[ Micromax A110 ] tablet mode for your mmx a110

Hey guys here's the modded services.jar file that I made for our mmx a110. Replacing the services.jar file in your phablets with this one will enable tablet mode on the mmx a110. The tablet mode is enabled when u change the dpi to 128. So in case you want to revert back to stock(mobile) UI the you just need to change the dpi back to 240. You can also include this mod I your rooms if you like, by don't frgt to mention the creator. If you like my work, then please click the thanks button.

Edit: As you may have noticed after applying this mod. Apps have very small text. And also some apps that we'd prefer to have in phone UI are also using tab UI. There's a app to solve this. But it seems to keep force closing. It would be really great if some developers could help in getting this app to work.

Change the title to [MMX] or [Micromax]

Thanks (already hit the Thanks button ) for this mode, I must say good work.
Though I have not tried it yet but I still got couple of questions.
1) I guess Android does not support DPI less then 138 hence have set bare-minimum DPI as 160 for any of the devices. You are asking for 128 which may lead to crashing the apps and probably, the system itself.
2) I have been using custom DPI for a long time, this time I am using 190 since it's somewhat a middle between 160~240, will the Tablet mode work if I keep using it with 190 DPI?
3) You have mentioned, if anybody want's to go back to STOCK mode, they just have to go back to 240. Can 190 work, what is the maximum DPI which can make the TABLET mode work? Going 128 will do no good but harm in terms of very tiny TEXT and FCs.

Don't worry 128 won't cause any system fail.
I agree text will be small but u can increase text size in display and accessibility settings.
If 190 has worked before, it will even work after flashing this file.although I can confirm that 160 "may" crash systemui.
Still maximum dpi to enable tablet mode is 128.

Can you upload a flash able zip because when I try to replace services.jar with adb or root explorer ..my phone stops responding..& when I change the density..the systemui starts force closing..I think it can be fixed by disabling compability mode through spare part's..which can be downloaded from play store..can u make a flashale..with modded build.prop & services.jar with fixed permissions..

[Q] System Apps Responsible for calling

Hello all,
I just installed jmp v9
and i see that the ''CONNECTING VIBRATIONS'" is not available in that
But it is available in cynus t2 based roms. So if I need to copy certain system apps from cynus rom and replace in the v9
What are the apps that needs to be replaced, I replaced phone.apk but after that I cannot dial or receive call
It shows a error message 'Voice Call not supported"
So Please tell me, what r the system apps to be copied in order to make and receive calls with CONNECTING VIBRATIONS ON

i think you have missed a system file .. so try to reflash it and download the new rom from somewhere else .. hit thanks if i helped

Can anyone please provide a mod that would add a navbar at the bottom of the screen just like we have in nexus and few other devices like in Micromax A90S..?? Any help is appreciated..

Bro There are no Option Of Navigation Bar in Tools Menu ...

to get a navbar like nexus devices,
**Your phone needs to be ROOTED**
go to root folder
enter the folder /system
there you will find a file build.prop
open it in text editor
find a line written
#Additional build properties
at the end of that block u will find a line like
davlik.vm.stack. . . . . . . . . . . . . . .traces.txt
after that line add a new line
qemu.hw.mainkeys=0
save and exit...
reboot..
voila.. u have a navbar like nexus......

guys help me how to add water touch sound like s3 and note2 in micromax a110 like typing any message or touch anything:crying::crying:

activate touch sound and lock sound options in Settings>Audio Profile

There is some app on play store of water ripple lockscreen but those are just ok laggy i suggest u to flash some roms which has inbuilt water lockscreen of s4 ... grand rom v3 and patch water lockscreen ... suvi v14 has water locker , cangalaxy s4 rom has water locker .... :beer:

copy the zip to your SD card.. reboot to recovery... install zip from SD card.. select the zip and install.. reboot :good:

Thanks for the flash file. Once i am done with flash but i have the samsung ringtones, but how to change it in MMX A110 because in your profile i dont have option to change the lock sound .
Can you please help me out.

lock & unlock sound resides in
system > media > audio > ui > Lock.ogg (lock sound) & Unlock.ogg (unlock sound)
for changing these you need to copy your lock sounds in the above location but remember to delete the original files first and also to give the permissions accordingly..
above steps can be done only by using any root explorer.. :good:

Thanks for the reply. I have installed flashed the patch you have given and installed the root explorer also. I went into the system path and see the file you have mentioned both are available and i played it there and it played well.
But when i try to lock and unlock the phone its not working for me. Its not working when i select the user profile created by me. But in general user profile its working fine for me. Why this is happening..?
Can you please help me how i can fix this issue.?

Check on Touch sounds & Screen Lock sound at the end of your profile settings

Hello Bro.. i can't suggest you any app but i do have a flashable AROMA Installer zip.. that means you can choose your font while flashing the zip and just need to flash the zip again to choose another one...

first download the sound file ,then place it in root>sysytem>media>audio>find the touch sound ogg file and replace ur downloaded with this file and rename it.done. hit thanksif helped

In ics roms we can see thumbnail pic of apps why cant in jb ??

Hello frnds this is just a small question n i hv been searching in all the forums but not found any solution even in google search ..
In any Ics roms we can see apk in thumbnail pic but in jelly bean when we go in sd card and see apk files it does'nt show icons in thumbnail view ?
We can see icons thumbnail in jb by some root file manager download from playstore though
but why cant in default filemanager ??
I hope u know what i mean to say ...

Ok finally after installing lots of File manager i hv found a best File manager for jellybean or any other roms ...
Fylee File manager ...
1) slide to external sd ,
Reverse slide to internal..
2) no adds..
3) shows icons of apk files..
4) very nice and fast ...
5) no root access ... thats what i wanted ...
Ok FINALLY I found it thanks i will make it as a system app ...
I was asking as a question in this topic .. turned out i myself found solution and now this might help to others lol ok thanks
