I am having Motorola Milestone xt720 (android 2.1) in which orientation doesn't work automatically but if i enabled it and if the screen is in landscape mode then it continuously remain in landscape..so have to disable it manually to get back into normal mode.
Checking using AndroSensor it reports :
Accelerometer: Failed to start :Unknown error
Orientation : Failed to start :Unknow error
So is it a hardware problem or some application problem ?

hi all,
suddenly ActiveSync (v4.1) stopped working with my 8310, apparently after I've updated Office 2003 to SP2.
- AS detects connected mobile, but it only shows Connecting and nothing happens.
- AS process rapimgr.exe eats all my CPU, regardless of whether the mobile is connected or not.
- AS log file wceslog.log shows these errors (repeatedly)
03/23/2006 17:19:42.458 p(4024) t(4064) TraceToFile -> ERROR in CRAPIDesktopPrivate::ReceiveConnection : hr = 0x80070006 - RAPIDesktopPriv.cpp(372)

CRAPIListener::AcceptConnection : hr = 0x80070006 - rapiconnection.cpp(268)
I haven't found any desc for 0x80070006 code
- reinstall of AS didn't help
- reinstall of Office didn't help
any ideas? thanx...
Call Microsoft support centre and provide them the log trace.

CRAPI as in CRAP API ????
Someone in MS has a sense of humour
fixed by:
- uninstalling AS4.1
- installing AS3.8 (still not working)
- installing AS4.1 over AS3.8 (working again)
When trying to perform LoadLibrary function on "bthlink.dll" driver -
In debug mode:
I get "No Source Code Is Available".
Not in debug mode :
I just get an error loading it.
I noticed that if im using LoadLibraryEx with the flags param of - LOAD_LIBRARY_AS_DATAFILE, it does work but i cant invoke its functions.
What can I do and why this is happening?
thanks.
So basically i failed to flash + install cwm , and now tablet isn't working. Problem is that tablet is no more seen by windows as RK29 , but as unknown device and any drivers didn't help. RK29 update tool , rkbatchtool and adb doesnt detect him. Tablet couldnt be switched off nor set in service mode by physical home button, it just turn by himself on. Physical reset button works.
Also tried with (had hope it in some kind help) inserting sdcard with android img and nothing. Any ideas ? (hope there is better solution than nand programator device).
device ID
USB\DEVICE_DESCRIPTOR_FAILURE
-physical object name
\Device\USBPDO-9
-device status
code 43
also found that after usb cable plugin Rockchip goes incredibly hot.

Anybody found how to set R75 into Mask Rom mode ?
nand model is : hynix h27ubg8t2btr , 4gb version
I have a Digiflip ET701 tab, which initially had android 4.2.2. It got updated to a new firmware(build number ET701_V1_20141023), and then to android 4.4.2(kernel version 3.10.20) through system update. Ever since, the wifi doesn't turn on. Whenever I try to turn on wifi, the button stays greyed out. The right pane keeps up the old message "to see available networks, turn wifi on". After any amount of time, it never turns on. The button stays (unresponsive) in the on position, and greyed out.
I restored it to factory settings, both through android settings and the recovery software(which is accessed by pressing power button+volume down), but it didn't solve the problem.
To understand what was happening, I installed adb on my laptop, and tried to look for occurrences of "wifi", "wlan", "net" etc. in the logcat outputs.
Here are some (I think) relevant results:
When I try to turn on wifi from settings, it gives:
D/WifiService( 477): setWifiEnabled: true pid=822, uid=1000
When I turn airplane mode off and then on, it shows this:
E/WifiHW ( 477): wifi_get_vendor: prop wlan.driver.vendor is not set!
And when I reboot the device, it gives this:
W/InterfaceController( 141): Warning (dlopen failed: library "/system/lib/libnetcmdiface.so" not found) while opening the net interface command library
Any help/ideas?
Thanks in advance.
Do you still use this device?
A humble request from all ET701 users, please upload TWRP/cwm backup to Dropbox or Google drive..
My device is stuck in bootloop and there's no stock firmware available anywhere
Note. For taking backup please refer to the thread in XDA for temporary recovery for Intel devices
My device info:
Build number: rk3368-userdebug 9 PQ2A.190205.003 eng.hct2.20190411.192110 test-keys
Kernel version: 4.4.167
MCU version: MTCE_GS_V3.07_3
In settings menu I don't see lot of std android settings (probably hidden for normal user).
I would like to enable split screen (it is disabled by default - 7 inch screen), but I can not enter developer options.
Standard android way with tapping build number is not working.
I also tried apps (e.g. "developer options) but it does not work - it shows "First enabled developer options".
I also tried rooting (simple way) with code (*#htc#root#) in factory settings, and with kingoroot. It does not work.
Do I need use adb for that?
Additionally clock is not working properly. After vehicle shutdown signal - radio is falling a sleep. After wakeup it looks like time freeze.
If I activate GPS time adjust it makes clock late 30 minutes.
If I activate internet time update it makes clock late 1h - probably because of winter / summer time switch, but I don't see that setting (also hidden).
Any help would be pleasent
I would try to change to stock rom.
But Im not sure if that would be even possible if I do not enable developer options first and next usb debug to access adb and flash mode.
Maybe it could be done by MCU update file? somehow make it to change system configuration?

for what vehicle is that HU ?
i have same for opel, and have problems with stering wheel buttons, when i press next or back button it react like i press it 2 or 3 times :/
do you know how to enter recovery in that unit? maybe flash other MCU file ?
It is my device
https://xtrons.com/renault-megane-iii-fluence-android-9-0-pa79mg3rip
For me wheel buttons work well.
However try to check factory settings
Settings > Factory settings > enter code (126 in my case) > Keys
I have there option to change CAN bus to proper vehicle model.
Unfortunetaly I don't have experience with flashing such devices. Until now I was flashing only smartphones.
There were lot of tutorials how to do that. For Android auto HU I dont know even how to start.
For smartphone you could enter recovery by adb, but first you need unlock USB debugging. If you have access to developer options you could do that - that is not my cas.. sadly.
EDIT:
I found solution for time issue
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=72946736&postcount=4
EDIT2:
Better solution
1. Get root
https://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=76725981&postcount=740
2. Use that app
https://play.google.com/store/apps/details?id=ru.org.amip.ClockSync&hl=pl
EDIT3:
1. Malaysk ROM!!!
Clock work without any problem, I have split screen on my 7 inch device
