[Q] How to reset wrong code counter - General Questions and Answers

Hello!
I have a little problem. I have entered unlock code wrong 10 times (before knowing correct code) on my Huawei E353 HSPA Modem. Now I can`t enter the code and it shows "Only the specified sim/usim card can be used on the device". Now what? Counter reset software provided on the internet wont work, because is very old. Really need to unlock this modem, because it is faster and newer. I have working unlock code for it, but I am unable to enter it.
How to enter unlock code or reset the counter?

[Q] Motorla BackFlip MB300 - Can I reset the unlock count?

Forgive me if this is somewhere else, but I really looked first
I bought a tellus locked Backflip. It looked ok.
I then ordered an unlock code from a provider on the internet.
This priovider has worked 100% before so I trust that the unlock code is valid.
When I go to enter the code, the phone tells me that the network unlock failed and number of attempts is 0.
It seems that the person before me tried to unlock with invalid codes too many times and now it's blocked.
What can I do (if anything) to restore the count and enter my valid unlock code/?
Please help!!

[Q] Question about unlocking and nv_data.bin

Hello, I have a question about SIM Unlock and nv_data.bin.
First, sorry for my English
I have a Samsung Galaxy 3 I buyed to Vodafone Spain. The phone came locked by the carrier, and with Android 2.1. When the 2.2 roms began to be available to other carriers I flashed them with ODIN, so now, I have the latest version from Spain FOP (not Vodafone). I have never rooted the phone, or unlocked bootloader or anything else. Then only I have done is flashing the phone by ODIN and wipe it to factory reset.
The problem I have now is that I want to sim unlock it to use in other carrier. So I buyed a code (with the phone IMEI and the model(i5800)) to a code seller. I have buyed codes in this web for other phones (Nokia, Huawei and Sony Ericsson) and always the code have worked perfect on the phone, unlocking it perfectly. So I purchased the code for my i5800, but the problem is that the code they gave to me (8 numbers), doesn´t work, it says code invalid.
I have contacted with the seller but at the moment, they have no replied me. So, I found a tutorial in internet that says that if I extract nvdata.bin from the phone, I could get the code with a Windows app called Samsung Galaxy S Code Extractor(or something like that), so I decided to get the code by this method, since this method doesn´t require to alter system o root or anything, only extract a file by ADB
The problem is this method didn´t give me any code, is like nv_data.bin have losed the code in my phone.
So, my question is, if my nv_data.bin have losed the code, can it be the reason the code I buyed doesn´t work? I means, when I introduce the code in my phone, does it compare the code with the code inside nv_data.bin?? or have nothing to do?
Thanks in advance
i apologize for the long post

galaxy core sim unlock

hello,i searched the forum but cannot find any info on how to unlock my galaxy core locked to Orange
anybody can help me out please
i was wondering if there is an unlock like for the S3 from service menu

Go to the detail page for your phone on
FastGSM.com
Select a service.
Click Buy Now and follow the instructions. You
will be asked to create an account or sign into
your existing account.
For unlock codes, make sure to select
Samsung Unlock Codes with the correct
region where the phone is currently network
locked (i.e., EUROPE ).
Find your phone’s unique IMEI (identification
number).
To find the IMEI number, power on the phone
without a SIM card and type *#06# on the
keypad.
The phone will display the IMEI number.
Submit your IMEI to the FastGSM website. Enter
the number without spaces or slashes. Your IMEI
is only the first 15 digits.
Wait to receive your phone’s unique unlock code
(s) by email.
Type your unique Network unlock code
(NCK) .
Click Unlock .
If you get a message saying Unsuccessful , it
means there have been too many failed attempts
to enter the unlock code.
If this happens, full reset your phone by typing
*2767*3855# and wait until the phone has
restarted (all data will be erased).
Type your unique Unfreeze code (MCK) into
the SIM network unlock PIN screen.
You will get another message saying
Unsuccessful, but don’t worry—this is fine.
Now type your unique Network unlock code
(NCK) and click Unlock .
At this point you should be prompted for your
Network unlock code (NCK) .
Type the code and the phone will be unlocked.
Type the following. Replace Network (NCK)
with your actual code:
#0111*Network (NCK) #
If you get the Phone freeze message, it means
there have been too many failed attempts to
enter the unlock code.
However, you can still unlock the phone using the
Unfreeze code (MCK) .
If your phone has a physical keypad, type the
Unfreeze code (MCK) into the Phone freeze
screen. Nothing will show up—this is fine. If
nothing happens, you can try hitting # or the
Call key after entering the code.
If your phone has only a touch screen, tap Call
on the Phone freeze screen and then enter your
Unfreeze code (MCK) .
Once phone freeze is disabled, Network lock or
SP lock screen will appear. Follow the directions
for Network lock or SP lock to unlock
your phone.
Type the following. Replace Unfreeze (MCK)
with your actual code:
#0199*Unfreeze (MCK)#
At this point you should be prompted for your
SPCK code.
Type the code and the phone will be unlocked.
Enter your Unfreeze code (MCK) at the
prompt.
Type the following. Replace Unfreeze (MCK)
with your actual code:
#0149*Unfreeze (MCK)#
Power on the phone without SIM card.
Dial #7465625 638 #
Type your unique Unfreeze code (MCK)
You will get another message saying
Unsuccessful, but don’t worry—this is fine.
Now type your unique Network unlock code
(NCK)

Try a different (non-AT&T/Rogers) SIM for starters...
I recall a "No SIM" method kicking around, I just have to remember it.
UPDATE: From offsite...
If your phone does not ask for the unlock code:
1. Turn on the phone with original Sim card or without Sim card
2. Enter #7465625*638*NCK/Network#
The phone is now unlocked.
If your phone does not ask for the unlock code:
1. Turn on the phone with a foreign (Unaccepted) Sim card
2. Then enter the following sequence:
#0199*Unfreeze/Defreeze#
#0111*NCK/Network#
#0121*SCK/Subprovider#
#0133*SPCK/Provider#
The phone is now unlocked.

According to the phone specs versus the Vodaphone frequencies, you may be stuck with 2G as well.
i cant dial any of those because i always get the same msg " no network available"

Yikes. Try without a SIM, and see if the message (including the lockscreen msg) is any different.
You may have a bent or broken pin in the SIM tray...
