I understand the difference is that the "TG" has 3G capabilities, however, all the development for the TF300T will it still work with the TF300TG?

All the jb roms should work on the 101g but the 3g part will not work. It always takes a little while to get a compalitability pack together but you will see it eventually

Hey guys, I'd like to think I'm pretty tech savy. But this whole rooting thing has so many different guides, with so many different methods. So my question is what is the most updated rooting method for someone on JB 10.4.2.13 Asus transformer Tf300t. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I use it every time I update.
Unlocked bootloader is required for this. You cannot root with a locked bootloader.

I'm still looking for a Lollipop rom for the TF300TG, i insist on the G, because this model has 3G feature the TF300T don't. And for web navigation, without WiFi spot, it's EXTREMELY interesting having this one functional.
