[Q] what are you using to print from samsung browser? - Galaxy Tab 2 Q&A, Help & Troubleshooting

I just tried it and it states it only works with samsung printers, so then I tried chrome, the android version for tab doesnt have print option on pulldown, even though itstates chrome will print on all devices. I found the cloudprint beta, works well with stock browser then you can set it to use it instead of the samsung bit.
What do you do for printing from your tab 2?

Kiescast for Tablets by Samsung Electronics MSDG

OK, so now that I have Android 4.0.4 ICS on my shiny Samsung Galaxy Tab 7.0 Plus, Samsung has the Kiescast for Tablets app in the Google Play App Store that requires Android 4.0 or up, "BUT", it is telling me that 'THIS ITEM IS NOT COMPATIBLE WITH YOUR DEVICE'. Really??? A 'FREE' Samsung app for Tablets isn't available for my Samsung Tablet??? Come on Samsung!!!
Anyone else able to get the Samsung Kiescast for Tablets app? And for that matter, what 'tablets' is this app 'compatible' with? Letme guess, Asus, LG, Motorola, or Sony??? :cyclops:
I see exactly the same problem. When I go to Google Play via browser, it says "incompatible with all your devices." When I search in the Play app on the Tab, Kiescast won't appear in the search results no matter what search strings I use.
I was able to get a copy of the Kiescast app phone version and it installs and runs fine so far on the Tab 7 Plus except I had to use the Samsung Keyboard which came with my Samsung 8.9 tablet to get into the 'Menu' of this version of the Kiescast app so that I could get into settings of the Kiescast app since it didn't display the menu button on the screen.
I just noticed a rating post on the Play store that it apparently is available to the 10.1 Tablet. Now I just need to find someone with that tablet so I can bum a copy to see if it works on the Tab 7 Plus.
Well, got the ICS update for my 8.9 Samsung tab and the Kiescast for Tablet was available for it in the Play store. Sideloaded it onto the 7.0 Plus and it doesn't work. Screen resolution problem big time. Looks like the phone version of Samsung Kiescast is the only way to go for this app.

Google Chrome Mobile and Flash

Ok, I'm totally confused by all of this.
I do know that Google Chrome is disabling all plugins and things like flash, but I need to access a website that uses flash (My own speedtest running on my network) to test wifi speeds etc.
When I visit the page on my S6 it says "update your client", and the link goes to Adobe's Flash Player website which tells me it's not supported.
I've tried the Flashify app, but that does not work either.
The desktop Google Chrome works fine.
Any suggestions?
Cheers

Samsung Tab A Stock Email Printing - "Failed to change the settings. Try again"

Samsung Tab A Stock Email Printing - "Failed to change the settings. Try again"
I hope this is the right place to post. Multiple people have this issue and I have posted elsewhere with no solution. I know this group has very deep programming knowledge so perhaps there is a solution.
I have a new Tab A and have the default Samsung print services, canon print services, and brother print services installed. When I try to print from the stock email app it finds the printer but no matter what print service I use it previews the pages, I hit print and get the error message: "Failed to change the settings. Please try again". Sometimes instead I get "the print service has stopped".
I have cleared data and cache of the print services and spooler. Sometimes it will work once....but that is it.
Printing from chrome works fine. Running android 6.0.1.
Any ideas most welcome.
Thanks,
BJBBJB
I'm encountering same problem with Galaxy S7 edge, suppose it's related to the recently deployed Android update. Unfortunately couldn't spot any solution on the web so far.

Note that this fix is for the Samsung Tab A... specifically the 9.7. Don't have this problem on any S7 or S7 edge.
That being said, someone posted the solution on another forum and not sure if I can post a link. What you need to do is rollback any updates to "Android System Webview". Go to app manager, show system apps, disable, yes to go to factory, re-enable, and then you can print.
Only issue is even after turning off auto update for that program it seems to want to update.

Works again
Made the rollback, printing works perfectly again. THANK YOU.
New Beta version of Android Web View fixes the issue
New Beta version of Android Web View fixes the issue. Once this version will be released this issue will be fixed,
Ofcourse you can always become beta tester and get beta version of app from play store if you want to test early.
For people running Android 7 and above you will need to update chrome.

Samsung Internet Developer Mode

I currently use Yandex browser so that I can use the Bypass-Paywall extension. Since 'Samsung Internet' is also technically a Chromium browser, I was wondering if there is any way to activate the developer mode in Samsung Internet so that I can install this extension. Currently I can install add-ons/extensions only from the Galaxy store. Basically I would like to install custom add-on/extension in Samsung Internet.

Samsung browser has just been relased. Works great
Hmm, it did load. And it does work... more so than the hacked Chrome app I loaded, for sure. Hard-coded bookmarks?? That is a bit strange- how it is a bookmark if you can't change or add one? No way to directly go to a URL. No way to have it remember preferred search engine (always goes back to google). Feels very much "beta" right now. Hopefully it will improve.
Just discovered this browser.. I think adaptation was just made for GW4 or something... It's excellent though.

Lol I've scoured the Play Store and Web for more hours than I care to know... There isn't a list of compatible browsers available for GW4 right now...
-The split Chrome Galaxy Watch 4 bundle linked above.
-Samsung Internet Browser
-Odd Browser
THAT IS IT in terms of browsers that are even remotely useable for continuous web surfing. Take your pick.
