RemICS is one of the better known ROMs for Galaxy S phones, it's probably your best bet

Head over to the development section of your phone and u will find many different ROMs to choose from, including touchwiz

I couldn't find any Touchwiz ROMs. I'll probably go back to stock and in root.

True. We'll wait till we see a Samsung mobile version, even know the tablet and phone supposed to be utilizing the same software configuration, we'll see a better product once the SIII or similar receives it.

ok so does anyone have any official opinions on the official ics, I would only assume that the leaks and modded roms are still significantly better
I like it, but the only thing that bothered me was the stock Swype was popping up and down as i typed. It really isn't that different from the non stock ones, it has a reboot function, expandable status bar,(not everything that i wanted) and it is smooth. No real need to try others, just root and delete and add what you want. And freeze Swype, and install the new beta.

[App]Jelly Bean Animations and mooooore!!!!!

So, Do you want to blow some wind of Jelly Bean feeling into your ICS (or maybe GB) roms...Then, just try this (I applied it on my RemICS and it works as it should work w all CM9 or AOKP based roms )
The app called: FRAMEWORK TOOL by Janis605 (Stop by and thanks him)

Just need to go to this thread: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1761732 read the OP and thanx him
Or grab it on Google Play and leave him a review
Enjoy
This actually doesn't seem to work for me. I tried both the flashable file option and "apply on the fly" option, still nothing.

Samsung Apps

Hi has anyone tried a App from Samsung Apps on Skyrocket? I tried Plants Vs Zombies but I got Invalid Device. Does GS2 Skyrocket support Samsung Apps since it is Samsung family?
I was wondering. On the supported devices list I didn't see i727 on it, the closest was the GS2 LTE. I can't figure how to register my device though. I found an APK of the Samsung Apps app but it won't let me log in.

I found an apk that Seems to work so far I havent ran into any issue with and it didn't require me to register when I installed it. Herr you go

Correct. It's all cm9. With a few framework and permissions files. I can't take any of the credit though. I thank this guy and Google:

AOSP Android phone dialer

For the life of me I never understood why speed dial and t9 were never incorporated into the stock Android phone dialer. Speed dial is a feature I have been using since back in my flip phone days. And even though stock Android is my preference, speed dial was one feature whose inclusion I always appreciated having on Motoblur and HTC Sense. Why in the world does stock Android not have speed dial and T9?

Not on stock Android. On skinned versions of it such as Motoblur, HTC Sense, and Touchwiz it's available, but not on the stock, unskinned version of it.

Strange. I was on CM7.2 and it had that. I'm guessing its just a Cyanogenmod addon, then.

I remember it on CM7 also. But stock Android (not custom ROMs such as cyanogenmod or MIUI) is missing it.

Samsung Infuse Question.

Is there any actual TouchWiz ROMs other than RemICS? I really want just a stock GS2 ROM, but idk if that's possible.
