[Q] Unfortunately play store has stopped, and talk, and plants vs - General Questions and Answers

So I bought two of 7'' A10 Google Android 4.0 OS MID Capacitive Touch Screen Gsensor Tablet [By TabletExpress] from Amazon for my two sons for Christmas. They came rooted and I set the first one up with all the kids blocks and apps and it worked great! Then I went to one for my ten year old and decided to delete talk not knowing that it would screw up the whole thing. Before my error was No Connection. But After browsing the forum I figured out no talk, no play store.
I used the other tablet with Titanium back up to back up all the correct installs of play store and talk and re installed both. Now my error for play, talk and plants vs zombies is Unfortunately Play store has stopped.
Because I have no idea who manufactured the tablets I haven't been able to get a good factory restore. I can factory restore but it won't re install the deleted programs. I tried a nand backup of the working tablet and it won't install on the other tablet.
I have downloaded the gapps for the correct build and installed those, no luck.
Can someone help me with which way to go? I feel like I am chasing my tail in circles...

Fuhu Nabi 2 Help Needed!

Hi, My cousin just bought a Fuhu Nabi 2 for his daughter and we found out it has no Google Play Store, Is there any way to root this device and install the Play store? This tablet is a beast, super fast the only downside is the market. Please I would really appreciate any help, my niece like to navigate the store more than she likes to play the games itself. Thanks in advance.
I bought one for my nephew too, there was a way to get it working but seems the latest google play update has broken it. I haven't even seen or touched the tablet yet so it's kinda hard. My brother has been doing the work to it.
So far I've got him using "App Backup & Restore" to backup apps from his phone and copy them to the tablet. But hopefully we can find a way to use the market on them.
rooted and fully working market

Ematic FunTab Pro Google Play

Just wanted to put this out there somewhere maybe it will help someone.
I recently purchased an Ematic FunTab Pro from Walmart.com and was able to install Google Play store by simply loading an older market.apk file.
All of the other Google Framework was already on this tablet.
Unfortunately the tablet I received had a damaged screen so I had to return it but wanted to let everyone know that it should be very possible to add Google Play to this tablet.
how do you load google play?

I just searched it on Google. Just type something like "Google play store apk". I've got it installed on my little brother's fun tab pro but I can't figure out how to get it to work. It keeps force closing whenever I open it or when I try to install an app with it. I heard the Google framework doesn't come with the tablet, how did that other guy have the framework already there? Any help would be appreciated but I'm going to try a few more things to see if I can get it to work too. Thanks.
Same problem here, I bought two of them for my boys. Tryin to figure it out. I'm able to side load app from random websits. I'm not a big fan of that though.
I'm just using the slideme market for now. Its better than the broken app stores preinstalled
These things are horrible, nothing works, apps crash. I consider myself an advanced android user and this is pathetic. Im getting a headache. Were returning them back to Walmart later.
My solution:
Download APK extractor and Wifi file transfer (wifi transfer app optional) with registered android device.
Download desired apps to registered Android device.
Use APK extractor to extract app (no root needed)
Either use wifi transfer (wireless and more convenient) or use PC to transfer APK files to FunTab. (Files can be found in the "APKextractor" folder from registered android device and move them to to the desired folder in the FunTab ) detach from computer.
Install APK on fun tab using stock file browser
Thank me and enjoy.
Amazon App Store
Try installing the amazon app store.
Ematic Funtab 7" tablet
My sister bought this tablet for my 2 year old son for christmas he loves it but it would be nice if I can install Netflix on his tab so he can watch SuperWhy and YoGABA GABA and all that kiddie stuff he likes.
I'm trying to install the Google Play APK and Netflix APK the apps try to launch but they don't open, and they crash.
I read somewhere that I would have to send the tab to Ematic and they have to remove a "lock" so I can install all this stuff. From my understanding Zoodles causes this "lock" and it tricks the tab into thinking the outsourced apps are outdated and cannot launch.
I imagine that this so-called "lock" is just having to root this device.
Has anyone tried rooting it? He just received it, yesterday, I would hate to send it to Ematic just so they can root it.
Help?
Google Play Store
I have a Yuntab S4 running 4.2.1 Android which has BIG problem downloading Google Play & any other aps from this store...Do you have a URL for the mentioned "older market.apk" file? Thanks!

Game backup doesn't work after changing ROM

I've recently flashed a new version of my current ROM and although Real Racing works like a champ after restoring my Titanium backup, NFS Most Wanted won't play ball. When I try to launch the app I get the message "NFS is not authorised for this Android device, and it immediately closes. Going to the Play Store whilst logged into the same Google account I purchased the game with shows me NFS as if I had not purchased.
Restoring my nandroid of the earlier ROM allows me to go to the Play Store (logged in with the exact same Google account) and NFS MW shows as purchased.
Presumably this is to do with device ID, perhaps? Can anyone explain, please?
EDIT:
Resolved by restoring nandroid where game worked, flashing new ROM from scratch and restoring Android ID from old nandroid when asked by Titanium if I wanted to keep new ID or restore old Android ID.

STOCK TF101 - Factory reset, Google Play Store broken. Ideas?

So, I have a TF101 that I had rooted and played around with.. tried kitkat, ICS, etc... Now I have something else, and I want to give this tablet to someone else.. but I want it to be unrooted, stock rom. So, I flashed it back to factory and reset it. The needs of the next user are extremely simple, so stock should work fine...
...however, I can't get Google Play Store to work at all. I've done much research, and some say to just wait 3+ days for google play services to update itself, etc. no dice... I left it plugged in and running, checking each day to ensure it was still connected to wifi so that it could do whatever it needed to do. Nope. I found a thread on another webforum where someone described the exact problem, then at the end he said "problem solved, thank you" without actually describing what happened. Sad. sigh.
I've noticed that google play services isn't even on the stock firmware. instead, it's called google play framework. Perhaps that's part of the problem? I dunno.
I tried downloading the most recent version of google play services and manually installing the APK, but that didn't work either, google play store keeps crashing. Perhaps I need to also download a few more APK's go go along with it, but I need help identifying what is current.. or at least, I need to identify one recent enough that it can then update it self to current.
So.. I'm stuck. Can someone point me in the right direction to try to bring this fully STOCK TF101 up to at LEAST a version of google play store that works? APKs? tweaks?
Flashing to a custom rom is my LAST resort. I don't need any help doing that.. but I want to try to make Stock work again first.
BTW, that original Youtube app from stock all those years ago... it was pretty cool looking now I'm stuck with it.
Use Easyflasher:

This will put it back to factory new condition and remove Root.
Sorry if I wasn't clear. I have successfully flashed the unit back to stock rom and completely wiped and reset to factory. then I turned it on, and google play store won't run. I want to install apps normally.

I had the same problem.
I found the newest playstore on internet and installed it.
Then I had no problems anymore.
That seems to have worked! I had assumed I would need to update google play services first, but apparely I just needed a new Google Play Store APK. I found one that works here: http://www.apkmirror.com/apk/google...google-play-store-6-0-7-android-apk-download/
I downloaded the APK and ran it, and the play store now runs and is updating all other apps on the old TF101. Sweet.
Dunno if Google Play Framework will automatically replace itself with Google Play Services or what, but I'll keep an eye out for that.
Just to followup and close this topic... The tablet is now up and running with multiple apps from the play store, and my wife is now using it to read kindle books and mess with her nursing app. I was planning to give it to her mother, but she intercepted it when it started working
So, basically - if you want to go back to stock firmware - flash to stock, factory reset, then download and install current playstore (as per link above) and don't worry about Google Play Services, it will sort itself out.

Alcatel OneTouch Fierce XL on the fritz!

Im having a problem myself and wondering if this is the fix. So a while back I used kingroot to root (obviously) and it was great for a couple weeks then I started getting force close messages mostly related to google apps including play store and framework. Obviously something is wrong and whatever it is having caused issues with framework is causing me not to be able to play games (sometimes) and not being able to log in to games using google account (always) cant check gmail, cant use google search half the time, etc.. I decided I would just knuckle under and deal with it being no way to flash a rom to fix it or to flash gapps to fix it but now im just sick of it. Im not entirely new to root, I rooted my old Motorola Atrix 2 (multiple roms) and my LG G2 and LG G3 and my brothers phone (dont remember the name). I hate not having access to twrp and all those tools..
SO, ive tried all the little things like clearing the cache of play store and even uninstalled all google apps and reinstalled them and tried different versions of framework but to no avail. Ive tried all the tips and all the "fixes". I either need to know if this will fix my problem or if someone has a link to a proper version of play store and framework to see if thats my problem. If anyone can help me fix my phone I would be eternally grateful.
