Please keep in mind this is offered as a free alternative to the paid kernel configuration apps. This application is not being developed for profit and should not be evaluated as a replacement for current paid alternatives.
Issues should be reported by clicking the "View Website" link in the "Developer" section of "Additional Information" and not through reviews.
Please allow 24 - 48 hours after an issue has been reported. The reviews should not be used as a method to coerce faster updates via 1-star ratings.
StarKissed is meant to provide easy access to the kernel options that many apps will empty your pockets to configure without the need for remembering which application went with which kernel or having to shell out a lot of money before you can get your device running properly.
The application is provided free, but all donations are appreciated. Donations fund development, allow this project to expand, and compensate the developer. If you would like to donate, please click the green dollar guy on the top right. Donations will unlock additional features, such as kernel backup / restore.
If a kernel developer asks for a logcat, they can be exported using the Catlog tab. If the kernel developer is looking for a last_kmsg, clicking the tab will save a copy to the sdcard under the folder StarKissed/logcat
This application contains configuration options, kernel settings, scripts, and various other common and rare modifications that have been designed for almost every Android device and ROM. While the available features are extensive, not every device and every ROM will ALWAYS work. There are available options to submit your device, kernel, and ROM profile to help extend these items to you.

No, it's the lag in Goo's servers. I pushed a version that was missing a variable, realized it, and pushed a new one about 5 minutes later. Sadly you will see an hour delay between the two versions. That is also why there is a new option in settings for "download betas" which pulls from my server, but there will be untested changes. The fixed version is attached (also a good point to revert if it happens again, since the server will just send you new updates anyway)

Goo, Google Play, or posted version? Goo still hasn't updated. I may drop them. I also need to double check how he locked the voltages. It may be causing permission errors if it's finding the file but can't read it.

I just realized I'm not running a 4.2 build, so the kernel I would download won't have the same changes. Can either of you..
run this in terminal:
Code:
am start -a android.intent.action.MAIN -n com.loungecat.starkissed/.activity.MainActivity; logcat -d | grep `ps | grep com.loungecat.starkissed | cut -c10-15` > /sdcard/SkuErrorLog.txt
or this from the computer:

adb shell am start -a android.intent.action.MAIN -n com.loungecat.starkissed/.activity.MainActivity; adb logcat -d | grep `adb shell ps | grep com.loungecat.starkissed | cut -c10-15` > SkuErrorLog.txt

Yes. It's usually a quick fix when I have one.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
Did some work on the look of things, now I'm going to convert an old github script I have for generating changelogs into a native display so it'll be easier to follow. Once a logcat hits for the crash that will be fixed as well.
Sent from my Galaxy Nexus using Tapatalk 2
You probably won't need to post a logcat. I found an issue where grabbing todays date wasn't being fully converted to a number and causing a format error. The reason it only seemed to happen to some is that it only gets the date for the very first run. Anywho, Goo takes years to publish, so a fix is attached to this post.
Alright, i've pushed out the last update for the day. The startup issue should be resolved. Now tested and working on HTC devices. Color and voltage panels were cleaned up. Webviews optimized. The new changelog display is in place but needs some work. Vibration limits were removed if your kernel supports a larger range. And I think that does it for the last two hours...

This is CM10 Alpha for the Nexus 7. There might be bugs but everything should be working.
The is a build of CM10 that I compiled and thought I would share. It has pulls from gerrit in it. This is kind of like a Nightly build but with more experimental stuff in it.
Pulls from gerrit and other modifications:
enable multi-user support
Secret Franco sauce
CallNotifier: Ring in PHONE_INCOMING_RING only if it has already rang once.
LockscreenShortcuts : Minor code cleanup
Implemented Linaro. Full -03 with some bionic patches. Everything should work.
Changes in the 10/3 build:
tuna: add cpu boost hint
Settings: Add setting in security for sms message rate alerts
GNexusParts improvements
A few other minor things.

* Bluetooth, camera won't work.
* Video is not working properly.
In Adam's build :
* GSM network doesn't work.
* Screen time-out and lock doesn't work. That means, you cannot turn off your screen (always ON).

As of now, Ubuntu Touch Preview is not usable in mobile phones. I expect this will be fixed & become ready to use soon.

How to submit a bug.
When you submit a bug you want to make sure that nothing from your side is causing it.
Otherwise I might be hunting a bug which doesn't really exist.
The best way to achieve this is by doing the following.
Make a nandroid backup.
Perform a full wipe (factory reset + wipe /system)
Now we have two different ways depending on what kind of problem do you're having.
--When you're having a problem with a ROM function flash just the ROM without GAPPS etc. and boot back into the system. You will boot directly onto the homescreen.
--When you're having a problem with a 3rd party app in combination with our ROM then flash the ROM and GAPPS.
Boot now back into the system. You will boot to the setup wizard.
Log in to your Google account but make sure that you untick "Restore from my Google Account to this phone/tablet".
Finish the setup and open the playstore and download only the app you're having problems with.
Start a logcat recording and reproduce the bug (if possible more than once) while taking the logcat. If you don't know how to get a logcat read this tutorial or this.
Post the logcat in a txt file or on pastebin (this is important because you otherwise clog up the threads with your log) in the correct thread.
Please also write detailed how we can reproduce the bug.
Restore your backup from point 1 and wait for a fix (don't ask for ETAs).

Hey everyone. I'm running the latest version of Synergy and I've been having some issues. First, every now and then my screen will freeze and the only way for me to correct it is by locking and unlocking my phone. Second, I noticed that after a reboot my battery percentage is no longer showing. I have to go into settings and uncheck and recheck the option to display battery percentage. Lastly, after I reboot I've noticed that my default input method (which is swiftkey) will be changed to the Samsung keyboard. Again, I have to go into settings and change that as well. Does anyone know of any fixes for these issues? I've reflashed synergy several times and I still have the same problems. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

You should help out the community to get your 10 posts to post this in the synergy thread, but anyways I can help on some
For SwiftKey back it up with titanium Backup delete the app and then restore it, you won't have that problem anymore.
For the 1st one it really depends on the kernel you are running, you try various kernels in the original development section for this device.
As for the percentage I am unaware of that as I do mot run that rom.

I was stock before synergy. When you flashed this rim it gives you the option to do a superwipe. I did that plus I wipes cache/dalvik/and performed a factory reset before doing the superwipe. I'm not sure on how to get 10 points so that I can post this in the synergy thread.

You can always try since all phone play on kernels differently first try a 25 step and keep going up once you see the freezing stop, but keep in mind some kernels may not be for your phone so it's always good to experiment with other kernels to find your best battery and performance results.

ill look into it...also if you are referring to any sort of play services error...this has to do with the gapps that are flashed and it just needs to be updated from play store itself
can this rom be installed on cwm 6.0.1.2? ive noticed on a lot of the roms that they all say twrp.
Nvm I found out my issue. Was on an outdated cwm. Found the updated cwm and finally got the install in.

I have flashed this rom with CWM recovery without any issues. I'm not sure why one recovery is recommended over another sometimes, but if you like the rom and want to stick with it, you can always switch to the TWRP recovery. There is a flashable zip available on here that works just fine.
