Not here, not gonna expected to be invited as I'm rooted but this is progress and is good news, so anyone who is not rooted and gets invited please do report on how it is

I am an HTC "You Club" member ( https://eclub.htc.com/us/secure/ ), which I suspect is what was blurred out in that announcement email.
I just checked my profile and noticed that I didn't identify my carrier ... probably why I didn't get an email.

Bonsai master key is a great way to root your phone. MOD EDIT: Link gone I think. Its free just register like you did at xda. Now xda needs to allow this link or start listening to themselves and stop requiring people to register here to see links to things. Or is xda afraid of free enterprise? My phone app on the lockscreen disappeared earlier today and I went in to put it back but it wasn't listed in the options of apps you can choose from for the lockscreen. Any idea how I can get the phone app back on my lockscreen? Thanks in advance!
I'm having the same problem. What I found in Google was same issue happened with the evo 3d and they pushed out another OTA update to fix it.
I guess we have to wait for it

Any updates on this? I installed the APK and after several attempts managed to get it running. The thought of having Portal on the go is very exciting...I just hope the project isn't abandoned.

I was playing around with the Dessert Case (Android 4.4 KitKat's 'easter egg'), when I found a couple of weird icons apart from normal Android version icons...
