Hi All,
I have a ZTE V970 with Bruno 3.1 ROM. My Gallery apk is allowed to reach my Picasa albums, it listed nut without thumbnail pictures (it shows only gray squares instead of thumbs...). I can touch these squares, it starts open the image, but finally I got onlí a blank screen without picture.
I tried to upload a photo from Gallery to Picasa, both into old or newly created album. There is no change.
Any help?

Made spm inspection and found that gallery has huge cache in the sd with all of the picasa thumbs.
Sp sync works., but gallery doesnt show them.

Meanwhile i got another version of gallery apk. Replaced and works fine.

I got a paly store update to g plus and it killed the sync again.
Then i removed whole g plus and gallery sync works like a charm.
But i havent got g plus...

The default gallery app is not displaying some of the photos taken with the camera. I can see the photos in the DCIM/Camera folder when I use a file manager app, but they don't show up in the gallery.
Problem appears randomly, but always dissappears on power off / on.
Anyone noticed this before? I do not know how yo recreate it.

I've noticed this on/off with most android devices. Usually, to me it seems to be associated with having a large number of images in the gallery and it loading the images.
Yep, this is an issue had by others. Please star this report at Google: http://code.google.com/p/android/issues/detail?id=13419
delete content of /sdcard/dcim/.thumbnails and re-open gallery

I've just experienced this myself. In addition, the pics stayed blurry when viewing pics individually as I scrolled through my gallery. Everything returned to normal after reboot. I've starred the issue also. Thanks.

I take a photo, preview it without problem but when I load the Gallery app it doesn't appear. However, deleting an image seems to force the Gallery app to re-index the folder and the photos appear.
I'm hoping video proof of the bug may spur on a fix.
Happened to me earlier I just opened the camera app and then opened gallery from within camera... pics showed up in gallery afterwards

My gallery was also too much slow, many times even restarting the pictures.
Reinstalled Bravia, poke build.prop, etc, nope. Also installed QuickPic, but it has no Bravia support, so the colors was kind of fainted.
So...
Finally tried Cool 3D Gallery at Google Play and...
Tada!
A free, no-ads, cool, newer and very faster version of the default gallery, with Bravia support etc.
Hope you enjoy it and have a nice day!
But Cool Gallery doesn't sync with Facebook gallery...

I have tried the .nomedia approach (putting a .nomedia file in all the folders I want to exclude).
It works hiding all the existing pictures, but once you have new picture downloaded from browser or sent through whatsapp, it will still show up...
Kinda annoying.
Using quickpic atm but dont really like it...

Download quick pic from the play store, from there you can hide albums or single pictures by holding down on them.

Hello, I have recently installed unstoppable rom with experimental kernel, but after two three days my album is not working properly it opens n take too to show all the pictures, and now asyi open my album it opens doesn't shows any pictures.. Plz help Thank you.

Since I rooted my A9 the Gallery app doesn't update new photos and new folders where the photos are.
I tried to empty cache several time, even re-install the app but it won't fix it!!
It looks like another app is linked to gallery and this app is somehow frozen.
Am I the only one to have this gallery app problem after root?
I am using a third party gallery app but I want the RAW edit of the stock one
I deleted the htc gallery app then restored untouched system in twrp so it restore the original app...still not fixed! Now I have to open manually each photo in file manager so they appear in the gallery.
Any solution?
I can't raw edit old dng because the gallery wont see the dng, I am getting crazy
