Yes. More specifically: adb push
In recovery, mount your sdcard partition, then:
adb push c:\path\to\your\rom.zip /sdcard/
This pushes the file into the /sdcard/ directory on your device. You can then flash it.
-Jobo
If you mount the sd card just copy and past the Rom from your pc to your phone...seems easier to me..

This sort of happened to me before. try downloading and installing the file attached. It should do the trick. N.B- You need to have root access.
ok thanks. I have root access (i think, fairly new to all this, apologies).
How do I run the file??
Thanks.
sorry to be a pain

Boot your phone (make sure the file is on your phone), then simply select the file and follow the onscreen instructions. After that, select it's icon in the menu and choose to allow it to automatically operate when USB is connected. Then just allow root access and you're good to go. Try your rom flashing again and it should be successful.
hey
thanks for your help, but I currently have no ROM / OS installed on the phone, so can only boot into recovery / fastboot etc.
not into android os.

Since you can boot into recovery and access your phone from your computer, then just flash the stock windows mobile rom to your phone. I think that would work and it does make sense. If it does work then you can continue doing what you want after you have done it.
Do you mean flash it via fastboot? I'm sturuggling to get files across from my pc... sorry to be a pain...
I can access the SD card to drag files in recovery. but cant isntall from the sd on my phone.
tried flashing files direct to phone with fastboot but coundt. probably just got it wrong. gahhh.

Have you tried a different SD Card or a sdhc card? One of them might help.

I need to purchase one first, hopefully will get chance this week.
Any links to best guide to make a goldcard btw?
Thanks.

you could try mounting it in mounts and storage options then reboot CWM and see if that did it

I'm having the same problem man. Tried flashing the same rom as you. Any resolve??
Just for the heck of it maybe try this: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1118111
Download the sd card patch zip file to your computer. Take out your sd card and use an adapter to plug it into your computer. Paste the zip onto sd card. Re-insert sd back into your phone. Pull up your recovery and install the sd card patch zip file through the recovery system. Then reboot.
Let us know if that works.
Had a similar issue and had to remount through ADB. I'm a complete noob and was able to figure it out. I found this posted on Rootzwiki, maybe this will help:
Run the commands when in recovery, press and hold Vol. Up, Home, and Power until the screen goes black and then SAMSUNG shows up again, then let go to get into recovery. And ADB is part of the Android SDK. Here's a guide on installing it.
Use the following (you need adb for this)
Code:
adb shell rm /sdcard
adb shell mkdir /sdcard
adb shell mount /sdcard
Hi!
Can someone help me?
I was trying to install megatron, with rogue's recovery when an error ocurred and left me with no rom on my transformer.
Then I installed touch recovery and tried again with no luck. Now, i can not install any .zip from my microsd.
What can i do? I can not go past the bootscreen! Is there any way to push any zip to my internal memory with adb while on recovery!
Thanks!!
You know the Team Rouge can read the external micro sd card right?
Use ADB to push file to internal sd.
Also of your TF is nvflash compatible use that
Yeah, i know. The problem is, how can i go back to rogue's recovery?
Or even install any .zip? I cant use ADB while on touch recovery... and nvflash is out of question since i have a B80...
Please... Does someone know how to access through ADB while on touch recovery? Which drivers should i install? I've used adb before!
Can someone please tell me how can i use abd while on touch recovery?
I've used it before when the transformer had a working rom and know i can't... do i need any special driver? I've read somewhere about a adb testing interface driver, is that it?
[SOLVED] Had to manually choose and install the Asus ADB Device driver in the Device Manger. Now adb recognises the transformer while on recovery mode.

I guess this method works only with Rogue XM Recovery v1.3.0 bcuz it's the only recovery that has option to install from internal memory, the rest of recoveries don't work, Right? Correct me if I'm wrong.

Roach's 3.2.0.1 read from external micro sd card
Team Rouge Read from internal and external sd
CWM 5.5.0.4 and touch version 5.8.1.8 read from internal sd only.
If you have Team Rouge or Roach 3.2.0.1 there's no need to push file to internal sd as it read from external micro sd.
If you have 5.5.0.4 or 5.8.1.8 and have wiped everything you need to push something back to internal to flash.
Sup Guy's! I want to know how to mount SD card via CWM??? I have touch recovery and when I try to mount SD card via recovery it do not mount why!!!
Okay yeah I soft bricked trying to do the one click root for One X on a One S listening to some advice on another thread. So, what I got now is a soft bricked device! Woke up this morning and decided to push root via fastboot, works flawlessly! Now my problem is mounting SD card to PC via CWM because I can't boot up the device. I need to transfer over a custom rom to be able to use my phone again. Is there a RUU T-MOUS???????????????????????????

and wait some more
and there is it on your sdcard flash your rom

Mount USB storage option does not work yet, I hear it should be possible once we have the kernel code from HTC, but until then use the method zylith posted as a temp fix
Case closed! Thank you guys so much! I'm back up and running

I accidentally wiped by SYSTEM partition (ouch) but my nandroid backup is not stored on the phone. I know in TWRP you can mount USB storage and transfer the file, but I heard this is risky (corruption) compared to the adb/fastboot method.
So I have now connected my phone via fastboot but I can't seem to find a command that will push my android backup files to the SD card. Can someone help? Thanks!
Your better off doing it through mass storage
AdB is alot slower
You could do adb push "file" /sdcard/
but it would be slow like I said and you would have to know the directory names to push the nandroid
My suggestion would be to push a aosp ROM just to get it flashed and booted then transfer the nandroid

NVM: got it working. Thanks!
