The right place to post this but I have to say how much I love this forum and appreciate all the work and genius constantly shared here. I'm a mom of 2 teenage boys who are often surprised about what I know and the "cool" phone I have. I come here daily, read and learn. I really want to start learning more about coding and development. So thank u for keeping me tech savvy! Lol! I hope to contribute one day to this community. That's all. ;-)

I love the sgs4g, and our xda community! I too have been learning alot and really admire our progress and deving scene lately. From the old hands to the new folks I want to thank you all for being so helpful and all your contributions to our xda community.

I have to say everybody who doubted we would get mods and updates on our phones without waiting 6 months to a year, was soo wrong. 4-5 months after it was released and look where we are now thx to xda!

Thanks to the Developers because you guys create and fix and re-fix and debug and re-debug the coolest ROMS ever. Then when that's done you post them and answer all sorts of questions whether intelligent or not from those like me who have no clue whatsoever how you did it but are grateful that you do.
Thanks to the Themers because you guys offer us touch ups, tweaks, and themes for just about everything on the phone including but not limited to dialers, wall papers, splash screens, battery mods, skins, and a plethora of other things that between themers and ROM developers make our lives much more fun and our wives lives much more stressful with our tinkering.
Thanks to everyone who writes a script that does this or that or some other thing for our smart phones.
Thanks to those who were brave enough to root their phones "and voided your warranty" because you inspired me and others like me to give it a go.
Thanks for the forums that allow us to come together as a community to figure out and enjoy our phones real potential regardless of what carriers and manufacturers think we want.

General thanks (given the season)

So I was thinking on the way home, how great the forums have gotten lately. For while there it got slow and really negative as everyone said the good dev work had left. But there are some really great people still here working hard on a great phone.
With that I want to say thanks to people like bedwaa, jordanelliott, bigfau, entropy, dman, supercurio, linuxbozo, dagr8 (and I am sure others that i am forgetting) that have made these last few weeks fun. I am sure there are more to come.
Also thanks to those who try and help others without flaming and contribute nicely to making more development. I pledge to continue helping when I can.
So without that, thanks, I love my phone and can do more with it than most of my dumbfounded friends and family. Makes me feel smart (that's a first).

Again, dman, thank you. What I really find cool, especially with all the roms lately, is that each rom seems to be different for everyone 's phone. What works for one person might be glitchy for someone else. That's cool, move on to another great rom.

Being a former Apple user myself, I feel for them. I'm surprised that the video did not mention the new feature of the Iphone to swipe up and access settings from the current page. LOL (did not copy from android as we swipe down, haha)
