Or if you want reboot options in CM10.1 power menu you can :
Go to settings, about tablet,
Tap on Build number a load of times and you will get a message that says developer settings enabled or something to that effect.
Go into Developer options (which just appeared) and check "advanced reboot"
That will give you options such as reboot recovery and reboot boot loader, if you have an sgt7 based version you don't need to do the tap build number bit.

Is there a program or an app that i can use to setup, when i push the power button, i get the option to restart in recovery, or do i have to load a custom rom for this to happen. I really want to keep the stock rooted rom. I do have the cwmr touch recovery loaded from the devlop section of these forums.
Try the app "quick boot". Free in the market.

search for "14 toggle mod" this will change ur notification drop down buttons and give u a side scrollable one, that, including some other useful features (flashlight anyone?) includes a reboot option that will let u boot rite to recovery
Am I missing something why not use rom manager or any other rom managing app. and use it to boot into recovery

I don't think you're missing anything.... I thought it was a bit of a strange question.... unless you're really new.

If it was a strange question, then how come almost every custom ROM comes with the extended power menu and/or the 14-toggle panel? Couldn't the rest of xda just use ROM manager to boot into recovery? Sure, but its quicker to do it from your home screen. He wants the same feature but doesn't want to flash a custom ROM. How is that strange??

Is there any way to change my music to the next or previous track by holding the volume up and down buttons? I'm locked and rooted. Currently using Poweramp.

never had to change any app settings.
op - clean rom 2.1 + dirty tweaks
If you're on stock then you can transplant an android.policy.lib from a ROM that has it and it will work. I think you have to be odexed though.
So here's my situation.
• Bottom volume button fell out.. literally fell out. The ACTUAL button, not the cover.
• On CM10, doesn't have an option to go into download mode from the power menu.
• CM10 pisses me off, going back to UCLB3.
What can I do to get in download mode? Do any ICS or JB ROMs have an option in the power menu?
Also I'm aware of the jig and willing to mutilate a USB cable but I don't have any resistors.
Try an app called Reboot Menu (no ads)... this has an option to reboot into download mode that works on the Infuse.
Any of the roms that include EPM (Extended Power Menu) will have an option to reboot into download mode via a long press of the power button.
I've not tried a jb ROM that didn't have that option.

HSS referring to download mode not recovery...I'll back him up that the option isn't in any jb/ICS ROM I know of
That app mentioned earlier sounds like your best bet

I just flashed CM 10-.1 3/15 and I can't reboot into recovery via power button menu. Is there another way to do this?
AW: [Q] CM 10.1 Wingray - Reboot into Recovery
Reboot your Xoom and wait for the Motorola logo to appear. *After approximately 3 seconds, press the volume down button. You should then see the Android recovery logo. Press the volume up*button to select it.
