Stock Froyo ROM for Pantech? - General Questions and Answers

Got this unlocked AT&T Crossover off eBay. Upgraded to Gingerbread via Pantech and rooted it using details on here (Really appreciated)
Unfortunately have deleted a system ap and like an idiot had NOT backed up my stock . The phone still works and I can still talk/transfer to phone via adb/usb cable, but need a stock .img to repair/restore phone to original state as keep getting " files missing" etc... can anyone please help?
Considering buying another, repeating above (Less deletion!!!) making a backup image and copying it across to current phone for a restore, would that work?
Any advice really appreciated. Yes, I know I don't deserve any.....

Need Stock Gingerbread for Unroot

I need to return this phone. Bad pixles. I have unrooted it and restored the stock 2.2 rom nandroid. But this phone was shipped with gingerbread. I can't get it to update using the LG software. It says my software is up to date. So I guess I have to root again and flash the stock gb. Will someone help me locate stock gb zips or nandroids?
you have to do some trick with that lg updater to get it to work. Atleast, I had to. If i can find those steps I'll posted.
try this: unless you found a gb zip..

or here are the zip files..

I havent looked but I am sure there is a nandroid or.zip of stock GB in the dev section. If not I just returned my phone to stock because I got a new one and I just wanted to mess around so went to my original GB from befor I played witht the phone and did a factory reset then made a nandroid copy of that on my old phone because the new one was used and the person had someone else do the rooting and flashing for him and they never made a backup of the original. So I took the nandroid backup from my old phone and restored it on the newer one and it worked perfectly. So If you need and it is allowed I can post the copy of that nandroid backup and that should work I think.
Note I am not an expert so if anyone knows better please chime in. But I think that should be okay to send back for warenty exchange. Unless they really look they wont know the difference. I'm sure that they can always tell if they try jhard enough. So when you are on the phone with them make sure you are polite and dont lose your temper for any reason because that will m ake them look harder for a reason not to help you. Thats just my advice. Good luck
You should flash the development section on your phone
Thanks. I cant seem to figure out how to flash those bin files
Now I've done it! I found this file 2x-v10b-1300166062-nvflash and flashed the "flash" app. Now my phone thinks its a p990. What have I done! How do I reverse this! It wont let me flash clockwork recovery anymore
HOT DAMN! I GOT IT! Finally found exactly what was looking for!

Returning to stock

I have a 4G xoom that I am trying to return to stock. I have the stock images from Motorola and I am experienced in flashing so normally this would be a simple process for me, But I absolutely can not get past the 0x120000 error. I am using a Motorola cable (Not the one that comes with Xoom, But I don't have that one.) and I am using a port on the back. System.img refuses to flash and I can not understand why... Any help would be appreciated. I have also tried the adb method of flashing and that did not work either, It flashed and then re-booted with the custom rom.
I have searched but I can not find one, I would prefer a simple flash able .zip as I have CWM but ANY help would be appreciated.

[Q] Is there a way to pull information from an old backup?

I haven't been able to find anything specific in the threads, so this may be an odd request.
I recently needed to pull some texts from an old backup from CWM. I can see it saved on my external storage, but something messed up in the memory(?) and I kept getting error messages in Odin mode telling me I needed to use the Software Repair Assistant.
Everything I found and tried on here would fail in Odin, no matter what file I was trying to install or which directions I followed.
The phone ended up not booting at all, just going to the repair assistant screen whether it was a normal or download mode boot.
I got frustrated the other night and just used the Samsung emergency repair tool. Now it is back to working properly, but everything I read on here is saying nothing is really going to work on 4.4.2 with the VRUDNE1 baseband.
Before I mess it up again and try rooting and restoring back to an older version (4.3 I think) which will probably mess up, is there any way I can go in to the save files and pull the texts?

I haven't seen a way to do it yet. If your already on 4.4.2 you can't revert back to an older version. Doing so will cause a soft brick

Would I be able to flash it onto another device that hasn't been updated to 4.4.2? On say a Motorola RAZR M? Or would it have to be a pre 4.4.2 Galaxy S3?

It would have to be a S3. Flashing the software intended for an S3 to another device won't work, I am not saying that this will 100% work

Galaxy Tab 2: Need Stock Firmware For SPH-P500

Help! Infected Tab2 - Need stock firmware .zip for SPH-P500
This is my first post. I hope that brings me some luck!
I bought two SPH-P500's from Tiger direct when they were on sale, one for me and one for my wife. Unfortunately, hers got infected by something that I have not been able to eliminate via resets or reloads with the standard tools. I have tried Odin and Heimdahl without success. Foolish me rooted the device but did NOT replace the bootloader I can't load anything but a "signed" zip file expected by the stock system. Unfortunately, the infected device is now no longer rooted as my wife reloaded things and blew away the original
I've also tried a number of obscure things like looking at the cache device/partition to see if there was a .zip left there from the last update, but all that was there was a small text file.
What I need is *ANY* legitimate >> signed zip << firmware file for this model device so I can try an adb sideload. I know there aren't many folks using this device, but was hoping maybe someone might take pity on my plight.
Any other suggestions also appreciated!
Just for the record, the malware continuously plays a short tune and refuses to be killed off. It uses up so much of the CPU that one cannot do much of anything...
here the firmware
