Is it because it is based on hardware acceleration which we do not have?

Yes that is why. Yet again we need kernel source for everything to work properly, although even with that, project butter might not work as fully as possible.

I can't remember exactly, since jelly bean isn't available for the 2x, the project butter will be harder to enable fully, I read it somewhere, the basic stuff of butter could only possibly work. Possibly.

Need help from a developer that knows more about building!

The Current build has been scrapped...
Starting over to instead build from source
*Updates should come out faster by building from source*

Is there a ROM available that has Zram with GPS working?
I've been trying to find anything with the search function, but nothing seems to pop up.
Try an ICS ROM.

well shucks. back to 10.somethingelse then
it's not like cm-10 is bad, but i'd rather be able to be current. i wonder if no one cares about a compass anymore, or just very few people use it.
hmm
I use it and I find it annoying that it's not working. While it's not necessary while geocaching it does help.
