Skin, cases and touchscreen

It seems like everytime I put a case or skin on my phone the touch screen becomes really really glitchy and jumping. Super annoying, I have read the touch screen issue with grounding but just wanted to ask those of you who have skins on your phones experience this without any hacks to the grounding pin?
This happens on every ROM I put on...
Sense 3.0 and 3.5, Miui, and CM7.
Edit: When using the phone without a skin or case, works wonderfully.

I'm using the case-mate barely there case and dont have any issues. That seems kinda weird. What case are you using?

I'm using a vertex case right now.
Can you tell me if your phone says Made in China or Taiwan and the screen panel please?
My wife's Sensation suffers from the same thing.

Sorry it took me so long to get back to you I'm at work. My phone was made in Taiwan and I'm not sure what the screen panel number is where can I find that?

It's ok bud.
To check the panel you can:
Download terminal emulator and note everything from market, then open terminal emulator and type: dmesg
Press and hold down anywhere on the screen and copy all
Then open note everything and copy the everything here
Tap menu button within note everything and look for Panel
You should see something like Panel_Auo or Panel_Sharp

I have asian version. Made from taiwanese.
Why you dont try the solution by pull up a little bit of the grounding pin as can be seen in the u tube?
I suspected, maybe due to you always open the back cover to much could cause the grounding pin pull inside..just my 2 sen..

I've got a vertex and really like it. Its the only case I found that has cut outs for all t the holes in the rear cover, and it looks and feels really nice. I had a tpu case before it which was decent but the naztech vertex is better.

Work petfectly. I got both housing one with the beat logo. So nice to have the one with beat logo. You can check on ebay.

My girlfriend bought that same one for me for Christmas.
But she won't let me have it until then.

Use it if you are going to keep the phone in a case because this cover gets dirty very fast.

Got mine with white beats logo too. Works good!

I also got my replacement from ebay but I noticed that there are a couple of gold contact points missing. Same as yours in the second pic.

that extra two connection pointd was something they left out cause it wasn't needed and to save cost goggle it . Everything works fine everything.

Would you take back a phone for this reason

I just got my replacement sensation 4g and it is like 2 little dots of light that like idk seep through the screen. Its really not on the screen thqt you touch its on the bottom left corner next to the home button. It is kind of annoying when I take my case off and see them but maybe I will get used to it idk. Would you take yours back for this? I also am having my htc sense keep crashing and my phone randomly reboot itself. On T-Mobile chat they say it is an app causing this and not the phone because they fixed that problem with the last update and want me to delete some apps off my phone to see which app is causing it. Anybody else having those issues?

Its not on the touch part of the screen. Its on the outer black rim to the edge next to the home button.

I tried and I couldn't see it. I think you can only see it in the dark when its light I couldn't even see it (this is the first day I used my phone without a case with the case on I couldn't see it). But its still kind of annoying. Maybe I'm just being anal.

[Q] curved screen

I just got the htc sensation. i have noticed my screen is curved. From the middle of the screen it starts to curve in towards the top bottom and sides. I thought i was suppose to be only at the edges. Is this normal?

Mine is flat everywhere except about 5mm all around the edges.

Hi. Yes you sure can buy a new back cover that includes volume buttons. Actually you can get them quite inexpensive online. Search Amazon or EBay and you will find them. I got one for my device. I believe it was around 7 dollars. Hope this is helpful! Best wishes.

I buy everything from ebay for my Htc. Never had problems. The back covers are cheap. It may be not OEM but always fits. OEM parts are expensive.

They're pretty cheap on Ebay. Mine cost me like $20

I think the only difference between the back covers is if it's the black one or the white one.
The antenea connections are in different spots on the white one.
But hardware wise the Sensation, Sensation 4G, and Sensation XE are all the same thing.

That's nonsense that antenna connectors are different on white case. It can't be possible at all.

As a matter of fact the phones are the same. The XE is nothing more then a boost in hardware and software with a touch of Beats. If you read the test the normal Sensation is under clocked ( if I say it right)
I have Elegncia ROM wich is powered with Beats so I ordered the white XE backcover with Beats logo for my Sensation.

Sure they are the same. Idk who wrote that connectors are in different place, why would somebody produce white cases with different connectors that don't fit..

Because they did.
Choose to not believe it all you want. But dont come crying when it doesnt work properly.
The white cover has less connector pins or something. So the signal is affected greatly on some networks.

Sensation and sensation XE both have same connectors, only 4G has one more connector
