Good Morning,
After flashing the Gingerbread Baseband I no longer am able to register on the network for my provider.
The device is from Rogers but unlocked and being used on the Bell network.
After flashing I realized there may be a different baseband for me to use in Canada (just North of Toronto).
I require some help in locating a Gingerbread baseband that would work or provide me with instructions on how to return to the original baseband.
Any help is appreciated!

Did you set the APN manually? You have to do that.

APN in Menu|Settings|Wireless & Networks|Mobile Networks|Access Point Names ?
I have set that to: pda.bell.ca
Is there other steps required though?

apn settings is for internet. phone must tower of sim. may be flashing baseband again will soveit because i am tower getting for my country
If you're wanting to go back to stock froyo first you need to visit here to get your original rom... these will also flash the baseband back too

Although it is a possibility that the BB hasn't flashed correctly, might be worth trying it again... might also be worth trying a froyo rom to see if you get a signal then, because if you do you still have the froyo baseband on...
Simplier to flash stock baseband using kdz tutorial in my signature.

Thanks adixtra i always forget about the tutorial of yours
You can flash a .Bin File for Your P920 or P920H.
Ok, now this is getting bizarre hah.
I reflashed the baseband again and everything went normal as it did before.
This time I searched for networks and selected my provider. After about 5 minutes of the device trying to register on the network an error was received that said it was unable to register on this network.
However, when I got to my home screen I was registered on the network. I tested a voice call and it worked. I have tested data as well.
BUT! This is where it gets even more bizarre...The device cycles from 4 signal bars to 2 signal bars to none to 3G (from H) followed by not being registered on the network. Then a few minutes later (sometimes only after a reboot) it returns to 4 bars and begins the cycle again.
Has anyone seen anything like this before?

Yes i have seen this with my install of the baseband file but it will not let me register the 3g or 3g+ let keeps me on full with gsm only its why i flashed mine back using the lg update tool software i put it right back to stock using similar way you flashed the baseband file. PS im on rogers as well

Would you be able to upload the KDZ file from your update?
I am having problems with the LG Phone Recovery indicating that I have the most up to date software and halting the recovery process.

Hello,
I flashed an earlier KDZ which allowed me to use the LG Update tool to restore my stock rom.
Thank you everyone for your help and advice.

it will tell you that but if you use recovery mode and it will download the file then you will have to unplug the phone from usb hold vol+ power then plug it back into the usb and it should download. like i said i used similiar method to flashing baseband
On my windows 7 not detect omap 4 and i can't flash baseband,what can i do?

I think he tries to say that he flashed custom ROM, but then he flashed stock ROM and now he can't see IMEI in phone information and 3G does not work . So am i right ?

Do you have any recovery installed? If yes, then try go to recovery and wipe everything, do factory reset (you will lose your apps, contacts and other things in phone that you have installed, default will stay. Memory card will be untouched ) (I assume you have, because you had installed custom ROM )

i have recovery and wipe data.cache....up any Rom .but 3G don't work .it only work gprs mode.help [email protected]@
Go to settings and uncheck only use 2g network

LU6200 3G Lost
Hi.
I have same problem like that.
I have a phone LG LU6200. There was stock firmware 2.3.6 and then I flashed 167.kdz Got root and deleted some stock programs.
After restarting phone showed error "LG Security Error" and then I made a downgrade.
And saw that I lost IMEI numbers. After this I restored imei using this solution. But now on my phone another imei.
Then I flashed custom recovery. When I check only WCDMA option signal is lost. I tryed to flash stock firmware 167.kdz same problem. 3G is not working.
How can I solve this problem?

I can't find my imei under the battery. Where is it? is it hexadecimal?
By the way, Flashing a baseband file (fls) won't fix imei. You still get no signal no imei nothing.
Go back to GB over the KDZ UPDATE. ONLINE!!!
after that flash the KDZ you like over the OFFLINE method.

Where is IMEI ? i have this problem too
It should be a long number (something like 12 or 15 digits) in the battery compartment, unless someone removed it to steal it or for some other reason.
Man, LG Update tool is a piece of... work..., I'll say 'work.'

Recently i bought an unlocked AT&T LG g3 but when i tried to conect with it give me juste EDGE so i just can connect with 2g .... My sim card work normaly with other phones i rooted my lg g3 and tried with buildprop but i didnt solve the problem so help me plz

Did you input your carriers correct apn ?
If so maybe it doesn't support the band of your carriers 3G/4G

I enterred correct apns . i think thé problem is i cant choose preferred network wcdma or lte i tried with the hidden menu 3845 # *850 # but i didnt find it i tried with build prop but nothing change
you need to rewrite qcn from a working phone backup. you will need qpst to restore qcn. if you need a qcn backup. let me know i will attach here.

i can send you one qcn but pls beware it will change your imei unless you restore your original imei with some box after restoring that qcn

thats good to hear you solved your problem.
i cant use 3g on my d850, 4g and 2g works flawlessly but no 3g, in my country, all the networks support 2100mhz frequency band
Hey I really appreciate any help that you can provide. I will tell the long story. My phone got corrupted while flashing different custom ROMs. Oxygen was the culprit. It completely damaged all the partition of my phone. So I repaired via 9008 modem loader using COLOR OS flash tool. then I found there is no baseband and IMEI. EFS partition damaged and I didnt have a backup. Damn it!!!!! Tons of research and googling I found how to use QPST tool by Qualcomm. I retrieved QCN file from friends ONEPLUS ONE (16gigs) and flashed it to my phone (64gigs) and edited the IMEI to my one. Rebooted the phone. tada. I got wifi bluetooth everything running. Phone signal just connects and drops every sec. It wont stay connected. but it is detected. then I thought it might modem issue. I tried every single modem out there but no luck. Finally flashed CM11s 44S Modem. Kaboom. Got the network running. but sadly it will only connect to 3g. I cant connect to 4g. No Other modem works.
1. Only get 3g service via 44s modem on any vanilla rom.
2. No other modem works.
3. Proximity sensor acts really weird. If a call comes Then I have to restart my phone to get the screen lit back. Fixed by flashing proximity fix
4. Baseband is always unknown with 44s Modem but has 3g network connectivity.
5. Other modem shows baseband but no connection even though it is detected.
Please help me guys.. What am I missing. any help appreciated.

1- Check If you have IMEI and IMEI sv and it's the IMEI that shows on box.
2- if no. 1 is true then check another sim card another operator ( to be sure that carrier is not blocking your IMEI for some reason).
3- if other operator's sim worked contact your carrier to check problem with them.

Hey thanks for the reply. I do have my IMEI from the box. I flashed QCN file using QPST tool and applied my IMEI but the thing is I only get 3g. 4G is not detected. Im not sure if something has to do with baseband files. But my friend is from my place and he gets 4g just not me. If I use any other modem other than 44s Modem the network will be detected but won't connect so i cant make or receive calls or anything related to service provide.. Do you know what to do ?

Okay let's make some tweaks :
1- backup modemst1 and modemst2 using dd (I don't trust qcn backup ) and copy them to your computer I also prefer to backup persist and fsg
2- download NEVER_SETTLE from https://forum.xda-developers.com/oneplus-one/help/fix-brickloop-audio-fx-fc-efs-corrupt-t2879061 (you will find commands to backup mdemst1 and modemst2)
3- flash only persist using fastboot and reboot to system and check everything again.
other partitions locations :
/dev/block/mmcblk0p18 (fsg)
/dev/block/mmcblk0p15 (persist)

Hi I tried still no LTE. Stuck with 3g. Can't even change network. Any other idea

Same problem, I don't get 4g network. Tried everything . On restarting Even in 3g it takes around 30 seconds to regester the sim-network.

IDK what i did my opo was dead for around 3 months, the screen was responsive but totally black. then managed to recover from it then bricked it.
just figured it out. I am on my own build of XOSP[maybe it had problem idk] but had to flash my efs[64gig] backups and got my original imei back [earlier i had restored to a different imei qcn file may be it belonged to a 16gig opo] and also got 4g signal but still no baseband.
Then flashed COS13.1.2 and got baseband back, now the proximity is also working as it should and also got LTE working and instant signal on restarting the device. Now again back on XOSP everything works. If you need i can pm the efs files.

FYI your IMEI will be lost if you do so.
So I suggest to backup your partitions first in case of everything goes wrong.
Any way I have qualcomm stock efs partitions with 0 IMEI in case if you need them

IMEI is encrypted so if you do so, you will see it in settings but network carrier will receive it 0. This means that you won't get 4g also only 3g. So I personally prefer that you flash efs of [MENTION=bablu084;70545585]bablu084[/MENTION] this gonna work except you're two in the same country.

I will send you original qualcomm efs but firstly you should backup all your data even fsg partition with dd command
