MIUI Music Player for gingerbread

MIUI music player !.. works well on our device. v3.0 for gingerbread roms.

In MIUI player there is an option for downloading lyrics.. But when I used it, it shows 'downloading failed' and 'lyrics manager failed'. What shall I about it?

I dont use lyrics btw, but i tried to check it out, but .. i too have the same issue.
On my miui rom running on my moto xt, miui music player worked beautifully with lyrics auto enabled.
Let me check the versions..

Thanks for the link; good find!
I've worked on this version to correctly display the checkboxes and settings with select not wrapping excessively. It's still Gingerbread and no working Lyrics or Internet services. Not a high demand for this but since the link the OP provided is still active and i posted same link in rootzwiki. There may be others in XDA looking for compatible miui player. Screenshots reflect some image swaps.
Tested on my Samsung Epic 4G LegacyBlackdog deodexed ROM.

and it seems the problem there is the app can't connect to a certain server.. well anyway i only use offline music files..

Hi everybody I'm sharing this CM Music Player which got in net...it is awesome and sounds great also smaller size compared to Google play music... It has heavy customizable settings provided by Andrew Neal the developer of Apolo ..

My frend its clearly written u can use it on 4+ versions dat means u can use it on 4.0.4 or 4.1.2
It WONT work on CM7.

Response issue
After using this player couple of days in my GFIT ( rom by erikcas latest build ) i face the issues like ( music not responding...). i thought its because of low device config of galaxy fit (limited RAM and processing speed 600mhz) but when i tested in my sony xperia which comes with 4.0.4 there also the same issue....so the problem is with player....then googled the place where i got the player and got some links of original development....The app CM 9 music developed by ANDREW NEAL d same who developed APOLO app....i wanted some modders to fix this issue because its a greatest player that i faced till .....So come forward any one to fix this problem

I figured out y we get these messages, coz wen we are listening songs and try to scroll in the music list it gives such error.
Try this : Pause the current song u r playing and then scroll it will not give these error and it will scroll smoothly
i did the same and it worked.. very boring to do dis always so installed the original music player.

I've uninstalled it too , I'm using Apollo ATM
Can anyone know which music player consumes less ram coz Apollo and some other players consume about 20mb of ram and maybe above that !!

buddy, just tried installing in Cm10.1 of Digital clock but while pushing it in /system.
Keyboard can be pushed also. BTW, lots of is to b added. I think soon we will have compatible with Cm10.1.

Were all the apps modified to work on older roms? A normal install won't work as they're all for 4.2.2 (and TW).

Nup buddy. Actually all are extracted from dump of SG4.
But few users made it deodexed. I have updated the same in news thread.

Stock Music player needed...

While i was fiddling with some apps through Titanium backup i deliberately wiped stock music player app. I do have a backup(done via Titanium Backup) of the same but i cannot restore it the way i backed it up. Can someone please help me to get the apk file of Samsung Stock music player app... ?
And also the method through which i can install or restore it in working condition ? Any help will be appreciated.
I really liked the sound customizations of stock music player app which is even greater in stock Samsung JB music player app. Someone help me get either ICS or JB Samsung stock music player app which should be compatible with my Galaxy R.
I'm on Stock ICS (I9103ZSLQ3) with ardatdat kernel v4.2 b6

Delete odex file of music player app if exists.
Flash it in recovery. If it doesnt get installed then extract the apk file and install it like normal apk or push it to system/app/ and set permissions.

Use any root explorer (say solid explorer)
Go to root folder -> system -> app
there you will find MusicPlayer.odex file. delete it.

You just need to copy and paste the apk file from your sdcard to system/app folder.
here is about how you set permissions
In this case you need to set permissions as 0644 (-rw-r--r--)
P.S. Flashing the zip file i attached will do everything. Manual procedure is just incase if it doesnt work.

I flashed it through CWM although it plays the song but none of the sound effects are working... and the player itself keep crashing once in a while.
Are you also using the same version of that ? Is this compatible with our SGR?

Yes I am using the same. For me it crashes only when i press 'End' button in options. Else it works flawlessly. For you It is crashing oftenly may be because you didnt delete odex file! Equilizer doesnt works, it is a known bug. Visit this thread.
If you dont like this S3 music player. i can upload stock one also!

SGS3 music player is great. I was using it for a while on ICS.

I wanted that stock player for Equalizer only if it won't work then its of no use to me. I uses Galaxy Tab 2 which has the same music player as SGS3 and i really like its Equalizer very much but i can't use tab for my music needs everywhere, that's why i wanted it in my SGR.
Anyway could u please upload Stock Music player of Galaxy R ?

Not working for me too.
if you desperately need that music player only, then you need to reflash rom.
else you could also give a try to MiUi Music player. Equilizer works flawlessly and Music player is awesome.

Flashing the ROM is the last thing i'd do coz i'm too lazy to do all that backup and restoration thing. I'd try this Miui player.. thanks for that

Here is logcat
it wasnt mentioned hence i took 2 logcats
1) during pushing file to system only (logcat1) (ignore following if this is sufficient)
2) first one followed by reboot (logcat2)

[APP] Galaxy S5 Music Player

This is the music player from the S5, it is a flashable zip.
It doesn't work, you can only open it and see how it looks like some people said it's working but not for me but at least you can try it.
It crashes all the time but I was hoping someone could get it working.

Updated the OP

It works for me if i dont go to the album chart. Chosing artist works fine but it fcs if i press album.
Everything else seems to work now..

Because of my random stupidity I totally forgot to backup the old music apks. Is there anybody who has the original files saved on a file host and is willing to share them with me? I'd be very thankfull, since I'm still on (rooted) stock rom and don't have any ROM around to extract these files from. Thx in advance!
