any trick to get nfl mobile to work with HDMI out??

is there any trick to get this to work??
There is an adaptor you can buy from amazon. http://www.amazon.com/gp/aw/d/B0080CXSOU/ref=redir_mdp_mobile/189-6475392-4641833
This is the only way I have found it works besides from the all share feature with a Samsung/smart TV.

Wondering if anyone has looked into getting NFL Mobile working with HDMI mirroring. It appears as though there are root apps specific to other phones you can get (e.g. Xternal Display for Droid Bionic), but have yet to see anything for the GS3.
Thanks!
Believe it would have to be hacked app. DMR related block from what I understand.

Did a little bit of digging for you.
This is the only thing I found on the S3 and WiDi (aka. be compatible with the device you listed above)

To be honest, the thread was pretty messy, but overall definitely has some interesting information
I'm thinking it should work. I saw another thread where someone said it worked with their note 2

Personally I run a:
http://www.amazon.com/Adapter-HDMI-3FHU-Samsung-Galaxy/dp/B0080CXSOU
to connect to my home theater. Not sure how well the wireless video/audio would turn out.
In my experience streaming anything over the air turns out poorly.
I guess the wireless nature of it all could be convenient though

I have the mhl adapter also, but it gets annoying having to constantly hook it up every time I wanted to watch a movie. At the same time, I don't wanna sacrifice sound quality just to be wireless. I'm torn!!!!!

Infra Red & Virgin Media TiVo

Hi Guys!
Just thought I'd point out, the ir works with the Samsung TiVo by Virgin Media!
I read a review that said it doesn't and neither does the HTC One.
Very pleased I can control TV and TiVo now

Watchon really is a great app , it only took me a few minutes to set up two tv's and two sky boxes and it all works very well .

I couldn't get mine to work.. Ill have to have another look tonight

If you're talking about TiVo, select Virgin Media in the brand.
It works a treat plus its awesome that you can put the remote widget in the lock screen so you don't even need to unlock the phone to change channels

Is the Samsung tivo box a newer box then? Because I have a Virgin media tivo box and it's a Cisco one.

Tbh I'm not sure...
I got mine installed about 2 weeks ago and it was Samsung, that's why I was surprised when the review I read said it didn't work. Bet they chose TiVo rather than Virgin Media.

Does the App have learning capabilities or just the device list from Sammy?
As I know NO learning capabilities...now trying to find out if its only SW problem (stupid sammys apk) or HW is only IR transmitter not receiver...somebody?
I wonder if the camera could be used to capture the IR codes. If it's refresh rate is high enough. Otherwise some low-volume devices would need them hardcoded somehow.
virgin media tivo (cisco) samsung watch on
Hi. Has anybody had any success controlling the cisco virgin media tivo box with watch on and the galaxy s4. Lg tv is sorted but struggling to get my set top cable box to work. Regards. Jim

I too have been unable to get my Virgin Media Cisco CT8620 Tivo box to work with WatchOn. I've tried the "Virgin Media", "Cisco" and "Tivo" options that it offers, trying the next code in each when prompted, but with no luck.
I filled out the contact box with details of the model information at the end when prompted, but I've no idea how long I'll have to wait for them to add support for this box.
Anyone have any suggestions?
I have this working on Cisco VM TiVo.
I selected cisco as the box manufacturer on setting it up. Make sure you have the latest watch on installed from play store.

I use HDMI with Samsung's connector. They have an over rhe air device but reviews are mixed. I will eventually get it to see. But hdmi works flawless. I get to use my plasma as a big screen the type & images are super crisp. I put my tablet on a tripod and use the touch screen as a remote controller.
I have the Allshare Cast Dongle and it goes fine. I use it with my N8000, S4 and Note 2.

Chromecast only works with certain apps. It's not a true miracast.
http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chromecast
I bought a cheap rockchip miracast dongle off aliexpress, I will do a short review when it arrives. I'm not even sure if miracast function works but at least it has dlna.
Chromecast is great for the computer as you can mirror the entire screen, but it only works with certain applications on the phone atm.

I got my One to pair with my X-1 box no problem. Even re-programmed the DVR button to a menu button by using the X-1 remote and my phone. I just selected Comcast or XFINITY when setting it up and it worked.
Works perfect. Every button

Did you end up using the preselected programming. Or did you have to manually set up the remote

I just used the preselected programming. The only thing I did on the remote was to program the "My DVR" button to a menu button like the XFINITY button on the actual X-1 remote.

I had the same issue. HTC TV app works flawlessly with both my TV (Toshiba) and my surround sound (Samsung) but will not do anything other than turn my X1 box off/on. I even tried the manual button program and it wouldn't work...maybe HTC issued an update recently? I'll have to try again when I get home today.
