[Q] Changing font - AT&T, Rogers HTC One X, Telstra One XL

Actually I'm running Jelly Bean Rom Stock 4.1 and I've been trying to change the font, but without succes.I already tried this http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1847203 but doesn't work. Someone know how to change the font?

I've been using Rom toolbox to do it for me on jb .... in the options some where is ask what fonts to replace and I choose all 50 or so of them.
And don't restart cause it will reset
Also it isn't changing all the font but most of the apps change and the app drawer
It's not that great really because of the restart issue but it will get figured out soon

Reverting to stock values for minfree

Does anyone know what the stock values should be for minfree manager? I thought wiping and installing a new rom would revert those settings, but I'm still getting quite a bit of lag that makes me think they are still the edited settings.
Thanks!
Why would editing those settings be causing your phone to lag so bad?
Uninstall app maybe a reboot if necessary that's it.

Here are my stock values on 1.77. Hope that helps!

That app sets the values on boot and only if you tell it to. Uninstall the app, reboot and you should be fine. A hard reset would definitely get it back to stock, unless you go and restore everything afterwards.
Those are the stock defaults. I've seen that 96 so many times ;-). I flashed dualcoremod 2.1 and these are my values. Running cleanrom de with 1.88 boot img. No lags, using nova and not sense though. I never really had lags before though, just the old multitasking issue but that's way better now.

Thanks everybody. I just uninstalled it. But it's still quite laggy. Strange because it wasn't before. Gonna flash latest clean ROM and restore apps one by one and see how that goes.

[Q] MIUI themes not applying

I am having a problem applying any themes for MIUI. In the theme manager I hit apply and is says successful, but I just keeps the default theme and changes the wallpaper to a green leaf. Does anyone know how to fix this? I heard that the problem can be that there is not theme folder in /data/system, but I checked and I have one, but it is empty.

have you try what linds said on her thread --

seems to be a bug with thememanager.apk this week. you can push last weeks apk, or place it in the zip before you push it to your phone, for the time being until MIUI gets this sorted out.
Download link for 2.6.22 ThemeManager.apk

I must have missed that when I was going through the thread. That version doesn't work, but it is a different problem. When I select a theme in the local tab the app just crashes.

Get ROM Toolbox. Get pro to support JRummy it is a great app, worth every penny. Interface has font installer.

It works, I'm not 100% certain on which fonts are safe to overwrite other than
Clocktopia
Androidclock
Droidsans
Droidsans bold
Roboto regular
were safe to be overwritten with sonysketch

Hi, I'm also having this problem on my newly upgraded CM10. I used to use Type Fresh to replace fonts on CM7/CM9 without problems, but now I'm encountering boot loops. (solution: reflash CM10 without wiping /data and you can break the boot loop and get CM10 stock font again)
Permission error? Why is this happening on Android 4.1.2? I DON'T LIKE ROBOTO AT ALL!

[FIX]CM10 Jelly Bean 260dpi Lock Screen Center Mod

Only For CM10
This is for our CM10 Alpha for people that like high res DPI this will fix your lock screen and center it.
This fix should work under any DPI setting.
Instructions:
Boot into TWRP
Flash
Reboot
Enjoy!
OUTDATED
Do we flash this after we change the dpi?

Does not matter before or after is fine.
Right now am trying to mod a play store or find a mod to fix the issue that wont let you install certain apps for the store because our a custom DPI setting.
The zip worked great. Thanks.
EDIT: When I flash this over the theme it changes some of the themed aspects.

This doesn't seem to be working for me on the latest nightly of CM10. It will boot up, show the updating apps pop up and then reboot. Keeps doing that, had to flash CM10 again.

Yes this is because you have to recompile the framework-res.apk flashing a different framework will result in this issue. I have to make each one custom depending on the build.

Font change?

Is there a way to change the font?
I tried a metamorph tutorial that's like 2 years old and got stuck in boot so I had to restore my tab 2 10.1... So anyone know?

Rom tool box has a font changer built in.

Ok thanks.. Every time I click a font I get a long error message and I ignored and tried installing one band rebooted and no difference anywhere.

Which ROM are you on? on stock-ish roms, in settings -> display there is a Font style and Font size available.
You're trying to change font to build in one or you want to use different font ?
I am on the April 2nd cm nightly. And I found an app that called "font changer * root *" that did it haha. But it only some what did it. Is there a way to force it completely into apps?
