Hi xda comunity,
i have problems with installing the recovery on the ported 4.0.4.
i searched everywhere and now im tried about 3 methods and everytime i haved to reflash the rom.
Now im on the portet rom 4.0.4 not from xbsall because i dont know how to get the recovery on it.
i have everything done my phone is rooted, can someone explain me maybe how to flash the recovery now?
i tried the cwm recovery and it doesnt help, how to flash twrp´s revovery?

i tried to search twpr recovery but found nothing for p920
now im managed it by my self via fastboot, if someone have the same problem Like me so watch in this thred xbsalls uploaded for me an old apk i cant test it but maybe it helps someone

Well done ,that app is old Milaqs Recovery, btw everytime you say ported ICS not from xbsall you confuse people because the only ported version so far is from xbsall all the rest are custom ROMS.

Hi.
I am trying to learn how to install ROMS on this phone, because a friend of mine has an LG Optimus 3D and he would like to "make his phone better", and so I emidiatly tought "flash a ROM". But he doesnt know how to do it, but I have some experience because I have a Xperia X10 and I have flashed a lot of ROMs. So I know the basic, like wat is a Kernel, xRecovery, etc. But I have a felling that in this phone things are a liitle bit different, so could you tell me how to fully install this ROM (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1264023)? I would be very thankfull. Or if you know a better ROM tell me.:good:

First you need to now which baseband do you have?It's best to have 21e.All great Roms are based on 21e so there are no problems with ghost call's .Then root it, instal cwm and flash ThaiZ rom.If you dont have 21e baseband you need to flash it.If u don't now how i can post some topic about how to do that.

Can you describe more specific wich ROM you are on and what excactly is the problem?

If I decrypted "dangryd" correctly he needs to downgrade from ics to gb and has problems doing so...

Im not sure what to say.. one screenshot shows bootv21e success and the other fail :/
So after you flash bootv21e, can you power on your phone and what happens? Does it boot into CWM?

I updated my phone to official ICS but there is no any boot recovery. I tried to install Wkparks u-boot but it restarts again and again. Also i tried to instal CWM but it also have same issue. Any body can help me?? I will be very thankful
I read many forums but most of the people just focused on P920 but i have orignal SU-760, so p920 stuff dnt work on my phone.

search using these keyword TWRP or recovery for su760, you will find some threads about that... :good:
hi guys new to this forum and need your help ive gone and messed my phone up ive upgraderd to the jellyban 4.0 but lost all of my 3d setting and not very happy camra etc etc been looking on google to see if there a stock firmware i can use plz help
Welcome to our forum I hope you will find what you need .
Any CM Rom does not have 3D ,, And you should do a backup before install it , if you did then just restore it from recovery .
If you did not do any backup ,, then install another custom ROM (based custom ROM) and don't forget to do a factory reset and wipe dalvik cache .
Or you can flash *.KDZ but I think it's hard for you , installing a custom ROM faster/easier than *.KDZ .

hi mate is there a stock firmware for this phone on the internet and no mate i didnot back it up

The kdz file is the stock gb, you have to flash it with flashtool therevis a guide for it in forum

It isnt very hard, when you spend a lot of time with it. If you want a easier way to go back to gb, you can flash for example thaiz rom, its the same thing you flashed jellybam. This rom is very stable too with all 3d apps. Pay attention because of the baseband when you flash

hello.
i have a strange problem with my optimus 3d.
i cant install another bootloader, i have rooted the phone and recoverd it from some " brick"
i struggled to get another rom on it and the only rom i got to run was the CM7,
but after i downloaded a flash app in the market i could flash the bios with bluecernel
so i can install and run the new roms. but now to the problem,
When i install the newer roms 4.0.+ i cant get the network signal, i know it is a common problem but the problem is that my phone cant be in the "bootlader mode" i have tried to reboot phone to the bootlader and i only come to the cwmd recoery menu,
i have also tried the al in one tool that is here on the forum, then i come in to fastboot but nothing happens when i should install the new bootloader.
i have struggled wit this issue for 4 week now
so is there any one that haw anny clue.?
man its baseband problem u should flash the compatiable baseband first then install the rom u cant jump from froyo to ics
and if u on the compatiable baseband jus recover ur imei
