AFTER FLASHING CASTAGNAIT'S KERNEL,YOU CANNOT GIVE ME BUG REPORTS,BECAUSE I RECOMMEND IVENDOR'S KERNEL FOR V4. BUT IF YOU WANT USE CASTAGNAIT'S KERNEL. IT IS TOTALLY COMPATIBLE.

Yrah...it's a big problem but what we can do if developers don't know how to fix it?!? We can only try all those roms and prey that sometimes camera works!!

did the download complete fully? download again to check the size. and if it fails again,use cm9 recovery.

There are so much ICS roms at the time !
Its really nice to see more but it would be good if all the bugs in CM9 and the other roms are going to be fixed instead making new roms with similar boorriinng bugs!
Have to be fixed:
- Camera bug (not just third part apps!)
- USB thetering
- Wifi thetering
Its better to have ONE reallly good rom instead a lot of roms with similar bugs!

How would you want a "really good rom" if all the custom roms with ics have the same CM9 base? You should thank arco for making it for our device and that he tries to fix all the bugs like the camera and tethering and also oisis and all the devs and tester. When they succeed all the ics roms will be stable. You should blame Samsung because they did not make ics available for us and they should support the consequences or at least make the drivers available for the developers so that they can continue their work with no problems

look when the camera get fixs, OP will release an update. in the meantime stick to GB for a stable rom and use some ICS launcher. u wont die

You guyz are forgetting that this is a development thread... doesnt matter if they all have the same bugs... think of it this way, when one of the has the bugs fixed the rest will follow... till then its good to have different roms... just be thankful to the developers who are bringing a wide assortment of roms for a device which had nothing more than modified stock roms till we got a stable CM9/AOSP/AOKP thanks to arco and other developers...

You sir should not ask such a "stupid" question this early... the rom just landed today... instead of asking how the battery life is, you should try it yourself and leave feedback which would be more helpful...

I like very much this rom, because it has the s3 menu icons (like TWICS-Addon for CM9-nightlies mod) and the s3 task bar notification icons (signal, wifi, 3g, ...) (like S3Experience rom). Furthermore, ultra performance, ultra smoothness.
On the other hand, I have 2 serious problems. 1. Many apps like accuweather widget, samsung apps, voice recorder are not in the menu although there are in system/app, google collection and walkman music player are playing only content (pictures - music) from internal sd card and 2. google play (market) cannot install in this rom apps like dictaphone, endomondo, viber and many other important apps. Please, fix it and will be the best s3 "like" ics rom! Thank's!

It's too laggy because it was in Alpha 6 and I was using the screencapture app. I will record another video and upload it for you, but I've tried and is really fast. I recommend you the AOKP ROM better than CM9 (if you want CM9 choose dhiru's version)

this stuff is already there in remics which is based on cm9 and most of the stuff from this is also present in my aokp rom

I have been trying it works fine with dhiru's Alfa11, it is almost same as RemICS rom.

Yes, it is the same. I have updated a ittle bit the post and put on our phone's section, so it's visible. Many users don't care about the CM9 themes for other phones. But this customizzation is really impressive

The ROM is quite smooth.. but there are few issues to look into..
1. Cant set alarms, clock force closes..
2. Bluetooth doesnt turn on, have to restart to turn on bluetooth..
3. the messaging app in the CM10 was better, with the quick reply and pop up option.. it would have been better if u could include that..
4. Calculator app is still the old GB type.. newer ICS calc would look good i guess..
5. Update me app doesnt work, yes ofcourse its mentioned in the OP..
Apart from these, everything else works just fine.. thnx for this ROM..!

Installing theme will replace your Settings.apk, if you are on Kyrillos ROM and do not want to lose the clock functions,
delete Settings.apk from the zip file (I will port the theme for his Settings when I have the time)​

Flashing will randomly fail, if this happens, just flash the file again.
Tried TWRP and CWM but still fails? Use this kernel instead

I had seen your signature yday saying about this holobean theme thing and after some non-resulting research I wanted to ask you about it but yeah it is soo hanging from that I wanna ask about this hex1n rom, do you intend to share that too or something?

HeX1nE is Holo Bean's father. LOL. It's an ULTRA Lite ROM I use daily and for theming/testing stuff. There's no point sharing it though.

It already has 1% icons. Some screens were before the final build, one was even at beta.

4.2 gapps will not work. It will cause keyboard to crash. What is the problem with camera ?

Yes. But the themes are from Miui and it covers a lot of places compared to CM with font theming including 3rd party apps, customized lock screen, toggles on status bar, better battery life, integrated error reporter, theme store, smooth performance and fixes for lot of bugs.

help!
The ROM does not read my internal storage. However it shows my external storage under settings but I can't download anything or use the camera. It tells me I have no external storage to download to. Any ideas?

on another note would like to see the internal sd swapped for the external sdcard.

Bug report.
I have found one issue with bazooka unresponsive after reboot. Bazooka also forgets what theme it had after reboot, forcing me to reapply the theme. Other than that no issues so far.

cant download anything of thr market getting error reading rpc:s-5:aec-0

I can't get Bluetooth to communicate with my obd car scanner, I could on cm10 nightlys but can't with this one, any ideas on how to fix this are welcome...
