CM7 ROM is worked on daily so every night it's compiled, we can then download those nightlies to flash onto our devices.
Nightlies=the latest and greatest available CM7 ROM.

Nightlies are like tests that the CM team build every NIGHT (Lol) to fix and make the ROM more stable... Nightlies are flashables, they are ROMS

No lol, They come out with Nightly #1 and then #2 and #3 and so on.... until they release an RC (Release Candidate) and if they feel that stable enough, it becomes a Stable Release

Going to record a video of CM on the Sensation so you get a feel for the speed...

Nice receiving my sensation tomorrow and this is great news especially bluetooth audio . I use a2dp a lot and nice to see this ready from nightly #1. We are nightly 10 in sgs2 and still no a2dp

ADW has a lot of available tweaks and the stock launcher does not but you can always install it if you wish...

Yeah CyanogenMod is a AOSP developer and builds all of his ROMs and his development team's ROMs from source. This is one of the main reasons why all CM ROMs run so smooth and are so liked by the masses. So no ICS from Cyanogen until the source is released. I mean have people not ever noticed that there is no CM ROMs out for any Honeycomb tablet?????

Whoever picks this up I would like to be a beta tester.

Its from the desire. Isn't our specs close or is it the desire hd? If anything what about a port. I don't know how to but I'm sure someone does. Just really wanna try out ics. Oh btw CM said they don't play with SDK only source

Its gonna be a long 2-3 weeks, before we even see an rc or Alpha. Either way Ima get ics somehow, by the nexus prime(screw galaxy nexus) or a ROM

[REQUEST]Help Needed For Miui V4 Port

Hey guys, jomeister here with a request for some dev help with porting Miuiv4 to our phones. I figure now that the ICS drivers has been released, and with my AOSP rom being updated soon, we might as well get down to business with some ICS Miui.

As I'm reading the instructions, I'm starting to doubt more and more if this will work or not. The Evo 3D is a very different device... Not to mention that it's HTC, and not Samsung.
I'm downloading the Evo3D rom right now anyways. Going to try this.

Well, really the only difference between Miui and AOSP is the system/framework, some system/apps, and some other random files that aren't really that critical to the system. The Evo 3D actually not that different from our Skyrocket; they both have the same msm8660 chip.

Yeah... but still a very slim chance that it'll work.

We've been trying and so far, from what I know, we fixed surfaceflinger in the CM9 base but AtCmdFwd won't start. I believe it is because of libhardware_legacy.so

Word on CM 9/10 on the MyTouch 4G

Ciwrl (Abhisek Devkota) is a CyanogenMod Head Moderator, & part of the community staff
He replied to my comment on Google+ about CM9/CM10 not being on the MyTouch 4G yet, and gave a clear reply saying that its in the works

CyanogenMod... Please start supporting the MyTouch 4G with newer releases :/ .. The most we got from you is CM7.2. We'd love to get our hands on CM9, or surprise us with CM10 builds. +Moe Nasrallah you and the vision are in the same boat: broken OMX (which we can rewrite relatively quickly) and broken camera drivers(which we have to rewrite completely).
Until we rewrite the camera drivers (which is in progress), we won't release a 9/10 build. No one is 'ditching' anybody, things just take time.

I would like to, but idk where to start. Cnote would be a better person to port it. Oh, and btw, dev said gsm is online and connected to at&t HSDPA. He's blazing fast at fixing it!

Btw, the problems with the ROM is no superuser. Go got andoidsu.com/superuser/ and download 3.2-RC2 and the binary. Choose the ARM version
Edit: I know the HTC Vision section will have one tomorrow, according to one dev. If that one does have trackpad working and all the other stuff, hope someone can port it. Idk if I can, not experienced enough

The Desire S has a jellybean rom, but isnt as stable as this one. Hopefully we'll also get a rom built from scratch (source). I'd love to port, help out, and develop. I got an intro programming class this coming semester. Where did you learn to port? The forums here? I'm really interested
