryption - Verizon Samsung Galaxy S III

EDIT: Screw it. Odining stock and seeing what happens. *shrugs*
So if anyone points me towards an existing thread. I did search. CyanogenMod Hard Reset, CM Hard Reset, CM can't reset, etc. If there is something out there I missed. Sorry.
ANYWAYS! So I want to get off of Cynanogenmod. Right now my system is encrypted. So I figured I need to get that removed before I ODEN back to stock. I go into Backup & Reset -> Factory Data Reset. It reboots, has the green android with the spiny icon in its stomach for about 10 seconds, reboots, and nothing happens. It prompts me to get past encryption, and back into CM. No reset.
Also it won't allow me to decrypt in CM either.
I'm currently on 10.0.0-d2vzw \ Kernel 3.0.48 -cyanogenmod-ge67063c
I tried upgrading to the latest and greatest nightly under about. I download it successfully the system reboots, it goes into clockworkMod v6.0.1.2 and I get the following
Finding Update Package...
E: Can't mount/sdcard/cmupdater/cm-10.1-20130115-NIGHTLY-d2vzw.zip

I: Can't partition non-vfat: datamedia
I: Can't partition unsafe device: /dev/block/mmcblklpl
I: Can't format unknown volume: /emmc
Soooo! I go boot into clockwork mod, select factory reset and get
Formatting /data
Error mounting /data!
Skipping format...
Formatting /cache
formatting /sd-ext...
formatting /sdcard.android_secure...
error mounting /sdcard.android_secure...
skipping format...
Data wipe is complete.
So I can't wipe a drive if its encrypted?!? HELP! Any ideas? Might I be able to ODEN over this with the factory image or is there a corruption that might brick my system?!

Are you able to ODIN back to stock?
Sent from my Santa Cruz Blur LT
clean dalvik cache, and cache reboot
I'm having the same problem in this thread. I tried using ODIN to go back to stock but it still hangs. I accidentally tried flashing a ROM in CWM untop of an encrypted sdcard. I think the sdcard is encrypted and preventing me to flash over...is that possible? Is there anything I can do to fix it and get back into the phone?

[Q] GT-P6800 can't mount data, boot loop after failed to root ICS

I have problem with my Galaxy Tab 7.7 GT P6800. It run ICS inside and I rooted it using the method from this link http://forum.xda-developers.com/show....php?t=1756304. I had followed the procedure but in the rooting process, it kept moving up to the top (in the options menu) and forced to close. Afterwards, it went boot loop. I had tried to reinstall ICS through Odin, it passed but still boot loop. I rooted the tab with CWM, tried to format data and sd card from CWM-based recovery v6.0.3.0 (in mounts and storage menu option), installed some ROMs (with kernels inside), still the problem persists. My tab was protected with sliding password and I don't know if this could affect to this device problem. I can access to CWM recovery but after do flashing it goes back boot loop. This is the message i get from show log (in CWM):
CWM-based Recovery V6.0.3.0

It had been brought to repair service but they gave up. Is there anything I can do myself to get this issue fixed? Your help is really appreciated. Thank you.

N8013 - I think my partition is totally borked

I attempted to flash a new rom Sunday and I've been attempting to fix various bootloops since then. I've conducted many many flashes -- of many many roms .. and I think now, I've totally hosed my partitions. (And would really really appreciate some sage advice).
I have a GT-N8013 - Samsung Galaxy Note 10.1 (wifi only).
My most recent flash: Used Odin 3.07 to flash N8013UEUCMA3_N8013XARCMA3_XAR.zip (I believe it is a stock image - slightly modified)
And I have have "High on Android" recovery mod.
System boots logo1 (samsung galaxy note 10.1) and freezes. -- I can access both download mode and recovery mode.
In recovery mode - I have attempted to data wipe/factory reset - wiped cache - wiped dalvik. None of this has any affect. Looking at the 'show log' I see some fairly scary messages:
failed to mount /dev/block/mmcblk0p3 (invalid arguments)
Error mounting /efs!
using /data/media for /sdcard
can't partition non-vfat: datamedia
can't partition unsafe device /dev/block/mmcblk7p1
can't format unknown volume: /emmc
Thank you for your help.

Yes I agree ..and I am currently in the process of following the steps this guy used: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2111485
What about the non-vfat datamedia and /emmc messages though?
Ok .. seems I've made some progress. Using HoA recovery - I installed the firmware at arizzle.com: N8013-UECIK8-ARCLK8-XAR-deodexed.zip
I flashed it because it seemed like the easiest way to get Busybox put on the device (I wasn't seeing any clear instructions on how to get busybox).
After installing the rom however, the /efs errors went away. (I'm currently looking up a adb / android shell command to verify that efs is in fact there).
So the only errors the log file is showing now are:
I: using /data/media for /sdcard.
I: Can't partition non-vfat: datamedia
I: Can't partition unsafe device: /dev/blockmmcblk1p1 (this changed -- used to be blockmmcblk7p1)
I: Can't format unknown volume: /emmc
I do get one other suspicious message when I try to clear Dalvik cache:
E: unknown volume for path [/sd-ext]

E:failed to mount /preload (no such file or directory)

I just bought this Note 4 and I am doing a factory reset but I get this error when I choose wipe data/factory reset.
My phone shows as follows
-- preload checkin...
E:failed to mount /preload (No such file or directory)
Data wipe complete.
The phone is wiped and it seems to operate normally, but this error bugs me, anyone have any ideas? My assumption from looking around the web is that this phone has been rooted before, if so how do I reset things back to factory? How can I tell if it's still rooted?
FYI, I have updated to Lollipop and I am familiar with using ODIN. Once again this is a Note 4.
Thanks in advance...
