I am hoping to find some help here. Recently an error occurred on my new phone(Sony xperia tipo) - when I try to install an app (mainly games) I get "application not installed", while I can still install file browsers etc (I tried to install apk's with "Root explorer", "ASTRO", Linda Manager" and neither worked).

many of the SGS apps require the touchwiz ui framework to work properly, and well the NS doesnt have any of those frameworks

i havent tried installing the honeycomb music player so im not sure
You must have root, then go in and delete the stock music apk on your phone before installing the honeycomb music player. I actually just did this to mine and its pretty slick

Hi, I'm using Sony Xperia C3 D2533 android version 4.4.2. When I try to install the .apk file of NBA 2K15 v1.0.0.58, it will say "Application is not installed." and "Out of Space" even though there is enough. I've went to the app/data but there isn't an Odex file for it because has not been installed yet and I do not use Titanium Backup. Please help me if you have any solution. :crying: :crying:

but try changing the installation location of your apps.
If you don't know what's that or your phone doesn't have the option to configure it, then simply install any app that can help you change your apps installation location. I recommend Lucky patcher or rom toolbox (they both require root) but you can find others at play store.
In lucky Patcher, Select Toolbox (It's at bottom )> Select default Install location > select "Auto Location".
or
In Rom ToolBox, in main Tool tab> select Configure Apps2SD> and select Auto.

Thanks, but it still does not work, I've used Lucky patcher to change the installation location but it still prompts " Application is not installed".
Hi, thank you for using XDA Assist. It sounds to me like you're trying to get a paid app for free. If I'm wrong please correct me. XDA does not support or condone the use of warez. Please support the developers.
I installed the blackberry keyboard and the Xperia keyboard but on apk mirror there were newer versions so I deleted the apps and downloaded the new ones. Once i tried to install them, it says "app not installed". Why won't this install now? I have unknown sources checked.

When running into trouble with Revolut apps on the 12SU (China ROM), I tried to install an older version via APK from apkpure. I am however unable to install APK's. It says "couldn't install. Error 999" I have tried several other apps, same thing.
I already gave permission to install unknown apps to firefox, chrome and the xiaomi app installer app, but to no avail.
Any thoughts?
