Hi everyone!
I have a vodafone smart 2, which has the same hw as galaxy y. Galaxy Y can be overclocked to at least 900 Mhz.
My phone's stock kernel doesn't support cpu oc, and it's bootloader locked.
I installed init.d support, so can I overclock cpu with init.d script?
Thanks for answers!

how do overclock p6200 (ics)????
tegrak need to buy license?is there any way?
Write a kernel what can be overclocked, post it here, and you are good to go..
Anyhow, there is no need to overclock. Our Armv7 CPU and the Mali GPU is a killer in combination. Almost stronger than the tab 2. And you won't get tegra performance on a non tegra device anyways.

Try Paranoid Android 3.56 JB Custom ROM, its latest kernel overclocked our cpu to 1.5ghz and is pretty stable, the previous kernel was at 1.6 but that crashes the device and produces and beep sound like of a car being stoled xD
My galaxy x duos is rooted. So i want to know how to increase its performance by increasing its ram and hz. It has 832 mhz processor and 290 mb ram.
If u have unlocked boot loader too u can flash a another kernel or if your current kernel allows it use antutu CPU master or trickster mod app

i try to use antutu cpu master pro but according to it 832 mhz is maximum and 312 is minimum. So know what to do

that probably means that your kernel does not allow overclocking.
try finding another kernel for your phone

You need to flash a OC enabled kernel to overclock beyond 832 MHz

as you are rooted,I would suggest you to flash a Custom ROM and then check if the kernel has OC(OverClock) capabilities
If your phone has Cyanogenmod ROM support then you can flash the CM ROMs like CM7 and overclock your phone as CM7 kernels mostly have overclockable capabilities
if the kernel supports OC then you can use any apps like SetCPU,Nofrills CPU or other app to overclock your phone
But make sure that you don't overclock the CPU to a very high value because that may overheat the phone and can cause hardware problems and other problems
There is currently no kernel available to overclock the Samsung Galaxy Y Duos.
Does techno duos OR gingericejelly support OC.
faster experience but shorter battery life. and overlock may lead damage to your device
supports overclock to 800 Mhz.... supports OC of gpu ...enables sweep2wake feature....supports sense4.0 ROMS and all other good stuffs....i would be obliged if someone could do this...

Try pandora kernel

does it support sweep2 wake..???
I tried using these apps:
One Power Guard Pro
DU Battery Saver
Juice Defender Ultimate
I change the settings to underclock my core, and it does not work or no effect.
I found out that the galaxy core does not support rom/kernel ~ overclocking/underclocking.
Is this true?
I can't manage my phone, my battery drains fast, I'm using greenify.
Is there a way to underclock/overclock my phone? Do I need to install a custom rom coz I still want to use my stock rom.
BTW my phone is rooted.
Any help would be appreciated. :fingers-crossed:
Stock kernel does not support overclocking, sorry. We need to wait until someone makes a custom kernel with overclocking support.

No it's not.
I have a Galaxy S duos. Gt-s7562. Rooted. The device is a complete failure. I was just wondering if tweaking CPU governers and schedulers will help me with getting some better performance? I already tweaked minfree values and other things. Just confused about CPU settings. CPU is already clocked to full capacity. Just need details to what governers and scheduler combonation will help this excruciatingly slow thing

Stock ROM. Just basic ones like ondemand, interactive, powersave available. Can I add custom governors ?

You need a custom kernal with additional governers. This rom supports some custom kernals. The list is given in the thread
