i need a way to power on Uhost 2 with Air mouse remote
Which air mouse? Most work using control +alt +delete. My RC 11 doesn't do it. It doesn't have a hardware forward delete button, only a back delete. I've tried remapping the keys but so far no joy.

I'd like to wake up my device by (lets say ) home button except power button. I dont wanna use power button every time when it's on sleep. Is it possible? How can I? I tried Topaz Keyboard Control 1.4 but it couldn't work as the way I like. I remapped the home button for power management, it turns on&off but directly, not after it goes into sleep.
Change
HKCU\\ControlPanel\Keybd\DefaultKeyLock
from 1 to 0.
So? What will happen after that tweak done? Will it wake up by pressing home key?
After changing and soft reset, you can wake up device with any key.
You're great Fighter. You made my day again. Thank you very much.
waking up the device using a usb mouse
I am handicapt and can not use my hands. I control the samsung S6 using a special (mouth) controled mouse. That is working fine.
But my problem now is how I can wake up the device using the mouse. ?
Kind regards John
Hi. Got Sidekick 4G a week ago and really like this phone so far, but there is one problem: system detects only 2 simultaneously pressed keys on qwerty-keyboard. Problem appears in 16-bit console games emulators, where I have to press 3 buttons at a time. Is that impossible on this device? It only detects 2 buttons and ignores 3rd press. I'm wondering, is this a hardware issue, or possibly could be fixed by firmware? I'm using GenericGinger 4.1
Thanks.

You're dealing with a hardware issue there.
The only other keys the device can register with two keys depressed are the hardware buttons that line the outside of the device (home, menu, jump, camera, and volume).
You can use this to your advantage.
One solution would be to map the back key to something else and map the back key where the jump key currently is.
That way, you will be able to press the trackpad and the (former) back key with your right thumb.
It's a huge tradeoff and I wouldn't do it, but it will provide a natural feeling game controller.
You could take it a step further and also remap the menu button as well..
Unfortunately, these new touchscreen phones do not have the d-pad the Danger Hiptop did. It sure makes designing software a pain in the ***.
It doesn't seems to be working either: when I'm holding two keys on qwerty keyboard and press Back key, nothing's nappening. So no matter what keys, only two keyspresses can be detected at a time. But thanks for reply anyway.
I've been using Xwave joypad on my Xperia Mini (4.1.2), and everything works except D-pad buttons
Emulator seems to recognize every other button as button #, but it doesn't recognize D-pad buttons.
Is it because of how Android interprets the button codes (every other button would be called button 1, button 2, etc. but D-pad would probably be "D-pad left" and "D-pad right"), and is it something that could be fixed? Is there an app that changes external input mappings?
Hello, I just got an nVidia Shield Tablet and Shield Controller.
The controller is pretty good but I have two little issues:
- The home button, being tactile, not a button, is too easy to accidentally press while using the analogue joysticks, so I find accidentally exiting a game while playing. How can I disable that button?
- Also, the + and - volume buttons on the bottom of the gamepad, while not tactile, are still too easy to accidentally press. Can those be disabled as well?
Thanks for your help!
hi, I have a satechi media button ( http://www.satechi.net/index.php/satechi-bluetooth-button-series-media-button ) which is a fine thing to have but there are two problems.
1. is there an app that could remap its buttons to let say if I press play button 2-3 times rapidly it would then wake up the phone. and so on?
2. when it connect to media button it sees it as a physical keyboard thus you cannot type in at all with the screen keyboard. only when you turn off bluetooth you can type again. that is very inconvenient. any ways to go around that? thanks.
anybody?
