DN+ (dnplus) swedish newspaper app hack for making it work with more devices - Android Software/Hacking General [Developers Only]

DN in this context refers to the swedish newspaper "Dagens Nyheter" (http://www.dn.se).
They have developed an app that is called DN+ and works rather well on iOS devices.
The app requires the user to have a paid subscription for the user to be able to read the latest newspaper on their respective device.
For testing the application there are some sample 'newspapers' to download from inside of the app.
On the Android platform at least, the app is based on the Adobe Air platform.
I got frustrated about how the DN+ app didn't work on my Samsung Galaxy Note II but worked on my Samsung Galaxy Note.
So...inspired by some of the hacks here on the forums I thought I would give it a try to hack it.
The instructions and tools are similiar to this thread:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2057765
But you need to replace the com.hbo.android.app.apk with air.se.bonnier.dn.newsplus-1.apk.
The directory where I found the apk on my device was 'data.ext4\data\app'.
The file config_android.xml is located in the directory: 'assets\assets_runtime\config'
I will provide a link to the .apk file here (as soon as I've reached 10 posts on this forum) if you don't want to hack it yourself.
I changed some settings in the config_android.xml file. Not being an Adobe Air developer, I might have changed a little bit too much or tweaked the numbers wrong. Please let me know if you have any problems or if you can improve on this 'hack'.
I attached the changed config_android.xml file to this post.
Unzip that file to your directory where you unzipped your .apk file in the subdirectory: 'air.se.bonnier.dn.newsplus-1\assets\assets_runtime\config'
Confirmed working on my:
Samsung Galaxy Note II (Samsung GT-N7105 Galaxy Note II LTE), Samsung Galaxy Note

Hello brethen, after reading through the thread some people can not use your program due to the phone structure not having certain buttons. I then remembered a program I came across long ago, when I sinned in the past, stole, illegally downloaded java mobile games and used KEmulator Lite 0.9.8 to play them (Some games didn't work so I was thinking about getting a Java Phone and something that could change screen resolution of certain phones).
The program is called Java Adapter for Mobile 2.2 and works on Windows XP.
It was this that I remembered that the program could adapt Jar games that use numpad only to take input from touchscreen phones.
Download Link for Java Adapter for Mobile 2.2
Google Mediafire gizxiznnwrx or Java Adapter for Mobile 2.2
10 post rule
In fact I was playing around with the and remember seeing this, but I can't remember what I wrote a while ago...I log in and then I get logged out while making this post...I should copy before posting...Oh yeah this good for Android touchscreens that don't have numpads, keyboards or left/right keys.
This is a picture of configuring the touchscreen.
Google 2mcwtmr-500x500.jpg
...Sadly though I myself can not use this program because I don't have a computer with admin rights, but keep up your works
(Please build this into the app though also cause most phones are 320px by 480px, use the 260px left for an onscreen touch d-pad or numpad and also allow keyboard configure/input...also I've seen your homepage which allows me to choose Jbed for a certain OS, but I can't find it, Please post that unless Jbed works on all Android OSs)
I haven't Tested this
I haven't tested this so don't know whether it works or not, but if anyone test Java Adapter for Mobile, have mods stick it at the top or something that let it standout. Also possibly post what you adapted

Warning: S-notes from Note 3 NOT compatible with Note 10.1

S3, NOTE 10.1 -> NOTE 3, NOTE 10.1 2014 all have incompatible file formats causing non-interchangeable notes between devices OF THE SAME LINE!!!
This diminishes the utility of the ENTIRE line since the even the KEY SIGNATURE FUNCTIONALITY can't be relied upon to work beyond the PRODUCT CYCLE of ONE DEVICE.

Thanks to the heads up from al_sen on the incompatibility issue, I turned to Samsung support for advice. I have 4 pages of transcript if anyone wants the full horror story, but the synopsis is, Samsung has screwed us Note 10.1 users. The new Note 3 indeed uses a different format for S-notes. Tablet help person understood how wrong that is, it makes the S-notes on the Note 3 useless for sharing information to another device if any further editing is desired. (you can share as jpg etc.) When I asked him about Note 2 compatibility, he transferred me to the phone chat and that was somewhere in the Twilight Zone. He said S-notes were internal documents not meant to be shared between devices. I fibbed and told him I'd been doing it with my Note 1 and 10.1 when I really just found out I could email them, download them on each other and they could be opened and edited. I figured I'd wait for the Note 3 to figure out how to do it more eloquently than that. Anyway, after a long hold, he came back and S-notes from the 3 can be read by Note 2's but not the 10.1's. It wasn't clear whether that was read only, or if they would be editable.
Then he said it would take a samsung account to sync them and then they could be shared. I told him I did have that set up and asked him if that meant the Note 3's S-notes would then be compatible, he said I would have to wait until the Note 3 was released in the U.S. to find out. I told him the Note 3 was being used in 140 countries already, I gave him the model number on the manual that preach2k nicely provided. He said I would have to wait for the U.S. Version to be released because models are different.
Can you even begin to understand how unhappy I am? He apologized for the inconvenience and at that point I gave up. I have canceled the Note 3 and at some point will get a Note 2, after I'm done crying. :'(
(thanks much to al_sen and to preach2k, the information on the post about the S-note formats and having the manual at hand gave me valuable information so I could make sure the tech people knew what I was asking about)

I have a Note 3 and a Note 8 LTE . The Native Snote in the Note 8 is not the same (it is like the one in the Note 2). I just downloaded the S Note apk from Xda that is compatible with the S Note 3. Now I sync them through evernote and I see the exact same thing on both devices. lf I open a new note on one device or make changes to an existing note it syncs perfectly, I can post pics or proof if you are interested.

Yes, cubanonoobie, please elaborate. I have a Note 3 running jelly bean and the s notes get saved with the file extension of .spd, my Note 8 is the wifi only version but is running KitKat and the s notes get saved with a file extension of .snb
I can send (via bluetooth) s notes from the Note 8 to the Note 3 and the Note 3 will convert the .spd to the newer .snb, but of course, now if I edit the s note on the Note 3, it cannot be accepted back by the Note 8.
I really would like to know how you got evernote to intervene.
Also neither of my devices is rooted, and I am really not willing to risk rooting just yet. Thanks for any ideas!

OK sure, I can elaborate. First things first, if you are in North America the galaxy note note 3 was updated to kit Kat a while ago so you might want to check into that also. On your note 8 you have to download the Snote from the next generation devices. I got the apk file from this link: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=2677686
Once you download the compatible snote into your note 8 you will be able to open and modify snotes on either device because the will always be in spd format. Now you can continue transferring them vis Bluetooth but the beauty of Evernote is that the latest version is integrated with Snote. So, if you have Evernote installed on your devices they will automatically show your SNotes too. So if you create an Snote on either device it will synchronize it to all your devices. Makes sense? You do not need root at all. Let me know if this link works for you. I am not very at good at pasting these links.
But if you Google it under "snote apk" you will find the link to xda. Make sure to choose the one coming from S5 thread. Good luck!

You've clearly never tried opening a docx or xlsx file on Office 2003.
Now that was a nightmare. All the idiots who got a new computer which saved as docx as default, meaning the ENTIRE company couldn't open their 80 page document... Oh yes, Mocrosoft does compatibility so very well....
Anyhow, this is why I use good oldfashioned txt format(droidedit, android's equivalent of n++) Anything I need drawn, I do in a sketch apps. Evernote is useless for pc and if I need a txtfile as widget, Colornote. Lets me 'open as' any txt file through file manager to import. Easy peasy. (and has sync.)

No offense to you, but what a bunch of losers. Either the IT team dropped the ball or the users can't follow simple instructions. DOC should have been set to default or the users should have been notified.
I didn't start using DOCX until only very recently. There seems to be little purpose for docx, especially when most of the 3rd party apps used to only read DOC.
At least it's an option to save in Office 99-2003 format, unlike SNOTE. So it's irrelevant point in comparison to the SNOTE issue.
Oh and lets be fair here, Office 2003 was 10 years ago, Note 10.1 2012 was TWO.

Well, the IT dept was comprised of people who googled how to access the registry on Windows, thought an i3 and IntelHD was more than sufficient for advanced very heavy Photoshop use, and that >2GB files could easily be used over a 5Mbps line on a cloud server....
So that probably tells you enough about their qualifications. And since I'm a woman, they refused to hear a word I said. After all, what could anyone without a phallus possibly know about technology...   (Their words, not mine. They were just a bit more crass about it.)
When you have a note open, you can hit Optionkey --> Share Via. This gives you a menu to save as S Note file, Image file, PFD and TXT.
The same can be done for an entire notebook by hitting the gear icon on the top right of a notebook. This also gives you the option to export the Notebook to Google Drive or as an Image/PDF to your internal memory.
Not ideal, but it's better than nothing.
I recently phoned Samsung UK Customer Support to ask if S-Note was available for Windows XP operating system.
I was told that S-Note was not available for any PCs versions at all, and there were no plans to make it available for PCs.
When I said that this was likely incorrect as I had seen it available for Win 7, they went through to two senior manager who confirmed S-Note was never made for PCs.
They obviously hadn't a clue as later that day I found S-Note on their own website for Windows 7, here: S-Note
I have a laptop running Windows XP and it would be useful to be able to transfer S-Note documents back and forth with the Note 3.
I wonder if anyone knows if S-note is available for Win XP anywhere?

The managers were perfectly correct. The app S-Note is NOT available for Windows.
What you have there is S-Note Viewer. It can only be used as a file manager and viewer, not as a note taking app. It is not S-Note.
And no, Win7 -only apps can't run on XP. Completely different system. The only thing they ever managed to do that with was Halo 2 (for Vista), and it ran through DOS after severe hacking of the game's files. (Still, Halo 2 ran better on XP than it does on 8, which is to say, it doesn't run on 8 at all. Won't even launch.)

The UK Customer support is a mixed bag. Occasionally they are very helpful, and at other times rather useless. I recall when the Note 3 first came out they tried to convince me there was no such feature as region blocking or similar, and all their models would accept all sim cards at all times, even though I had the box and label in front of me stating otherwise.
ShadowLea, unfortunately your well intentioned attempt to be cleverly pedantic on behalf of Samsung support has failed. The program on their website simply states S-Note. Neither the agent nor managers knew they has an S-Note program of any kind on their website, It is irrelevant in illustrating the ignorance of customer services and their managers whether the program is a viewer or a full editing program.
Furthermore it is blindingly obvious that the S-Note Windows 7 program doesn't work on a windows XP machine. I didn't ask if the Win 7 version could run on an XP system. If it did I would be using it now and wouldn't have posted my message.
Now if anyone actually knows if S-Note is available anywhere (of any flavour or colour) for an Windows XP system, please advise. Thanks.

Have you bothered to look at the screenshots? (No, you haven't.)
Look very carefully, and tell me what name it says at the top of the screens...
You asked if it was available. I told you why it wasn't. If you can't figure out that answer C includes answer A & B, that's not my fault. Is it available? No, because the app wasn't made for XP. There, perhaps that makes more sense?
Just a headsup for future reference. Customer support for large companies is ALWAYS outsourced. You weren't speaking to Samsung, you were speaking to a callcenter located quite likely not even in the same city as Samsung's local HQ.
It's why people with questions that can't be answered with 'did you turn it off an on again?' shouldn't waste their time calling the service line. You don't get the company, you get an idiot who barely knows how to press the enter key. (And when they say 'we'll pass it on' or 'we'll discuss it in the next meeting', no, they really won't. They don't even belong to the company, let alone speak to anyone of said company.)
On a last note about the Region Lock. I was telling people about it weeks before the Note 3 even came out. (Not that anyone listened. Told them that it came for the S4, S3 and Note 2 in an update as well, still didn't listen, still happened.) And that info did come directly from Samsung itself. (You may draw your own conclusions as to how I came to know about it.) The Customer support/callcenters denied it because the info was still confidential and internal back then. And thus they weren't informed. (The first month)

Wayland server for Android

ABANDONED
Hi! Does anyone here use Linux desktop distributions in chroot environment on Android device?
I am developing wayland protocol server for Android devices. If anyone is interested in checking my project, latest version of apk is always available here:
ftp://ftp.drivehq.com/mogryph/sparkle/
Currently I am only focused on running Xwayland as client. Also apk supports audio output.
Simplest instruction:
1. Android 6 or newer required, busybox required, root required
2. Prepare linux distribution in directory, image or on partition. Make sure you have Xwayland installed in it. Make sure you specify which DE to run (or at least xterm) in ~/.xinitrc
3. Install and start sparkle.apk
4. Press "edit user.sh", uncomment (remove #) line starting with start_generic_container. Change rest of this line to match your device:
first arg - image or partition where distribution is installed. If distribution is installed in directory and mouting is not needed, leave this arg unchanged.
second arg - mount point or directory with distribution. If you use mounting (first arg), this arg can be left unchanged.
third arg - name of the user which will be used to start Xwayland and DE. Its better to specify non-root. Also this is the user who must have .xinitrc in his home dir (see step 2).
5. Save user.sh and click "Start".
6. Any problems and crashes will be reflected in the log.
If you want audio output:
1. Compile and install driver from pcm_sparkle.tar.gz in your distribtion
2. cp 1.asoundrc ~/.asoundrc
If you have blinking problem, change upload_mode from 1 to 2 in settings. If you have bad performance, setting no_damage to true may help, but in most cases no_damage=false is better. Fastest upload mode is 0 (if it works).
If you don't trust me and don't want to give sparkle root permissions (I perfectly understand this) you don't have to. Also you can do without busybox.
But in this case, you need to understand and do a lot of things. Check sparkle's user.sh to get idea about what needs to be done. Basically:
1. You need to make /data/data/com.sion.sparkle/files accessible from inside chroot container. You can use bind bound.
2. Make sure you have tmpfs mounted over /tmp in container.
3. You may need to change selinux context on /tmp to match sparkle's context or disable SELinux.
4. You need to create new directory in /tmp, symlink sparkle's wayland socket from /data/data/com.sion.sparkle/files/wayland-0 to this dir. And export XDG_RUNTIME_DIR to point to this dir. Dir must be (ch)owned by user who will be running Xwayland and DE.
5. After all this, you can try to start Xwayland and your DE.

Hello! This project is interesting. I tried you app and it works on my Xiaomi Redmi Note 4X(chromium and glmark from chrooted environment works very well)! Can you publish source code on Github, because it really interesting project?
Also I'm interested, please post it on github!
Did you put this up on github or move this thread? Looks very interesting.

Argh, sorry, I decided to abandon this project. You are free to delete thread. Also no copyleft-licensed components were used so I don't have to bother releasing sources.

Hello again.
For last two weeks I was rewriting it from scratch (yes. again... yes, third time).
Probably need another week to make it stable.
Currently I am not sure it runs on any device except my own 5-year old phone (LineageOS 14).
I will maintain last version here:
ftp://ftp.drivehq.com/mogryph/sparkle/
There is no English documentation, but you can see script "user.sh" to get idea about how to start xwayland. In most cases it should be enough to edit few lines in that script to make it work on another device. If you execute this script on your device with "install" argument, it is supposed to place itself into sparkle's directory and sparkle is supposed to run it ("start" function) automatically. Sparkle doesn't request root unless script does.
Here is video of sparkle working:
https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=tOSFYxCF7Q8
But it seems that KDE + video recording was too much for my old phone
Still, if you going to see video, don't close it until 2:00 where I turned of composition which caused lags.
Also on device everything looks much smoother than on video, even after 2:00.
When I watch fullscreen (1280x720) video on my device, sparkle + xwayland together add just 5% of CPU load (20% load of single core).
Thats it I guess... I tried to to discuss sparkle on 4pda.ru (russian forums), but got very bad reception. "xsdl is perfect, dont reinvent the wheel" they say. So I started to hate humanity and I decided to make sparkle personal project. Also this is last time I am solving reCAPTCHA to leave post on XDA.
Still alive
We are still alive. I've changed first post to reflect actual state. Now sparkle supports audio, auto-mouting containers and is lot more stable.
Yet there are still many things I want to improve in sparkle's core before adding new functions.
Also there are few demo videos on ftp.
Amazing!
Working great on my redmi 6 pro. Stock miui 9.9.3 rom. With linuxdeploy and sparkle from your ftp. No lag on visual and sound. My Linux distribution is alpinelinux arm64 arch.
Since first time I see your posting on 4pda. I'm interested in it. And finally it's on xda.
Thanks dev.

For anyone interested in the topic. Please follow the instructions in documentation from ftp. And Translate it to eng from rus.
This sounds amazing! Just curious, is it related to https://github.com/twaik/sparkle ?
I now have it working very well on my Samsung Tab S3 using Xwayland and a tiling window manager. Firefox runs amazingly well!
Is it meant to be used only with Xwayland or will it also work with native Wayland applications?
BTW, I think if you open sourced this project and promoted it a bit, it could become quite popular. It's basically the first way to run X11 GUI applications on Android devices at full speed. If you set up a donation link, you could also get compensated for your time and effort. I'll personally contribute $20 if it's open sourced, and I'm sure others will chip in as well.

Thanks for feedback. Nice to hear that someone managed to start this thing
Twaik's repository is clone of my very very old version of sparkle. I made that version years ago when I was just starting to learn linux and C++. Sparkle was rewritten from scratch two or three times since that version. And (I believe) current version is much better.
Regarding making it open source... Few months ago I had to find real job. Can't spend much time on personal projects any more. But I have my own strange programming style and my own vision of what sparkle should be. Not sure I want others to paint on my picture. It's probably all because of Twaik! I hate how he used old open source version of sparkle. He did terrible things to it, outraging all my beliefs Sorry!
P.S.: Yesterday I've uploaded another apk to my ftp. The file is called "sparkle-testing.apk". This version is much newer and has many fixes. But I've also changed to many things since tested version including some fundamental changes. No guarantee it will run at all on other devices. Interest is mega low and I get no test reports at all.
Hi Hentacler, I've just found your project - it looks really promising. Unfortunately, the only link currently working on this thread is to github. Is this project still live?
I have a samsung galaxy note 10+, and am using it as a laptop replacement. In addition to the android apps using Samsung Dex (Samsung's desktop solution), I have several linux distributions installed inside a chroot using userLand - so far, its working great. I'd be keen to give you project a try if it's still live, and am happy to help out with testing from my device.
Re open source - while I like your project, I'm not super interested in investing time into something that's not open sourced - I appreciate your concerns about wanting to maintain the direction, but having transparent development is pretty important to me. Is Twaik's fork of your project a better place to go?
Cheers.

Hi Hentacler, I've just found your project - it looks really promising. Unfortunately, the only link currently working on this thread is to github. Is this project still live?

ftp://ftp.drivehq.com/mogryph/sparkle/
Link to FTP should work and there you can get two versions:
sparkle.apk - old version, but confirmed to work by 3-4 people.
sparkle-testing.apk - latest version, but only briefly tested by me.
I don't ask anyone to invest anything... Sparkle doesn't request root access or any other dangerous permissions (unless you enable automatic container mounting and starting) so it's safe to try for anyone who wants.
Btw, somewhere between these two versions I've replaced BASH container initialization script with LUA version. That was probably a bad idea. LUA script is harder to start directly as root and hacks I used may not work (currently may even cause application freeze if root access is denied). Going to revert to BASH probably. But this only touches people who want sparkle to mount container and launch everything automatically on single button press.
p.s.: Why I need to solve captcha every time I post something?
Thanks for the new release! I've updated and everything seems to be working without any changes on my Samsung Tab S3 with chroot and Arch Arm Linux.
Your changes also solved the flickering for me! The old version would flicker the screen whenever my keyboard's trackpoint activated, but it's not flickering at all any more. Performance seems to be about the same.
I think this could be quite popular, but not many people know about it. Perhaps a post on Hacker News or Reddit would raise awareness.
I understand your position on open source and maintaining control. One idea if you haven't already considered it is releasing the code with a restrictive license that forbids any forks. But either way, I'm enjoying being to properly use X11 on my tablet.
BTW, have you tried any native Wayland compositors? I don't really understand the Wayland ecosystem that well. I gave Sway a brief try, but it didn't seem to work. I've only been using XWayland.
@Hentacler Thanks for your reply! Very keen to get this working, but having a few issues. I'm unsure how to configure the user.lua file - I'm using your latest apk.
I have a non-rooted device, and am running archlinux under termux. Works fine with xsdl. I have installed xorg-server-wayland for X11. I'd appreciate any advice you have.
@robsmith11 Are you able to share how you got this working on Arch? Thanks!!!!

I am not sure it is possible to use sparkle without root...
Sparkle makes it's directory accessible for everyone (chmod 777). Before Android 8 or 9 this was enough and xwayland from termux was able to connect to sparkle. Here is how people used to start it:
export XDG_RUNTIME_DIR=/data/data/com.sion.sparkle/files
Xwayland
But newer versions of Android brought more restrictions and termux can no longer connect to sparkle. These new restrictions are implemented using SELinux if you know what it is. Applications now have different security contexts.
But that is not all. Newest versions of android brought even more terrible meaningless restrictions effectively "killing" applications like termux and many others.
In short, from now one applications are not allowed to execute code (binary) that comes from "untrusted" sources. Termux used to download a lot of such code from it's own repositories. And now it can't. We can't even unpack binaries from assets.
So I can only help with rooted devices.
P.S. Please forgive me, but I am leaving this website. Making people solve recaptcha every time they want to post something is unacceptable level of contempt.
My mail: [email protected]
Thanks for that, will have a play. I could always just root my device. Weird about recaptcha, not having this issue. Currently through termux I have access to the whole sdcard, and am able to download packages (and distros) in it - will have a play and see what else is possible.
@tillum
I basically just followed the instructions on the first post for using Sparkle without busybox. I didn't need to modify the Lua scripts.
I'm guessing SELinux may be a problem without root. I'll try setting it up without root when I have a chance later.

Samsung notes edit shared notes

Hey guys.
Does anyone know how I can edit a note of a shared folder (shared with an other Samsung user)?
We (my girlfriend and I. Both latest version of notes, one ui 3.1. Android 11. Samsung n10 and n20) both can create and see each other notes but we can not edit each others notes, only the one we created. The edit button is simply missing.
I tried everything. I did create new group, new folder, everything. Nothing works.
Thanks

still not possible
Samsung Notes - shared notebook notes
Hi, when I share a note in Samsung Notes app via Shared Notebook with other Samsung users, only I as an originator have an option to edit that note, while others can only see it. Is it possible to assign or enable editing option to other users for that specific note?

Still not working
omg... how can they ignore the lack of such an important feature....

Question Best notes app for Galaxy s22 Ultra

Hello!
I've used Google Keep for a long time, until I changed to Iphone and changed to notes, from IOS.
Now I've imported all my notes to Google Keep again (the new ones).
Now with S22 Ultra I don't know if I can maintain GK or just jump to Samsung Notes or other.
My question is besides all about the S Pen, which I assume these S Pen notes are saved in Samsung Notes.
What do you guys use? Which one do you use?
Thanks a lot!
Thanks
M$ One note for me, is the one and only that is:
- truly multiplatform: Mac, windows, ios, android, web. All the docs are centralized and accessible on all platforms
- great support for: s-pen, apple pencil, surface slim pen
Can I configure S Pen to save its notes to M$ OneNote???? How?
This i am willing to learn as well as my S22 Ultra will be with me in following weeks hopefully. This was also my concern if i can configure S pen to save notes on GK
I could't find a way to make MS One Note the default app for use with S-Pen, in fact, it seems it's not meant to be done (see https://answers.microsoft.com/en-us...th-s-pen/3647f7d9-79bd-4241-adb2-8cfc221d8f9a), but there is a way to maintain in sync your Samsung Notes app with One Note, to access your notes in all the Microsoft environment...see https://www.samsung.com/us/support/answer/ANS00088543/
Samsung Notes Windows:
Get Samsung Notes from the Microsoft Store
"Samsung Notes allows you to use the enhanced S Pen to write or draw, and save files to the Cloud. You can use the S Pen to create notes that contain notes, memos, images, voices or music on Samsung Notes. Try creating a new note. You can create a new note by tapping + at the bottom right of...
apps.microsoft.com
If it isn't available for install on Microsoft Store than:
Open Command Prompt and write:
Code:
winget install "Samsung Notes"
or
Open PowerShell and write:
Code:
winget install "Samsung Notes" --source msstore
Y for accept and that all
Also it's possible to download Samsung Notes zip file from here:
SamsungNotesMicrosoftStore.zip | by xda-developers.com for Utilities
Download GApps, Roms, Kernels, Themes, Firmware, and more. Free file hosting for all Android developers.
androidfilehost.com
Unzip downloaded file, install Samsung notes APPX file, and after installation just update on latest version in Microsoft Store!

I use OneNote, but that is because I'm more invested in the Microsoft ecosystem. In college my school used Microsoft Office and OneNote was part of it.
I can sync my notes across all of my devices (S22 Ultra, Tab S7, Surface Pro 6, and Dell Inspiron desktop PC).
Samsung Notes allows you to export to OneNote, but it's kinda awkward and you cache edit them after you export them.
Evernote is also pretty good, but I think you have to pay for it.
