Any jellybean based Rom right now supports otg but I have had some troubles with it. If useing a ics sense based Rom, you will have to use flars ElementalX 3.2 kernel. You can find it in the Android section.

Will this rom work with the otg cable? And can i flash it from clean rom 5.1 without chaniging boot.img ??
OTG is a kernel issue not a rom issue. You have to flash a kernel with otg support. The new Sense JB roms all support it.
To flash KingKang from CleanROM 5.1 you need to do a complete wipe as they are on totally different bases.
Well I'm running Hatka's 2.1.0 Rom and 9 out of 10 times my flash drive saint connect. Phone says something about charging not connected. But once in a while it connects and I have full access.

Could be that the ROM just isn't compatible with custom kernels, Try flashing some other and see what happens. Why are you keeping the stock ROM and trying to flash a new kernel?
I don't want to go back to ICS and just discovered the DSLR controller by Chainfire. And now desperate to get it to work with my Sensation Pyramid.
I'm happy to have external power but so far my attempts with various roms and kernels have failed.
If you have a JB build with what ever Kernal that you know works with OTG please let me know so I can start bugging from there.
Many thanks, in advance.

Hey guys! Are there any kernels that have self-powered otg support for 4.1 or 4.2 aosp roms? I'm currently running elementalx 3.2 and an ics sense based rom, but I don't really like it and I've looked around the development threads to find a kernel for aosp with the otg support. I'm wanting to use it for an Xbox 360 controller. Thanks in advance!

I'm kind of a newbie, I just know how to flash roms and what not. Are there currently any roms for the One S that have the look of Sense 5 preferably Android 4.2.2. I have found some but there are way too many bugs. I am big wifi tether user, so I need that and camera to definitely work. Also, what is the newest (stable) rom for the One S?
Most stable Rom are the STOCK ROM......

No Sense based 4.2.2 because we haven't got the kernel for that working yet. All Sense 5 ROMs have no working Bluetooth or Wi-Fi tether. I wouldn't consider any third party ROM on here as "stable". Closest thing would probably be CyanogenMod 10.1.

I'm using UnKnown's Rom, it has sense 5 icons, it is stock plus all the stuff he did to it. The battery life is killer. It's as stable as stock.

Latest nightly for Pac man Rom is smooth and stable.
Luxandroid is near to stock and very stable.
Miui will give you good theming capabilities and is pretty to use.
If you wait for sometime, sense 5 is coming... Also viper with its set of tweaks...
