[APP][2.2+]Wiki Lecturer Free/Pro - Android Apps and Games

We here at ArcDatum are trying to get some feedback on our new applications Wiki Lecturer Free and Wiki Lecturer Pro. It basically combines Wikipedia and Music player features to create your own personal educational audio book containing all the world's knowledge. Android is supported for now and we need to test its viability as a useful app before porting it to other platforms.
Some features:
Reads your article to you using Text-to-Speech
Lets you build play queues (just like playlists in music players)
Has image zoom capability (something we found that wiki apps don't have; basically it lets you click any image link and it'll grab the full size version for you)
Supports many languages both for reading and in Text-to-Speech
Many more
Do note that some of the greatest features (like playing in the background and the widget) are only available in the Pro version for obvious reasons.
Free version:

Pro version:
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.arcdatum.wikilecturerPro&feature=search_result
Note: You can just look up "Wiki Lecturer" in the Play store and you'll find us. In other languages like French it might be "Wiki Professeur" etc. We will update this post with the actual play links when XDA lets us.
You can find our app logo in the attachments.
Please do remember that our app is in it's early stages and that we are looking to improve it according to user concerns. We are not necessarily looking for a full review at this time but if you feel that the app is ready for one, do let us know.
If you have any questions, comments, or ideas as to how we can further our marketing efforts you can contact us at [email protected]
Edit: added the Google Play links

Free Song of the day app for Google Music?

Is there a app that gives notification of the Google Music free song of the day?
Similar to how this app:
https://market.android.com/details?id=com.apperhand.amazon.appstore.free.app.of.the.day
Notifies of the free Amazon App Store free app of the day?
Sent from A Team Kang Powered VZW 4G LTE G-Nex
Yes Please! ...and how about all the other free songs on Google Play Music?
I second this inquery and move to inform of possible solutions for google music free song of the day/free song collection/antenna free song , anyone?
free song of the day is listed on the main page:
https://play.google.com/store/music?hl=en
it is down a little bit after the 'best deals' section. On the free song of the day is a link for 'more free music':
https://play.google.com/store/music...theme_2011_10_29?feature=free-song-of-the-day
Their free song of the day, I guess actually came from blog Magnifier:
http://magnifier.blogspot.com/
which hosted features for people to find/discover new music, and of course a free song of the day.
apparently the blog not only had a free song of the day, but had a segment called "Antenna" with free samplers, which seemed to be monthly 'editor picks', would be a good way to describe what it was before.... usually of a new release OR an independent / lesser known band complete with reviews....
http://magnifier.blogspot.com/search/label/Antenna
Antenna, as with the 'song of the day' also merged into google play music, and is now stating "ANTENNA SAMPLER: Google Play's monthly free sampler is back with more new hip-hop, indie, electronic, country and Latin pop." which seems to be a selection of several artists, ~10 tracks, with an opening few paragraphs talking about that month's selection... it is found (took me a while) at the bottom of the main store page, on the left below the graphic that says "Free Music" (not the same link... which is misleading), the link is the actual text that says "ANTENNA": https://play.google.com/store/music/collection/series_overview_antenna_2010140_ant_antenna_march
it looks like it is actually a 'collection' which there are other collections to the right of "free music".
The original Magnifier blog also had "Scanner", which provided free samples of different GENRES of music:
http://magnifier.blogspot.com/search/label/Scanner
In the Google Music store, I am not sure where to find this at all - however I do believe it is the same as when you first create an account (or maybe it was when first logging in, or downloading the 'music manager' desktop program) and it offered to add free music based on the genres you selected..... IF anyone knows where to find the free music GENRE sections within Google Play Music, please let me know!!
Also, The original Magnifier blog contained video interviews with various artists... new releases, new artists, up and coming, independent, etc... However, the video features usually contained a selection of free songs as well:
http://magnifier.blogspot.com/search/label/Video Feature
The link to the google play store works:
https://play.google.com/store/music/collection/series_overview_videofeature_20100c2_vid_dr_dog
However, I cannot figure out where this 'video features' section is and how to get to them from the Google Play site... again, if you know - please let me know
And last, there was a 'free songs archive', a banner on the side of the page... I believe this is the same as the ''more free music" link on the song of the day:
https://play.google.com/store/music...011_10_29?feature=free-song-of-the-day#?t=W10.
free songs url from the magnifier banner link:
https://play.google.com/store/music/collection/series_overview_theme_2011_10_29
However, it does not provide the entire 'archive' to view but it seems to change once a week?? I'm not sure....
SOOOOO There are SEVERAL placed to get free music from Google Play Music store.... some of them I can't even find anymore, and don't know exactly how they name the 'collections' as it isn't a generic link, but changes with each new weekly/monthly 'free samplers'....
For example:
Searching "google play music magnifier" came up with this result, an old video feature:
https://play.google.com/store/music/collection/series_overview_videofeature_2011_10_26?hl=en
Searching "google play music antenna" came up with several different old antenna collections:
most recent -
https://play.google.com/store/music/collection/series_overview_antenna_2010140_ant_antenna_march
older results -
https://play.google.com/store/music/collection/series_overview_antenna_2012_01_12?hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/music...iew_antenna_2010019_ant_antenna_october?hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/music...ew_antenna_20100d5_ant_antenna_december?hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/music/collection/series_overview_antenna_2012_01_11
https://play.google.com/store/music/collection/series_overview_antenna_20100fb_ant_jan_antenna?hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/music/collection/series_overview_antenna_2010121_ant_feb_antenna?hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/music/collection/series_overview_antenna_2012_01_13?hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/music/collection/series_overview_antenna_2012_01_13?hl=en
These seem more like the original blog's "Antenna" in that it is about a single album by an artist, with a paragraph of info about the artist/band:
https://play.google.com/store/music/collection/series_overview_antenna_2011_10_27?hl=en
https://play.google.com/store/music/collection/series_overview_antenna_2012_01_10?hl=en
Either these (a specific artist on Antenna) or the "Video Features" with free songs to download -I think- are related to all the albums titled:
"(Artist Name): Live at Google" by (Artist) or simply "Live @ Google" by (Artist)
Which so far seem to all be free... Also, all the album 'cover art' for these albums also have a similar grey bar that says "[email protected]" as if it is the album name, regardless of which of the two album titles above is used.
Other than being able to make out the year (2012) and dates on some of these links, and then not using the year anymore on newer ones but a 2010xx link of some sort, I can't seem to make sense of how to check regularly other than going through the google music play store and hoping the Antenna section is there and hoping I can find out where to find the Video Features section...
Of course all the links have "/music/collections/series_overview_".... in the url, however I have seen nothing to indicate searching collections or finding links to 'series'.... Again, if you know something I've missed - please let me know!!!
Hopefully there is a program / app or something that can inform (or possibly automate the 'add'?), for at least the free song of the day? As that seems to be one of the many sources of free music on Google Play Music that would be easy to locate and has a 'feature=free song of the day' URL that likely(?) stays the same...
thanks for any help guys! :fingers-crossed:

I know it's been a while since you asked, but maybe some else will stumble across this thread looking for it.
I have written a free app just for this. It is called "Free Song of the Day" in the Play Store. Search for FSOTD or download it here;
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=com.taggahertz.freesongoftheday
I would really appreciate any feedback. I have just released it and I am sure there could be some improvements. I will even be willing to send you a premium version of the app for free if you PM me and are willing to test it out.
Also, if anyone has any good ideas on how to promote Android apps to get more downloads, I'd be more than interested. Thanks.

Looks interesting but not available in the U.K. I would also suggest you create your own thread to publicize your app.

[GAME][2.2+] TicTacToe FREE

Greetings all,
Today I released my first app on Google Play Store, and would like to know your opinions especially because I have tested it on only three devices - HTC Desire and One V, and Samsung Galaxy Fit. The game was written as my first app for android a long time ago, with A LOT of documentation online, and I decided tu publish it as a small test for upcoming apps and games.
It's free of ads, and has the sole purpose of learning, so if you install and want to be of assistance, I will be very grateful. Contact me here, or on the developer e-mail (if you do so, please say you are from xda): [email protected]
Be sincere, I know it is a very simple app and the next one that I am working on right now will be far better, but please use an appropriate language.
If you reply here include:

[APP][2.2+]A Last of Us Soundboard app

New to the forums (and to Android for the most part) with my first non-classmade app. I made a soundboard for the game The Last of Us. Trying to get some android exposure for resume building and to continue development for apps. Link for the app. You can just search for southardsoftware to find the app (it won't let me post yet). Sorry I am a complete newb to the forum here.
What it does - pretty obvious for the most part - a user can set a ringtone, notification, or alarm to the various quotes from the game I included in the app, or just play them. I did it as a project inbetween classes to learn more about android, and pay homage to one of my favorite video games of all time. Please feel free to let me know what you think!

[APP][4.0][Unit Converter 246]

Take a look at this free Unit Converter application which does popular conversions such as metric, length, weight, cooking etc.
No ads.
Fast and easy to use.
Frequent updates.
Unit Converter 246
To view more details, please visit Google Play Store and search for Unit Converter 246 .
Can someone post up the link to the Google Play store for the application, I am a new user so I dont have enough permissions.
Thanks
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=unitconverter.infotechsolutions.bb&hl=en
Thanks a lot.
Will be releasing an updated version with more conversion categories shortly.
Slight issue with the title which was corrected. I had the program version rather than the Android minimum version.
Are there any specific features or issues or feedback that persons want to provide before I release the next version.

[APP][4.3+]SabotCommunity 0.1a (Social media for video gamers)

Hi, everyone! I have an app that is currently in alpha, English and Android 4.3+ only.
TLDR: I built a social media platform for gamers to review games, find others to play with via LFG (Looking For Group), review the players they play with (5 star system), create clans, interact with one-another publicly or privately, and more.
Screenshots can be found here: imgur. com/a/1XY9wSB I apologize this isn't the greatest avenue of mobile screenshots...
Reason:
As a gamer, finding good players to team with is ridiculously hard. Finding others that own and use mics and want to work as a team? Almost impossible. What if you could find new players that weren't totally random, and were able to vet them before playing together? What if you could create a community of like-minded gamers and form a clan?
About me:
I'm a single developer, doing my best to learn and grow. You can find me on the app by searching "@brendan_abbott_1" or "PipingHotGatorade".
About the app:
I've worked hard to bring this to the table, but I understand it isn't perfect. It clearly isn't polished, but I've spent a lot of time building best-practices for security and reliability.
The future:
Plain and simple; It will ALWAYS remain free to my users, but there will be small ads I implement myself.
If you're interested in giving it a shot, the link for download is on my website for direct download as I'm not on Google Play yet. I'm very open to discussing issues, as I know there will be some.

Thanks for reading!
