HI. Please help me! I wasn't able to modify an article on the WIKI (wiki.xda-developers.com).
All the time I press the "Edit" Button, FireFox give me the option to download the php file :?: :?:  WEIRD
The address I was modifying was:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=List of HimaUpgradeUt.exe Error Code
After trying it several times, I could get inside and edit the page, then I saved it, and now is BLANK!!!!
HEEEEELLPPPP
The contets of the page at the time of my edit were:

This error is a bit misleading. The BAUpdate tool is trying to switch the phone into bootloader mode, and the phone for some reason is being uncooperative. This happens to me from time to time. The best, and quickest way around this is to force the phone into Bootloader manually. By pressing the record button, while doing a hard reset (Power + Reset) your phone will enter bootloader mode. You can verify this as the screen will say, Serial, and change to USB when you cradle it.
Once you cradle your phone, Windows will detect it as new hardware, and take a minute or two configure the right driver(Microsoft USB Sync). Once this is complete, you can run the BAUpgrade utility again, and this time you should get past error 201.

Hi,
I tried it too & have simular probs in changing any wiki page @ the moment. IMHO there's something wrong on the serverside cause the text is still present but compilation into a page fails.
Try again later is my suggestion.
Cheers, M
Yup, I thought it was a temporary problem. Moreover, I'm having the same strange behaviour in some wiki links.
For instance:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BA_Versions
It is the first link on this page:
http://wiki.xda-developers.com/index.php?pagename=BA_FAQ_Upgrade_Radio
Thanks for your answer. I'll try later........

If the problem persists you can always pm 'peter poelman' or another moderator, maybe they can fix it.
The way it is now, we'll have a very empty wiki soon. Luckily the preview shows the same errors & peolpe should be warned by that, so as long as people don't save any changes to a page...
Luckily, I think you can allways get an older version of the page.
Cheers

Ok learned something again, I didn't know that.
I am having Motorola Milestone xt720 (android 2.1) in which orientation doesn't work automatically but if i enabled it and if the screen is in landscape mode then it continuously remain in landscape..so have to disable it manually to get back into normal mode.
Checking using AndroSensor it reports :
Accelerometer: Failed to start :Unknown error
Orientation : Failed to start :Unknow error
So is it a hardware problem or some application problem ?
So basically i failed to flash + install cwm , and now tablet isn't working. Problem is that tablet is no more seen by windows as RK29 , but as unknown device and any drivers didn't help. RK29 update tool , rkbatchtool and adb doesnt detect him. Tablet couldnt be switched off nor set in service mode by physical home button, it just turn by himself on. Physical reset button works.
Also tried with (had hope it in some kind help) inserting sdcard with android img and nothing. Any ideas ? (hope there is better solution than nand programator device).
device ID
USB\DEVICE_DESCRIPTOR_FAILURE
-physical object name
\Device\USBPDO-9
-device status
code 43
also found that after usb cable plugin Rockchip goes incredibly hot.
bump
Anybody found how to set R75 into Mask Rom mode ?

Hello,
I came across a LG G2 D800 and was looking to fix the screen and basically refurbish the phone. However it doesnt boot past fastboot. I am able to get to the stock "recovery" and usb mode but my computer will not recognize it. All i get is the USB device not recognized window. When the phone gets to fastboot mode it says:
[1700] Fastboot mode started
it does recognize being plugged into usb and will continue to give me 10 more lines with random numbers increasing in the brackets like this:
[1700] Fastboot mode started
[1820] - reset -
[1910] - portchange -
[1970] - reset -
[1980] - portchange -
[2440] - reset -
[2450] - portchange -
[2910] - reset -
[2920] - portchange -
[3380] - reset -
[3390] - portchange -
That is when it will stop printing until i unplug and replug the device from the computer.
My computer is currently running Windows 7 ultimate x64. I have tried different driver versions, different flashing tools, and different modes on the phone. each of them come up as unrecognized.
I have searched all over the web and keep coming across people that can only access fastboot or download mode, never both. Im hoping someone can help me here. Thank you. Any input is appreciated.
what is the device listed at in device manager? QHUSB_9006, QHUSB_9008, G2, Android Phone, etc etc.
It shows up as unknown device with mass storage devices

I ran into both the problems you described, though not at the same time, and eventually found solutions for both.
The long list of tons of drives (and no Download mode) is fairly easy to fix thanks to the solution at:
http://forum.xda-developers.com/lg-...lcomm-9006-t2939627/post56739916#post56739916
To simplify, just download his premade package for the D800 (he lists other versions in the description of his YouTube video) at https://mega.nz/#!mN0SkDpb!1R36L-F05b8LxXXzcGwBctKgLEACz88X5OuIqwNdezM
and also download and install the Qualcomm drivers from here:
http://www.mediafire.com/download/pba9wajnehr9qwg/Qualcomm+USB+Drivers.rar
In the instructions he shows Computer Management, a Windows tool. If you are unfamiliar, you can find it under Control Panel -> System and Security -> Administrative tools (click on it)
