No you can't flash a rom without an unlocked boot loader.
This is all over the forums and has been asked multiple times, just do a quick search for your answer before askin the question.

actually you can....but with security turned off meaning s-off
however ATM if yours is s-on you cant...

You cannot search, you cannot root, in fact this phone cannot even make calls.Return your phone and exchange for an iPhone. Then go to iPhone forums and post many threads asking how to jailbreak. Thank you.

[Q] Can't Acces Hboot

Hello, i was rooting my HTC Sensation with a tutorial.. when i had to insert the command "fastboot oem writesecureflag 3" into adb shell and rebooted the phone it only shows a black screen. i cant access hboot neither.
Some Help?

It isn't inspire.. its sensation.. i dont know why i wrote inspire

That tutorial is for the HTC Sensation, not the Inspire 4G. I'm going to hope someone who knows how to flash a RUU in this state shows up here.
In the meantime, does the phone connect to PC? Is it detected? How about using ADB?
EDIT: This is the Inspire forums. I would recommend that you ask in the Sensation forums.

I would recommend that you post in the Sensation forums. We Inspire users wouldn't know about another phone.

Sorry for a stupid question but forum won't let me ask in appropriate Thread?
I am one of those with WiFi problems on the HTC Sensation 4G,
I am trying to doenload the Toolkit to root and hopefully fix the problem from
here: http://forum.xda-developers.com/showthread.php?t=1497404
but the link in post#2 just times out all the time.

Ohh dev host is down it seems..
Hey why don't you try my one click root tool.. If you did htc-Dev unlock and if you just want root.. The. Use the one click root tool from my soff guide... Link is in my signature

go brick yourself
just root and unlock, then flash recovery and rom. all the information you need is super easy to find.

Which file are you needing? There are many different versions of the file that serve many different purposes.
