Is it possible to use the TF300T as kind of a drawing board to use on my PC? - Transformer TF300T Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

Now this is kind of hard to explain, but il do my best
I just got a stylus pen for my TF300T, and so far it works great. I usually use Autodesk SketchBook pro for tablets and it also works great. But now my question is if its possible to make my TF300t's screen, to then connect it to my computer and use the touch screen to kind of draw on my PC. Got it?

Well, you might try to use application called "WiFi Mouse HD". As the title says, it will create a mousepad on your TF and you will be able to control your PC mouse via WiFi. Then all you have to do is turn some painting program on PC and try to draw

Using a bluettoth enabled HTC device as a mouse/keyboard for PC

Is there any software out there that let one use their bluetooth enabled WM device as a keyboard or mouse to control their PC?
I've got a Home Theater PC that I don't have a keyboard for, and it would be great if I could use my phone's (TyTN) keyboard to type away on the PC.
Or use the touch screen as a touch pad, to control the mouse on the PC.
Does something like this exist?
I use GRemote. Google it.
Sailing clicker is a good one i use it to control my laptop connected to my LCD using my Tytn II. you need to download the additional config file on sailings website. you can use the keyboard to type and the touch screen as a mouse pad. usually reliable and can also use wifi to connect as well as bluetooth

[Q] Can I use a large external touch screen monitor to control phone/tablet?

Hi guys,
Is there any way to connect a Hero or Vega (or any android device for that matter) to an external touch screen monitor and control the phone/tablet via the large monitor?
I understand it is pretty easy to watch movies etc on a bigger monitor but I am wanting to actually use the touch screen input of the monitor to control the device.
My aim is to use this as an entertainment system on a 22" (anything over 15") touch screen in a VW campervan conversion project smile.gif
Any help hugely appreciated.
Cheers,
Wag
look on ebay for touch screen addons for laptop or computer monitors most just emulate a usb mouse so if the android tablet or whatever your using supports usb mouse support like some of the viewsonic gtablet roms do i woul think it would work pretty good if you could find one for the size screen you want.
something like this but for the size screen you want http://goo.gl/4GdgT
You need to hack it
I had a similar idea and one of the Touch screen panels as mentioned by gator2k83. It did not work that way as he proposed.
The touch screen works with absolute positions. A mouse is relative position.
You need to hack it the bad way.
See my blog post about it:

HP 23TM touch screen monitor and android tablets
Would the new HP 23TM touch screen monitor work with a 7 inch tablet as an external touch screen monitor? The table has a hdmi out and a micro usb out which could be hooked up with OTG cable?
Thanks.
It would be great to be able to do that

Its been 4 years since the original post, so I'm curious if its any easier now. I would like to control my Samsung Galaxy S3 (MHL compatible) via a MHL 3.0 cable and this touchscreen. Any ideas/advice?

[Q] Laptop Dock for All Devices?

I know this might be tough and might not work for all devices, but can we make something, via USB cables/Bluetooth/WiFi or whatsoever to dock our phone to our laptop/desktop?
Perhaps a program for the Windows to show the display of the phone at phone's resolution. Then mouse to navigate within Android (we'll lose multi-touch though - no pinch-to-zoom) and of course keyboard to perform what it should.
Is it very hard to realise?
What I have been thinking is to get the display out, let the mouse be our finger and each keyboard button to map to the alphabet input to the phone.
Impossible?
(Disclaimer: I have zero knowledge in developing an apps or software. It's just a wild idea I have after watching the laptop dock of Atrix)
VNC? Host VNC on the phone and connect to it from a laptop/PC. It'd run slow and **** though.
Webkey (ROOT REQUIRED) accomplishes this with a browser interface over WiFi, I'm not sure if it works over the USB cable.

Is external touch screen control possible?

Hello all, I've been wondering lately if it's possible for an Android phone to be plugged into an external touch screen and be completely controlled via the external touchscreen?
By possible, I actually mean easily done via some basic or maybe not so basic code.
I know some Android devices offer mirroring via mini hdmi, but you usually have to either control using a remote or the phone. I'd rather have it connect through the micro-usb port, lay the phone somewhere else, and fully control the phone through the external touch screen.
I tried to search, but wasn't sure what to use for the search and all I found was ways to remotely control you pc using your device.
no i dont think so....a web application is there for controlling your phone via wifi with the help of router..
Airdroid try it..

Click to collapse
Thanks for the reply. I'll give Airdroid a try, but I was looking for a more direct option. I'm thinking there has to be a way since the webtops/laptop docks seem to work well, but again those use mouses/keyboards for control.
I am hot on this idea too
I have a lilliput 4 wire resistive screen that i want to use a carputer.
I have seen one solution that is stuck in "coming soon" that requires some manual intervention called customgadz...google it. It's expensive.
I have googled endlessly to try and find a way to input the Liliput directly into the Atrix HD dock as a USB input but the touch screen needs to be calibrated.
So i've resorted to emailing liliput to see what they say.

Dex mode on tablet screen

Hey, from what I gather DEX mode gives you a desktop style experience with the note 9 on an external screen. But does anyone know if it's possible to use it on the screen of a tablet running Windows 10? Not run in windows, but just essentially make use of its screen? Although I'm sure I saw a video of a guy plugging the phone into a laptop and using its screen. The tablet is a lovely 12 incher with a great screen and a built in stand, I just think it would be cool to use it's screen while playing games through the phone with a Bluetooth controller. The tablet has a full size usb port and a mini HDMI which I don't know if it would be an input as well or just output.
Any ideas?
No you can use teamviewer as a remote though
nopez. there is no way a normal Tablet or even Laptop lends just the screen to an external source.
Unless a niche product i am unaware, No video input (HDMI or whatever) input to be found. Just Output.
So a software solution is needed to replicate the phone on the Tablet screen. And that will not make the phone desktop to switch to Dex mode.
Samsung Sidesync program is what you need to run in your Windows 10 Tablet. Hopefully a future iteration of Samsung soft will allow for kind of "dex mode" desktop, as it would allow a better use of screen realstate in the Win10 device landscape format screen
