LOL i had some experience with that. However it started acting up after a few days of use. Terrible for the battery as the app kept running in the background

If the question is still actual I can recommend trying Voice Changer by Androbaby

If the question is still actual I can recommend trying Voice Changer by Androbaby. It is a fun software for giving unusual effects to the voice, which will help to cheer the friend

Check out this Cool Voice Changer app List
Yeah, there are many good voice changer apps available in the market for this purpose for both Android and iOS phones. So here I am giving you the list of some quality voice changing apps.
1- Best Voice Changer (Android).

Also, check out some more cool voice changer app at howtotechies.

Change Voice During Call
In short, currently android have no methods that support low latency audio (used during calls) in real time. So developers cannot access this speech signals even if they want to. So unfortunately no App or even custom ROM can do that for you for now.

What if an external microphone is plugged in via USB otg? Could the low latency be solved?

Is Viber even possible on FK ?

Thanks ....
IDK but I use mysms. Works great, I think even better than Viber.
I am also interested in viber because lots of my friends are using viber. Is there anybody out there who managed to make is work on its KF?
Nobody????
[/COLOR]won't work because KF has no external Mic. I'll get a link to the old version of textplus rich let's you text anyone in USA poor Canada. (it has updated to calling so that's why it's the older version

Google Voice Dial apk.. Works on rooted phones!

One of the major disappointments I had when I first got this phone was discovering that the OS doesn't come with a voice dialer. So I started trying the various voice dial apps on the market, and none worked well. After much searching, I found a ICS compatible version of the standard voice dial application. So I'm going to attach it here for those of you that want to have this functionality.
I installed it via the standard app installer, then I went into titanium backup and converted it into a system app. I'm sure there's a more direct method, but this worked for me.
Hope this works for everyone, but so far it's worked perfectly for me!

you are a lifesaver. i was looking all over for this, as I'm running a custom rom and it didn't include this as well. and you know how the google one requires a data connection and I don't have a data plan.
so thanks a bunch!! and it works great.
btw, what does making it a system app do?
The voice dialer didn't work for me initially, but did start working after I converted it into a system app. That's @ll the explanation I can give you.

yeah you're right, it doesn't work when I actually want to dial (gives message "unfortunately, voice dialer has stopped" - it brings up a list of names ok though. can you explain how you converted it to a system app? I tried but couldn't figure it out. thanks!

thank you sir, just what i have been searching for in vain...until now:good:
!
I never found the voice dialer to work well if you have a lisp or an accent. luckily google voice will dial/text/email/gps/map and search for you and it adapts to your voice overtime( as long as that has been checked in the setting).
Thanks...hope it wks 4 me:good:

[Q] Call reminders/actions

hello XDA community!
I'm coming from an old windows phone where I had a neat app able to do the following actions after I've rejected or ended a call:
- send sms
- add calendar event
- follow up call - ex: in 15mins
- add reminder
Do you know any paid or free android app able to do these actions?
thanks for your time
You can use Astrid for these actions.

[Completed] Restricting internet access to specific apps when opened.

Greetings, XDA Assist!
I want to know if there is a way to restrict internet access to an Android app *ONLY* when it is opened.
For e.g, if I want to hide my last seen on WhatsApp, I switch off my WiFi/Data, and open WhatsApp -> Reply to the messages -> Close Whatsapp -> Turn Data on.
Is there a way to restrict internet access to only certain apps when they're opened, and regain access when they're closed?
It would be of great help if you direct me toward a solution, maybe a Tasker profile?
P.S - Classic XDA Lurker. Lurking for two years. Joined recently. You guys are brilliant. Keep up the good work!
Thanks in advance!
Hi there!
Depending on root or not, there's different option available
In your situation, I'd personally use Greenify
Or some custom ROMs have App Ops built in. You can select permissions on a per app basis. I don't think its quite what you're after in this case.
See if Greenify suits your needs. Read about it in the opening post in the thread I linked. ?
Good luck!!
---------- Post added at 12:13 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:09 PM ----------
And no, I don't think your example is going to hide last seen. As soon as you read or post anything, I'm sure it'll make you last seen. No matter how you try to hide it. As soon as you do download or upload. .. It knows you were on. Nothing will change that.
---------- Post added at 12:15 PM ---------- Previous post was at 12:13 PM ----------
Yes, I misunderstood your goal. You want the opposite of what I was thinking.
If the app is open and no data or WiFi...the app will not function while you use it.
If you don't want people seeing your presence on social apps....you'd have to not use them. Lol
Take care.

Thanks for the reply!
I'm aware of Greenify and my ROM does have App Ops.
I wanted to know how to automate it ONLY when you open the app.
Open Whatsapp -> App stops accessing internet (OR) WiFi/Data gets switched off. [Preferably former]
Close app -> Regains internet access.
Something similar.
I'm sorry, I searched Google and XDA....found nothing like what your after. Lots on keeping it off data when closed....but not open. Again....you can toggle airplane mode on, then open it and test your theory...but I doubt it will have your desired results.
Here's a tasker guide, you can check it out, or ask in the thread perhaps.

Good luck again!

The latest WhatsApp feature is generating a lot of duplicate threads on XDA, drowning other threads in the process. Many are also posted in the wrong section. We're closing down all invite threads to keep the clutter down to a minimum. Instead, please use The Consolidated WhatsApp Calling Thread as a consolidated thread for all discussions related to the WhatsApp calling feature and invites. Thank you!
