Is here ROM with multi-window feature from Note II ? Or enybody plans to release it ?

AGAIN, this is the Q&A section which is EXACTLY where questions belong, maybe you guys should check what section your in before bashing someones head in for posting in the wrong spot when they are in the right spot.

DOESN"T say it was moved, usually when post are moved its noted in the thread header.

I'm the one who reported the thread and made a mod move this thread! So calm down! When you saw it, it was in the q/a section. When we saw it, it was in the dev section. And no one bashed his head.

Why? Not appropriate? I figured since it was related to a ROM release, it was appropriate. Most people in the Q&A or general section probably don't know how to pull an update without installing it.

Is it possible to port MIUI to the sidekick as well as keep the sidekick unique features such as the custom texting apps (group texting, cloud texting, sidekick message apk) and possibly add the sidekick unique social networking notification updater?

Anyways.. we would need a working gingerbreak leak from samsung to get a functional gingerbread ROM. And we can't Run any AOSP ROMs unless someone ports it . And its not easy. But in he future if you have a question don't post It in the development section.

for questions, the general and Q&A section would be the proper place.. if every question about development is posted in the DEV section we'd see more questions then threads containing actual development. which is actually happening to our SK4G forums now

Im aware of off topic. I mean something within the sensation forums or in the general forum. XDA needs an IRC room for each device IMO. it would prevent alot of needless threads.

The best way to root is to use the hack kit because its flawless in execution. And all other methods have a higher chance of failing. So use the ace hack kit and use VM or boot camp to load windows and do it from there. Other wise go to a school or other windows computer and execute.
And please remember to post in the right section from now on. Otherwise it'll be an all out attack.
Just pack up the phone, send it back, and get an iPhone. Or you could start to follow the rules of xda.

I was wondering if it's possible to install backtrack 5 on the Samsung Galaxy Tab 2 GT-P3113 (rooted). I found some instructions for the 10.1 inch model but not for this device. I'm related question that I have is, can the wifi adapter of this tablet be placed in promiscuous mode(monitor mode)?
Yes... it's possible. I've been able to do it but it's still pretty buggy.
Metasploit doesn't work after updating, also no postgresql included in package... no monitor mode for wireless.. lots of other issues.
Do a google search of 'backtrack 5 galaxy s3' it will be one of the first links to come up, XDA won't let me post it here.
