Custom kernel - AT&T Samsung Galaxy S II Skyrocket SGH-I727

Is there any kernel that has oc and uv and can be used on the jb leaks?

No

xcrazy is correct, no touchwiz based kernels support such things. CM10 based kernels however DO support such things

The reason being we do not have samsungs source code to modify the kernel for said purposes.

So.... After an official release from Samsung or Google.. Do they also release the source code? Or even with the official release and all the devs work their magic on the base rom.. We are limited kernel wise?

As of now I know Jim is working on kexec for our phone. He says it can be buggy at times though...

I know what roms we have. Some devs that can put together roms, will not touch kernels and vice versa.

why is project butter not available on jb?

Is it because it is based on hardware acceleration which we do not have?
Sent from my LG-P999 using xda app-developers app
Yes that is why. Yet again we need kernel source for everything to work properly, although even with that, project butter might not work as fully as possible.

Why wouldn't it work of we have kernel sources?

Cause Country Crock hasn't churned it out yet.

I can't remember exactly, since jelly bean isn't available for the 2x, the project butter will be harder to enable fully, I read it somewhere, the basic stuff of butter could only possibly work. Possibly.

Why are rom authors still using the old 4.2 keyboard?

They are all using the older build with the crappy bubbles.
U mad?

So why don't you just replace it then

Has anyone who has used this also tried Slim Bean? I'm getting a little flash happy and interested in trying some other roms out. Wondering how this compares.
I would try slim bean if I could find the actual download link for it
