Ok so i had CM10 Nightly installed.
I tried to install a custom kernal, but i would not leave the asus screen.
When i try to load fast boot, it states "starting fastboot usb download protocol" but nothing happens
ADB wont see it.
I can still access clockwork but i cant mount a sd card.
Did i brick, or can i still save it?
Iv had same problem with fastboot as u had. Be sure that you have the correct drivers, plug in ur tablet on the computer while in while the tablet is in the bootloader. Then choose the USB icon on the tablet. Your computer should automaticly download the right drivers, but in my case it took quiet a while before windows update found them etc. That fixed my fastboot problem.
More on topic, ur tablet is not bricked as you can get into CWM without problems. As im not a pro im not sure how to exactly fix this issue, but if u have ur ROM on ur device, you could reflash it and you will be back in business
I have this problem on my tablet when I install Clemsyn's kernel. When I switch to Unter's I have no issues. Try using TWRP instead of CWM also. That might help some of the problems.

TF101 Stuck at EeePad forever.
tried:
1. booting in to recovery, and reflash ROM, but the new recovery I used does not support external SD card.
2. tried wiping data etc...
3. tried the APX mode with Brks_root tool. I dont think it is communicating at all.... guess the USB debug mode is not on. ( cant turn it on since i can not boot into android..)
doesnt seems to do anything...
I guess booting into recovery to flash ROM is not possible since no external card support, and I do not have any ROM in the internal SD card...
anyone has another way to help me out?
I want to try the Nvflash unbrick tools but cant find any download-able link
Nvflash found and download.bat run. TF101 back on.

DONT PANIC..I simplified the instructions, this WILL fix it:
Nvflash unbrick tools... Go here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1558170
go to his link that says hes hosting them on my own server. Should say XDAfileserver.
Asus Transformer TF101> ROMS>NVFLASH STOCK>ICS17> NVFLASH_ICS_9.2.1.17_US_NOROOT.7z(the active one should be Mar 21 2012 for the US one).
Unzip on your desktop than:
1. Connect cable to computer and turn device on while holding down Volume Up. Screen will stay off, but USB will come on. The Screen will never turn on.. thats normal.
2. Find “APX” device in Device manager and update driver by going to your device manager in Windows 7... its control panel>Hardware and sound >than Device manager. It stands out looking like a yellow (!) you can t miss it. then point it at usbpcdriver directory from the zip. If it says APX or Asus APX on your USB connection with your transformer, than skip this step and just follow the bottom command.
Last
3. double click Run download.bat.(its in the folder you unzipped). It says download with a gear icon..and thats it. the program does the rest. Save that on your PC for the future. its helped me out twice. You'll see the Transformer going threw commands like your using adb.
For the future, put both ROMS and Gapps (if needed) in the internal and external just in-case. Some only read internal and others read both. Depends on the ROM.
The internal is seen as a "virtual" one, so full wipe factory reset, dalvik and cache can be erased so you can flash it internally. After being rooted and flashing CWM instead of holding volume down+power or using a menu option.. just download this app from the market. Called: Transformer reboot to Recovery.
The app in your drawer icon is two blue arrows instead of orange and blue like the developers picture.
https://play.google.com/store/apps/...recovery&rdid=com.transformer.recovery&rdot=1
that will always get you into recovery without holding power and down or using an option on the Tablet.. CWM from the app itself doesn't seam to enter recovery just restarts.. they fixed the contiguous boot-loop at least. I would use the app i gave you just to avoid all the issues getting into recovery for any changes.
Keep in mind that NVFlash i gave you will revert you to stock unrooted.. but at least its not dead or bricked.
I have a sl101. I only get eeepad screen. My son did something to the machine. I can get it to say booting recovery but nothing happens. I also can get a text that says cold booting Linux. Again nothing happens. Nvflash says USB write fail. But when I check adb the device is recognized. Is there a way for me to adb push a recovery in there for me to boot too, so I can reflash a rom. I have a little dilema here. I also was wondering if I can flash rom thru adb. I read once that's how they used to do it on g1. I don't know if I am speaking accurately though. Any kind of light shed on me will be greatly appriciated

not sure about the slider but i had a customer return yesterday with this exact issue on the tf101 and i couldnt get out of it. the tf just kept switching itself back on and getting stuck on the splash screen.
found this set of instructions but im not sure if its what you need or if it will work:
http://androidroot.mobi/technical/asus-eee-pad-transformer-tf101-root-cwm-recovery/
good luck
That is exactly what is going on with mine. The slider is basicly the same thing. I plug it in and I tries to boot. I thought you had to be booted into recovery or the rom for adb to work? That's why I believe this method you just revealed to me. Or some variation of it will work. I will be trying shortly.

nvflash if your TF101 is compatible model.. (must B60 and below).
Or read Wolf's thread HERE. It might helped everyone here..
Thanks but everything needs adb connexion and as apx is not working, i can't connect ADB..
I have a B50 model
Nobody have a clue ?
well, I have to send it back to my reseller that will change it but before that I need to delete clockwork mode or brick it, how can i do ?
I tried every thread here, update rom does nothing, looks like it does not write anything on the tablet
Thanks in advance
try to follow this procedure...
http://forum.xda-developers.com/showpost.php?p=25636698&postcount=5
let me know
Hello, thanks, but as I can't get to apx mode, I can't use nvflash, so still stuck with my recovery, I tried to modify super Wipe package to do things but can't get through...
If someone can make a package to delete recovery, then I can try it on my tablet, I really yneed it to be bricked cause now it load with Rogue's recovery on and on, so the reseller will new it has been modified and I will have to pay to get it back ...
Thanks in advance
with the procedure posted in the previous link you don't need APX mode and don't need NVflash...
Just boot your TF in recovery mode and plug it to your pc...
remove all previous drivers and install the new one that you can find in the post
ciao
ps... at the end of the procedure you will have your TF101 with stock rom and stock recovery
I will try but even when I am on recovery, nothing appears in Hardware management, no recognition from My computer, still strange... And when I power + vol down key, It never says to presse vol up in the text in the upper left corner, just says booting linux kernel...
When I try to boot pressing vol up + power, nothing happens, not even the clics that can be heard when it powers up...
I had a similar issue when I used SuperWipe and discovered my ROM on the external SD Card could not be accessed by CWM
I tried pushing the file with adb but kept receiving errors - protocol, etc. I suspected it was a driver issue along with the fact that 64 bit systems don't always play nicely with drivers. I actually dug up an old hard drive and did a very basic install of 32bit Win7. I booted the Transformer into CWM and when I connected it to my PC - I pointed it to the universal naked driver. I was then able to successfully push the rom to internal storage and used CWM to flash it
Hello,
I tried to connect my tablet to an old Windows 2000, but still nothing happens
Hello every one, I finally sendt back my transformer to my reseller, now I can buy a new one...
Thanks again
Okay Guys and Gals!
Now comes a mess.
Prestory: I was kinda disappointed by the performance of the stock 4.0 ICS and wanted to try out 4.2 or at least 4.1.
So I went flashing 4.2 and it didn't worked flawlessly. My Power button is somehow broken. I don't know if it's a hardware problem or software. Anyhow, I tried 4.1 and it didn't work aswell. My final conclusion was to send it back to ASUS to repair it. Of course not with a modded OS, so my goal was to flash the stock 4.0 again. Here, the trouble began.
I followed this manual [UNROOT]The easiest unrooting method (http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1527931&highlight=status+7) and had a Status 7 error. One post assumed that it might be the TWRP (or so) Recovery and to try out a stock CWM.
So I downloaded the latest CWM which causes another trouble, because I downloaded the nonTouch version without possesing a dock. Well. After I got a dock I just thought: Thats it. Nope. When I try to flash a .zip from the SD Card it says, that it can't mount the SD card. So, that seems to be a dead end. I managed to install an older CWM (.13 i think) via ROM Manager but this one can't mount the SD either. The SD is accesible when the tablet is connected to the PC and through ASTRO File Manager.
I also tried Windows Tools like Easy Flasher (which fails because I can't enter APX mode for some reason), 1-Click Transformer Root (which seems to abort because of 4.1.2?) and OneClickrecovery (which also fails)
Some Infos: B40
Currently running on Cyanogen Mod 10-20130131_UNOFFICIAL-tf101 4.1.2
Well, I'm sure I forgot to mention a thousand things, so please ask.
And pleaaaase help me. The Tablet is right now pretty much useless to me and I'm really starting to miss using it.
So if you have any ideas?!
Regards from Germany, Michele
I would first try to reseat the power button by opening the device. That seems to fix the button issues for some. Then give easyflasher another try.
Or, keep trying to go into APX. It's tricky since the device doesn't appear powered on unless you have leaks on your screen, but just keep trying. Eventually you will hear the USB sound of your computer detecting it. Make sure you have the APX drivers installed too.
OK, if you have a recovery that will boot, you can try using PERI to flash Rogue Touch recovery.
The EASIEST way to flash back to stock IMO is this: http://www.transformerforums.com/fo...frederuco-s-guide-flash-tf101-back-stock.html
You can use CWM recovery to flash the stock firmware as well.
Keep in mind, if your tablet is OFF, you can hold VOL UP and then plug in the USB cord to your PC to enter APX mode (plugging it in will trigger the power on).
Same thing to enter recovery manually, hold VOL DOWN, plug in, then hit VOL UP when prompted to enter recovery.
Do not see a section for the A200..... Someone in A100 said I'd have better luck here.....
OK, so I soft bricked my A200 and need to USB connect to it, so I can use fastboot or some other recovery tool.
Problem is that when I plug the A200 into my computer, it grinds away for a bit then gives a driver failed to install red "X" message.
I've reloaded the Acer USB drivers a couple of time, but no joy there. I've tried two different computers, I've tried XP and W7, nothing seems to help. Looking in the device manager shows an error 10 (device can't start).
Since the PC at least recognizes the A200 when plugging in, I think if I can get the USB talking I can easily unbrick the A200.
When I power it on, it boots to the IconiaTab screen, but no further. It's been rooted and bootloader unlocked using HBWelch's Simple Tool. I can get into fastboot mode by using a convoluted (to me, at least) procedure, that takes 6 fingers to accomplish.
After rooting and UL'ing BL it worked fine for over 6 months. Tried to flash back to stock over the weekend, and that's when I bricked it.
I posted this same message over on Acertabletforums, but so far no response's. Moderator, if you don't mind, please merge my other thread over in the A100 section with this thread.
Help??
Boowho??
Do you know if CWM is available for your A200 ?
If your bootloader is unlocked, i think you can flash a boot or recovery via Fastboot
success anyThan

Fastboot appears to need a working USB connection (thru drivers). When I run it on the PC, it hangs with the message "waiting for USB connection". This is with the tablet booted in "fastboot" mode.
I CAN get it to read from update.zip on the SD card. The update.zip I'm using is the completely stock firmware (ROM, recovery, etc).
It starts the update (Android with spinning wire frame ball), gets about 25% done and then the update fails with the "dead android" symbol.
Thanks
Boowho??
Problem solved..... Thanks. Was able to flash via update.zip on SD card.
One damn thing after another!!!

Everything did work fine for a day. Now I cannot enter recovery using the hardware buttons.
Using an APK called "Quick Boot" I can easily boot into CWM from the home screen and everything is fine. Root is fine, bootloader unlocked properly, etc.
Everything acting as I would expect.... BUT....
Unfortunately, not being able to enter recovery from HARD boot pretty much makes any recovery worthless, right??
Anything besides hardware that could be causing this?? The volume rockers work just fine as volume controls.
Thanks
Boowho??
This problem solved too....... Brainfart!!!

Ok so its been along while since I have played with my rooted TF101. I use to be able to flash a new ROM no problem. Well I got rusty. The last ROM I had flashed every time I turned the tablet on it would go to recovery first. I had to reboot and manually choose to reboot my OS. Well I don't really use my tablet anymore so I was going to unroot it and sell it to a friend. Well I went in to the CWM recovery and started to try and flash my stock ROM. well it was on the SD card and not the tablet so it wasn't recognized and I made the mistake of formatting the whole tablet. System included.
So No I can only turn on the tablet and enter CWM. I downloaded easyflasher and tried to flash the stock ROM and unroot but it won't recognize the tablet. I can't get it in to APX mode. I have tried and the computer makes the connected sound but it doesn't read the device at all. I have tried everything to make sure it is in APX but the computer will never show that it is there. Just make the sound and that's it. So I'm stuck in a brick that I can't get out of.
How do I get out of it all?
Thank you.

So you have already successfully installed the naked drivers on your computer? and when you have the tablet connected to the computer, are you able to enter APX mode (hold power button and volume up until screen goes black). What does the device manger show on the computer when the table is connected?
