[Q] Gingerbread ROM for A602/F602

Model : A602
Kernel :2.6.32.9
Baseband : MAUI.10A.48.MP.V5.F1
Build No: ALPS.10Y.W10.48.MP.V106.2.​04
Currently : Android 2.2.1
Been trying to find ROM upgrade to Gingerbread but still no new and hoping if seniors in XDA have any clues or advises for the upgrade???

[Q] I Can't root my xperia U (tried everything)

please if someone can help me..
I have been truing to root my xperia U for 3 days now.
I have search and try everything and every tool but with no luck.
Below I'm attaching you 2 pics. First is for my attempt with the flashtool. Second is with Root_with_Restore_by_Bin4ry_v18.
As you can see for yourself my phone has Android version : 4.0.4 / kernel version : 3.0.8+ / Build number : 6.1.1.B.1.100
If someone can help me I would be very grateful.

you should go to xperia u forum http://forum.xda-developers.com/xperia-u , or try towelroot http://towelroot.com/ Do With Your Own Risk

I want to root my galaxy core i8262. I've tried all the rooting methods mentioned on XDA but none of them worked for me.
Please help me out to root this phone.

Try using Baidu root English version! Be careful not to update this to latest! Best of luck!

Its Baidu Root.apk! Because updated will be in Chinese & I ended up with the super user which was in Chinese & whole thing got confused! I got rid of it after flashing stock ROM!

Bro thanks for your suggestions but i downloaded the latest version from official site and it worked perfectly. I've rooted my phone successfuly.
Now i want to know that which custom rom is better?
And i've made a backup of system after installing recovery. Is this okay?
Someone said that you have to make a backup of "eFs" so that i dont lose imei details. Do i need to even after makin a complete system back up?

Presently my cousin has this device! He is using Lollycop ROM build 2. Its good but he complains about battery drain. Yes battery is perennial problem in Samsung phones.

Kitcat build 4 or cosmic ROM
SENT FROM .... WHY U WÀNT TO KNOW

I ve rooted my gt-i8262 and dinwe some customization withiuty flashing a new rom.
Bt my camera app stopped working.
I copied a fresh files to system/apps.
But didn't help.

One link of Rootmaster.apk doesn't get opened after downloading. Also "AndroidFileHost" file of "All in one Root Package" doesn't get downloaded.

Search on Google and download KingRoot Apk. KingRoot not making app for each specific device. You can use it for your device. When you install and tap on root. It automatically detects suitable root method to your model and trying to root it.
