I'm considering buying an extended battery. What's the best place to get one from (based off personal experiences)?
Search in the accessories section, there's a thread for the nexus extended battery from sprint. I did what it said and got mine for $7.22.
If you look towards the end of the thread I posted some pics on how to modify it so it'll fit inside the stock skyrocket battery cover.

Ok - I just stumbled across something on ebay.
One seller is suggesting (I think) that a Nokia BL5c battery works with the Desire?
htxp://cgi.ebay.co.uk/WORLDWIDE-BATTERY-TRAVEL-CHARGER-KIT-FOR-HTC-DESIRE_W0QQitemZ350340077535QQcmdZViewItemQQptZUK_AudioTVElectronics_PDAsAccessories_PDACharger?hash=item5191e557df#ht_4597wt_1167
Anyone shed any light on this?
Hmm, not sure about a nokia battery in the Desire. If sources are to be believed it uses the same battery as the Nexus One. A quick (albeit not very thorough) google search on the battery listed in the ebay add suggests it's around 1100mAh? That's less than the Desire's original battery capacity. You can get a 1600mAh battery from Seidio - available from mobilefun - they have a good track record with non-OEM batteries:
http://www.mobilefun.co.uk/seidio-innocell-extended-life-battery-htc-desire-p24215.htm
This fits in the same space as the current one. There is an even greater extended battery (3200mAh) however requires a new battery compartment door, and as it's marketed for the nexus one there is no desire door as yet (plus IMHO negates the point of having such a beautiffuly slim phone...
If you need all the charging bits, then go ahead and buy from the listing - though I'd be wary about putting such a cheap battery in my expensive new phone... Alternatively, invest in a nice retractable microUSB sync cable and you should be able to find USB charging sources around, or travel with any USB-power outlet adaptor.

it´s same the battery of nexus and htc desire ?¿?¿
Nexus One battery = Desire battery
Same part number; BA-S410 (HTC) 1400mAh.

ok thanks, are you sure ?¿?¿
Yes, sure. As I said, same part number from HTC. Both phones made by HTC. Also another forum member in a different thread bought the Nexus One Seidio battery and used it in desire without issue.
If you go for the extended Seidio (1600mAh) make sure not to go for the 3200mAh option - as you will NOT fit the back cover on the phone.

anyone got the 1600 mah one yet?

Mobilefun said they will let me know when its in stock. i've pre ordered mine. should get it next week.
I'm looking for an upgrade to the stock battery. Found some 1950s on eBay. What's the best upgrade without needing a new battery cover?
We got 3 of the 1950 batteries on eBay and they have been great so far.
(You might have someone move this to accessories sub forum btw)

I've had my Galaxy S 4G for several months now, and recently the battery life has lessened during daily use.
I originally used a 1700mAh genuine Samsung battery (forgive me it may have been 1650), but switched over to some backup batteries I have that are 1500mAh.
The 1500's don't have the same life, so I'd like to buy something better.
I found a 2000mAh on eBay, but would that require a new battery door? The seller does not indicate the battery size. Is it possible to get a 2000mAh battery for my 4G S that is the same size as the original battery?
Any suggestions and response are appreciated. Thanks! - Jamie
as far as I know, there's only one fairly decent battery that will fit your phone as is. and that would be the 1800 mAh battery. there's a thread about it in the accessories section, you should look it up
Thanks for your suggestion. Doesn't seem to be the sort of question many want to answer.
They sell 1800mAh batteries on eBay for 2.99, so I think its worth a shot. I just don't want to get a battery that requires a new door, or makes my phone thicker.
Just saying, you get what you paid for. Honestly, IMO you should try to get the OEM samsung battery for the epic 4g touch, or ankler 1800mAh batteries. there was a battery thread somewhere around the vibrant accesories board which someone tested a bunch of batteries, and a lot of the cheaper off-brands had a lower mAh rating than advertised
We shall see. I actually ended up ordering a 2000mAh off eBay for 11.49. The battery was listed as a fit for my phone. I have actually had some good experience in the past buying third-party batteries, specifically for Motorola phone, but, I've also had poor experiences buying knock-off batteries for blackberries that were packaged to look like the genuine thing.
I'll post back, maybe in a week or so when the battery is delivered and I test it.
any good extended batteries for this phone?

Going to ask the same thing. I know there was some, but im wondering if they are all sold out by now, the infuse is forgotten by the manufacturers lol.
Google Infuse Extended Battery immediately shows 5 sets $13 to $30. Each includes a battery and a replacement cover (the battery is too big to fit without replacing the cover).
One problem is you'll have a hard time finding a case to fit.
Lots of info on this forum - search "extended" in title or 3500 in title.
(I'm not trying to knock, anyone down about searching, just pointing in the direction of the info I know about)
Check eBay. They have 3500mah batteries.

I got a 2100mah for my infuse wich is an upgrade from the 1750mah stock one and is still the same size so no bigger back cover and can still use my ballistic. Adds about 4 to 8 hours on my phone on normal use. Was a quick drain at first but after about 10 full drain and full charche the battery woke up and began getting WAY better

Hi guys
I was looking for replacement batteries for my Galaxy s5 active
I found the OEM, of course:
http://www.ebay.com/itm/112007844601
It has 2800 mAh
Then I found this one
http://www.ebay.com/itm/261585921173
A generic "Best4Power" that claim to have 5380mAh, 2580 more than the original, in the SAME battery size.
What do you guys think? could it be too good to be true?
It's fake. If you're lucky it MIGHT be 3500mAh.
Don't bother looking for batteries that claim to be higher capacity that are the same size as the original Samsung battery. Alternatively you could always have a second battery and charge it directly using a pug in battery charger. Or another option is try the mutagen batteries but be warned they can be pretty expensive.
I see, I ended up buying a couple of OEM batteries. Thanks guys, thread can be locked.
If you maximum battery, check with Zerolemond to see if your phone will be compatible with the S5 series. I have been using their extended battery in my S5 since last August and it is working just fine. My wife, who has the same S5 and standard battery, has had to replace her already. I have their battery on my S5 and S4 with a backup purchase if my S5 battery finally dies.
I replaced mine with an original one, maybe not very good autonomy but I'm satisfied
dude, theres no way the "OEM" one is real. 9ish dollars is too cheap. I've seen some pretty good looking fakes. But there are a few ways to spot the difference. depth of contacts, having an NFC antenna, having engraving when the cover is peeled off, size of the metal part (can only tell when the cover is peeled off), general external quality and details are a few quick ways to tell. Bought one last week that was not a bad looking fake. But still fake nontheless. Nervous about putting it in my phone so just got a refund.
Better buy it a original then fake crap thats what i did.
