Hi i recently got an tmobile samsung galaxy s 4g and did an unlocked...i notice when i put in mu at&t sim card it registered as 3g instead of 4 g, any idea why this might be? and is there anyway i can chaneg it back to an 4g with at&t network? Thanks
So I recently made my Samsung Galaxy s3 SCH I535 (originally a Verizon carrier) into gsm mode which now I have my AT&T SIM card in it.
Everything is working fine but the data. Rather then being on 4G LTE which is what I am paying for.
Is working on edge speeds. Can someone help me fix this?

Well, the Verizon version only works with Verizon's LTE. If you want at&t LTE to work, you need an at&t phone.

On the hardware side, Verizon phones only support Verizon LTE. So like the above post said, you'd need an AT&T phone to get AT&T LTE

I'm looking to purchase a note 10.1 and have found some good deals on unlocked tmobile (gsm) models on amazon. I was originally planning on getting a wifi only edition, but I do have verizon mobile service. So I wanted to know if I did decide to want to add the tablet to my network, could I. Well it turns out the Internet offers conflicting information here. Some say that an unlocked note 10.1 will work on all carriers (verizon and GSM). Some say that's not true. I was just hoping an expert on this site could confirm which is correct. Thanks and sorry if it's a simple question, but I couldn't find any like this in the forumshort search.
Since the n8000 only supports 3g, it is not likely that it will work on CDMA networks like verizon. Verizon actually has their own model, the n8020, so that would be what you are looking for
