I just got my replacement sensation 4g and it is like 2 little dots of light that like idk seep through the screen. Its really not on the screen thqt you touch its on the bottom left corner next to the home button. It is kind of annoying when I take my case off and see them but maybe I will get used to it idk. Would you take yours back for this? I also am having my htc sense keep crashing and my phone randomly reboot itself. On T-Mobile chat they say it is an app causing this and not the phone because they fixed that problem with the last update and want me to delete some apps off my phone to see which app is causing it. Anybody else having those issues?

I tried and I couldn't see it. I think you can only see it in the dark when its light I couldn't even see it (this is the first day I used my phone without a case with the case on I couldn't see it). But its still kind of annoying. Maybe I'm just being anal.

So I have been using this phone the last day or. Two and just noticed this. There what appear to be a couple black dots under the glass of the screen not sure if they are dead pixels or if it's dust or what the hell it is. Anyone have a clue and if there's anything I can do about it? I also did buy this phone used I dunno if that limits my Options.

if a pixel is dead would it be black? what if one pixel is blue? That's what wrong with my phone, there is a tiny blue dot on my screen it annoys the **** out of me when the screen is black,

I had exactly the same, tried to make phone S-on to return and bricked it so def had to go back. swapped it for another one and its fine. Dead pixel can be any colour, mine was blue too, and yes it is annoying. if its under warenty id try and make it sound worse for them to swap it if its quite new. good luck!
oh btw there is no way to fix a dead pixel.

It seems like everytime I put a case or skin on my phone the touch screen becomes really really glitchy and jumping. Super annoying, I have read the touch screen issue with grounding but just wanted to ask those of you who have skins on your phones experience this without any hacks to the grounding pin?
This happens on every ROM I put on...
Sense 3.0 and 3.5, Miui, and CM7.
Edit: When using the phone without a skin or case, works wonderfully.

It's ok bud.
To check the panel you can:
Download terminal emulator and note everything from market, then open terminal emulator and type: dmesg
Press and hold down anywhere on the screen and copy all
Then open note everything and copy the everything here
Tap menu button within note everything and look for Panel
You should see something like Panel_Auo or Panel_Sharp

I have asian version. Made from taiwanese.
Why you dont try the solution by pull up a little bit of the grounding pin as can be seen in the u tube?
I suspected, maybe due to you always open the back cover to much could cause the grounding pin pull inside..just my 2 sen..

I've got a vertex and really like it. Its the only case I found that has cut outs for all t the holes in the rear cover, and it looks and feels really nice. I had a tpu case before it which was decent but the naztech vertex is better.

I have noticed at the top of my screen in the notification bar clock there's a 1 to 2 mm line of black no matter what's on the screen colour wise. I have turned the screen off and put it under a bright light and found no dust evidence. So it must be dead pixels, Is there nothing I can do about this? Will it get worse over time?

Never noticed such an issue. But it could be a stuck pixels instead of a dead pixels.
Search for "Dead Pixel Detect and Fix"-App it could fix your problem.
(sry can't give you a external link, cuz it's my first post )

Are you using stock or a custom ROM ?
If so maybe give it a shot on an other ROM ?
Try looking at those pixels with full screen images of single colours at full brightness. If you don't find anything wrong around the pixels then there isn't anything wrong.

Tried that with 4 different colours and it stayed the same, every thing else on the screen is fine apart from a 1 to 2 mm black line just above the time above the time in the top right hand side of the screen.

Had the exact same problem. Sent it HTC and they confirm its a hardware problem covered under warranty. Still waiting to get it back though! :S

It was in the same place? Not sure It's worth sending back so long for such a small fault which you can hardly notice. Unless it will get progress and get worst?

I think dead pixels tend to get worse over time. That was the reason why I sent it back in the first place. I don't think this kind of delay is norm. I was told that they were missing a part and they had to wait for it to come from abroad, hence the delay.
What to do with a phone I got of eBay and have branded from Orange to stock sin free. Do you think they will honors the hardware warranties.

They should honor the warranty, I had a phone bought from Mobicity in Australia and then I moved to Croatia. After a couple of months I had a dust issue and I sent a e-mail to the authorised servise in Croatia and they checked the IMEI if it is covered. I also dod S-ON and flashed an Asian RUU just to be safe.
I have a green dead pixel near the top left had it since day one :/

When i watch videos in landscape mode every damn time it puts the brightness to 0% when i touch the screen it takes it back to 100% but after a while back to 0 again reallly annoying any workarounds known?

hi all, my sensation xe keeps on screwing me up with touch problemz...
having listened to some music, when it gets a little warmer in its bottom, touch quality gets terrible, in a way that i have to tap the screen several timez til it'll let me unlock the screen. of course this issue persists when the phone is lied on its back. n i'm sure that it ain't relevant to softwarez or rom. only hardware i think.
what do u suggest for me to do? n what's ur opinion about putting a little alumminium foil on the metal part on its back connecting it to the back cover? plz hel me
