I am trying to flash the official 4.1.2 rom through Odin but everytime I try I get the error "FAIL".When it comes to the last part of the flashing,it says, recover.bin
modem.bin
radio
and FAIL.
I tried flashing from stock rom, custom rom;also tried clearing cache, factory reset, dalvik cache but none of them worked.Any thoughts?
I think it's about the difference of the motherboards of the two models. So no need to try anymore and continue with Darkman_RS's stock deodexed custom rom.

Everytime I try to flash the stock KL2 my phone wont let me. It tries to install then it says "bad" any help?
Nvm I just ended up using the kK4 rom
I have a question im on ics now, and i want to goto a JB ROM Can i just flash a JB rom, i have tried just gets stuck at the boot screen. Do i need to update anything. i tried flashing a stock att jb release on Odin still no luck im kinda confused usually works but i can flash a ICS rom no problem
Edit: fixed did a factory reset / wipe
If you have an ATT skyrocket, I just updated mine to the official JB via samsung kies.
I have a GT-P6210 from Canada (No IR) and back when it was Honeycomb I had no problems with it.
When the ICS rom appeared I installed it and it worked for a while. However, I accidentally wiped from the stock recovery, which we now all know causes a brick. At the time, CWM was only a temporary recovery and it wouldn't accept my HC backups (different partitions?) so I went crazy trying to fix it.
I tried:
To flash ICS again. It didn't really work out for me.
To flash CM9. It got stuck at the CM9 bootlogo.
To flash a patched .pit and ICS.
I was able to flash a patched .pit but I couldn't complete the ICS flashing. It booted... to a screen saying that the "encryption" failed. I sent the tab to my uncle and he was able to flash ICS. This restored the tablet to a mostly working condition
However, because of the patched .pit I flashed earlier, it only has ~800MB of internal storage.
Now, I was thinking about my next step. Should I try to reflash the original .pit and Honeycomb then hope that I get lucky while wiping with stock HC recovery? Should I try to flash JB? Should I use the original .pit and flash JB? Should I just try to live with the fact that I'll be stuck with this problem until I get a new tablet in a few years? Please advice.
EDIT: If I use Mobile ODIN to flash, say, HC from ICS, will that work?
EDIT 2: When I flashed a patched .pit I didn't use emmc_find_brick_start.zip and emmc_find_brick_end.zip and I just randomly went with a patched .pit for the device.
EDIT 3: Say if I flash PA in the tab's current state, will it crash and go boom or I'll have a ~800MB PA experience?

i experienced this with my tab,What I did was going back to stock HC and do full wipe, then flash ics using heimdall not odin then flash jb using odin..
Sent from my GT-P6200 using xda app-developers app
Hi Guys, i've recently ran into a problem with my P5110.
I've tried to flash the latest stock rom with odin and now my tablet wont get past the recovery screen with the well known "no command" error.
Things I've tried:
-flashing 4.0.4 stock with odin
-flashing 4.4.2 stock with odin
-repartition with PIT file + 4.2.2 stock rom
-flashing CWM/TWRP: works but the error is still persistent
-flashing a custom rom with CWM or TWRP results in the same error
-flashing a custom rom over adb
There is no way I can't get past the recovery, everthing leads to the recovery screen...
Did someone experienced the same problem and got a solution?
Is there a Problem with the NAND?
Thanks for help...

Android Andi is working hard to find a fix
we may get a solution soon
Original problem was a no fix on GPS on AOSP ROMs. The fix was supposedly to flash a TW rom, get a GPS lock, then pull the battery and restore AOSP backup. The problem is whenever I try to flash any TW rom it refuses to go pass the Galaxy S5 load screen at first boot, like it's stuck (OA6 roms). When I flash an earlier NE5 ROM it goes to the boot animation then freezes after 5 seconds. No boot for TW, but boot for AOSP
I did do an odin unroot tar, I then rooted it, got a GPS lock, pulled battery, went into TWRP, wiped system, data, and caches. Restored AOSP and still no GPS fix. I really don't want to odin my phone again.
Any fixes for either of the problems? TW not booting or GPS fix.
OA6 Firmware
TWRP
Thanks
I think that youre stuck with an odin flash as your only resort. What do you have against using odin anyways? Sure its a pain in the ass compared to button presses on your phone, but when youre stuck, odin is the bomb. That and using odin is better than having a paperweight
I did do an odin flash with an OA6 tar, but after loading AOSP it still won't resort back to TW. I guess I could try flashing another tar, any suggestions?

Known issue. Odin back, install recovery, KEEP a copy of your TW nandroid. Then just flash AOSP roms and nandroid back to TW before flashing TW roms.
Got it working! My problem was wiping the TW ROM before restoring my AOSP backup.
Thanks you!
