Yrah...it's a big problem but what we can do if developers don't know how to fix it?!? We can only try all those roms and prey that sometimes camera works!!

did the download complete fully? download again to check the size. and if it fails again,use cm9 recovery.

How would you want a "really good rom" if all the custom roms with ics have the same CM9 base? You should thank arco for making it for our device and that he tries to fix all the bugs like the camera and tethering and also oisis and all the devs and tester. When they succeed all the ics roms will be stable. You should blame Samsung because they did not make ics available for us and they should support the consequences or at least make the drivers available for the developers so that they can continue their work with no problems

You guyz are forgetting that this is a development thread... doesnt matter if they all have the same bugs... think of it this way, when one of the has the bugs fixed the rest will follow... till then its good to have different roms... just be thankful to the developers who are bringing a wide assortment of roms for a device which had nothing more than modified stock roms till we got a stable CM9/AOSP/AOKP thanks to arco and other developers...

You sir should not ask such a "stupid" question this early... the rom just landed today... instead of asking how the battery life is, you should try it yourself and leave feedback which would be more helpful...

I like very much this rom, because it has the s3 menu icons (like TWICS-Addon for CM9-nightlies mod) and the s3 task bar notification icons (signal, wifi, 3g, ...) (like S3Experience rom). Furthermore, ultra performance, ultra smoothness.
On the other hand, I have 2 serious problems. 1. Many apps like accuweather widget, samsung apps, voice recorder are not in the menu although there are in system/app, google collection and walkman music player are playing only content (pictures - music) from internal sd card and 2. google play (market) cannot install in this rom apps like dictaphone, endomondo, viber and many other important apps. Please, fix it and will be the best s3 "like" ics rom! Thank's!

The ROM is quite smooth.. but there are few issues to look into..
1. Cant set alarms, clock force closes..
2. Bluetooth doesnt turn on, have to restart to turn on bluetooth..
3. the messaging app in the CM10 was better, with the quick reply and pop up option.. it would have been better if u could include that..
4. Calculator app is still the old GB type.. newer ICS calc would look good i guess..
5. Update me app doesnt work, yes ofcourse its mentioned in the OP..
Apart from these, everything else works just fine.. thnx for this ROM..!

I flashed it and it's sweet! From Paranoid I enjoy the way you combine it with AOKP. Plus the AROMA installer is just excellent.
Problems so far: In google play I cannot install any app,it said:" this app is not compatible with your device", maybe build.prop problem? Wasn't a problem for me I use another app...
I also found a little problem beetween Paranoid and AOKP LCD density, as you guess those can't stand each other and LCD density will have to go out because for now even if I put 152p for my statubars it still look like its 240p.
For the battery life I can't say anything as always guys you will have to wait more than 2 days before feedbacks.

Can you also integrate the 4.2 keyboard into it as other 4.2 apps. Makes the transition complete!!!
Also, noticed in PAC man rom v16, whenever you try to set navigation buttons color using rom control it doesn't work. Also the standard white is restored on each boot. Same is the case in this rom. While in PAC man rom v15 it worked flawlessly from rom control.

The new camera and gallery is also working fine. But confused about sphere mode.
And yes, Facebook is working good here. First CM9/CM10 ROM in which wi-fi data flow is visible inside icon, same as mobile data .

I did not receive any error either Software Update or install programs from the Market
Been changing ROM for some time and think this is the one I was looking for, the best JB ROM I've tried til now. Battery looks good, only 30% for 12 hours with 3G data always on, mails and FB push notifications, many messages, some calls (I use revolution kernel with smartass v2, 300-1200, sio scheduler). Many customisations with PA, CM and AOKP settings.

nice! i also ported it but i didn't manage to fully theme the framework-res.apk because of the leak of time. you should talk to james the adrministrator of the remics-jb and tell him to add you to the group. we can work togheter as a team,if you want!
What about built-in camera app? What are the problems there?

If you want to take a photo download a camera from playstore because native cam doesnt take photos with kernel 3.0.
kernel 2.6 version will come tomorrow

Kernel + USB working on other Roms?
Does this Kernel + USB work on other Jellybean Roms (Slimbean) ? i guess you have to compile your rom with an 3.x Kernel right?
This time I dont care if the op is in remics team or not. Cause I've been waiting for this to be released for our phone. Anyways its there fault for not releasing a remics jb for us

ok, it's amazing, but I have two problems(Russian location)
1) I don't have a lockscreen
2)In attach, but please don't remove russian letters, if there is an another way.

Finally X Power is here, the ROM is all about battery and smoothness, not hottest mods, beta releases etc.
This ROM is stock like, no theaming. just small mods. I'll always try to get out the best battery life with phone running smooth as silk.
I'll will not be first to release new roms as battery optimize & smoothness takes a bit of time.

Skipping tracks in spotify with longpress vol up/down would be awesome as well. No one seems to be able to fix that? :/ Starts stock music player every time..

I added battery tweaks to build.prop & i even use this rom last whole night, used cm 10.2 & cm 10.1 before,
this battery life gives me satisfy

-Its smoother than CM 10.1 with kernel v2.6
-offline charging is not fixed in kernel 2.6
-BLN has support only for kernel 3
this ROM is CM10 (TheWhisps) build with kernel v2.6
one of the best rom i have even seen cuz some difficult things i tried to make and i couldn't specialy toggles hope to do more
and can we flash kernal 3x on it ?

Nooo... don't even try kernel v3 on this rom, its based on CM10 & there is no v3 kernel for CM10 yet.
If you try any one from currently available v3 kernels, it will cause shiny hard brick.
